and found ota rom file and recovery.img file
do I just copy ota rom file and install the rom directly from the phone(my phone installs Ota updates that way)
or I need to flash that "recovery.img" as a custom recovery"??
I did install AOKP ROMs on other devices but they didnot work with their recovery.img
I had to use TWRP instead (I'm also aware of unlocking bootloader for my Asus)

Boot loader is unlocked, phone's rooted and I even had a custom ROM flashed using TWRP. But then I wanted to get back to stock version but I couldn't find the the factory image for my device so I tried flashing something else, which claimed to be the factory image for XT1092, but it ended up as a failure and in the process, TWRP recovery got replaced by the factory version. And as the process was a failure, I tried to re-flash twrp so that I can flash a custom ROM but this is what happened: (Refer to image

Hi All,
I have a Mate 10 pro with TWRP, I have received a notification about a new OTA firmware and I cannot get it to start the process due to TWRP. As this phone does not have a MicroSD slot, I cannot put the UPDATE.APP file on such memory device.
I've searched for the stock recovery with no success and now that I have the update.zip file and extracted the UPDATE.APP file, I see multiple items that seem to be the recovery but Im not sure which one to flash. Please see the below image:
Now, Its a fact that if the recovery file is larger than 16MB, it won't flash via fastboot, so, I'm stuck here. Any help is appreciated!

I have been trying to root my Archos 80 Oxygen (mra58k) for a few days now but I can't seem to do it .I have already managed to connect it to my computer, run ADB commands to it and I have even unlocked its bootloader. I want to install the TWRP recovery but my device isn't officially supported by TWRP. Can someone compile TWRP for my device and post a link to it (I have already tried doing that myself)???
You may use TWRP Builder app to ask developers of TWRP to compile the recovery for you.

I think that the app has been taken down or something.

I just wanted root my tablet (SM-T970N) so I downloaded TWRP 3.5.0, and installed it.
But I couldn't enter the TWRP recovery mode.
Soon after, I found this post [ https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/twrp-for-the-samsung-galaxy-tab-s7-5g-t976b.4163853/ ]
And I made that .img file to .tar file. and then I installed it with same process. (Using ODIN)
But I'm stuck that screen with error.
I'm downloading Firmware ( T970XXU1BUA8_T970OXM1BUA9_KOO ) now.
What can I do for recover my galaxy tab s7 plus?
And how can i do for root success? please help me.
