I'm looking for a way to root my Realme 7 5G (RMX2111).
I don't see any section related to this model.
Are the Rom of the 7 compatible with the 7 5G?
let me guess. rooting would be the same across realme's MTK devices. the latest tutorial posted on xda is rooting guide for realme 6. but don't take my word for it

Did you get any updates on this? I have the same model and trying to get to fastboot just flashes a string and immediately reboots back to system.

There is only Chinese TWRP and It can't be backed up properly When you recover Fails with an end in 255 error Probably the BACK UP of the data area is incomplete.
Probably someone will create it informally
If no one is available
TWRP will not be created forever.

How do I downgrade an the UI version I have on my mobile?
My current version is rmx2111_11_A.35
and I need to go to a version older the RMX2111PU_11_A.33
I need to install the RMX2111PU_11_A.33 version, to get the Hebrew language, currently when I try to do so, I get an error message stating the the ,mobile version is newer and therefore I can't install the new one

It's worth next to nothing. See TWRP 3.5.2_10. You can backup data into a USB memory by the latter TWRP after "echo 1 >/sys/class/power_supply/usb/otg_switch".
But you cannot do anything but data backup & restore.
Caution: Don't forget to backup the recover area on your device before flashing the latter TWRP. You may not restore the original recovery without this backup.

Hi friend I have same tablet but I did't root it yet. it is run on Android kitkat 4.4.2 too old . Many app can't be downloaded.
Did you found a way to upgrade this old android version to 6 or 7 ?
I can't download "zoom cloud meetings" it is not compatible with kitkat 4.4.2

J'ai le même problème JLinksz Tab910 acheté sur Wish pour Android 9 et s'est du faux en faite c'est un viel Android KitKat 4.4 non certifié par play store de ce fait 80% des applications ne sont pas compatibles avec la tablette c'est publicité mensongère....... cependant quelques spécialiste de aurait une solution hormis charger par Chrome.Merci.

After downloading, right click -> Rename file and add the .zip extension to it. From there, you can open the rom in 7Zip
And unfortunately, as usual, it is not a full firmware, its a patch update.
Edit: not sure why this was moved. Its not a guide by any means, or news or discussion, its a ROM file, which I'd think would go in the section literally titled "TCL 10 Pro ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Dev"

adb logcat, then clicked the update button to download the file. If its already downloaded, you aren't getting it

These do not come up as full packages though, they're "part" files, which means they're fractions of files, only the parts that are different. Its similar to how something like a file patcher works. It just changes what it has to change

Basically neet a server crawler to just guess URL's (called a URL Fuzzer) to see if we can find them

I no longer own one of these phones. Half the problem with TCL's is the updates aren't manually available from TCL. So unless someone else logcat's the update to get the oh so secret URL from tcl's servers, there's nothing I can do because I dno't have this device to try to help or the files I would have collected.
You can try JayTM's post, but not much more i can say

Background:
I tried flashing Teclast M40Pro's firmware to the tablet in hope of it working on Teclast M40, but unfortunately bricked the tablet.
Status:
It's not totally bricked. Actually I am sure that the system booted because I can browse external storage of the tablet when I plug an USB cable to the computer. The problem is that the screen does not work (both display and touch). Now I am having problem flashing back to factory image.
What I have tried is holding power button of the tablet until it reboot and then hold the volume down button, but the tablet doesn't enter factory flash mode instead it boot normally.
More Info:
The bootloader is unlocked.
Need help:
1. How to enable developer mode without needing the screen so that I can command the tablet with adb?
2. How to boot to recovery with hardware button? This link's (https://droidrecovery.com/teclast-m40-recovery-mode/ ) method doesn't seem working. If it does work, please provide more details (Like how many seconds I need to wait and how many times I need to press the button to select the recovery mode).
3. Any other methods not mentioned above.
I finally work out the solution.
Generally the last method mentioned by siamese007 works.

However, it's more tortuous than it seems.
The first problem I met was failing to flash back M40 firmware with error flashing _BKF_NV_LTE.

I solved the problem by using ResearchDownload tool instead of UpgradeDownload tool with which I could skip flashing _BKF_NV_LTE in the settings menu.
The flashing succeeded and the system booted, but here came the second problem. The system could not recognize the IMEI and what even worse was the system would crash and reboot within a few minutes. This was reasonable as I skiped flashing _BKF_NV_LTE.
The problem was solved by flashing _BKF_NV_LTE manually with fastboot.

O flashing foi bem-sucedido e o sistema inicializou, mas aí veio o segundo problema. O sistema não conseguia reconhecer o IMEI e o que é ainda pior é que o sistema travava e reiniciava em poucos minutos. Isso foi razoável, já que pulei o piscar de _BKF_NV_LTE.
O problema foi resolvido atualizando _BKF_NV_LTE manualmente com o fastboot.

1. To skip the _BKF_NV_LTE step that failed, you need to use the SPD Research Tool. Launch the tool, select the firmware and uncheck NV_LTE in the settings menu, then you should flash the fireware without error. The tool can be downloaded from https://spdflashtool.com/research-tool/spd-research-tool-r21-0-0001.
2. To make the system fully functional, you need to manually flash the file skipped in step 1. This require the bootloader to be unlocked. The unlocking method is available on https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/teclast-m40-how-to-unlock-bootloader.4185363/.

I did the same stupid thing with the m40 pro firmware...
The first step to fix it worked, thanks!! But for the second problem, I cannot use the fastboot since my bootloader is blocked and I don't know how to unlock it, I read the guides but I don't have access to linux.
I just want the tablet to work again. Could you help me?

It's been a while since I unlocked my bootloader, so I don't remember the details of how to unlock the bootloader, but I would suggest trying a Linux VM or WSL.
There is another method by Dtechflix in youtube. Download SPD_Research_Tool and run "ResearchDownload.exe".
Load the pac file (M40) -> click option button (2nd from left) -> Click "Backup" -> untick "NV_LTE" and "ProdNV" at the bottom -> Click "OK" -> Click "Update icon" (3rd from left) and proceed with the remaining steps as normal for flashing.
i managed to unlock the xt2095-1 bootloader but at the same time i corrupted imei

In my case, I was able to unlock it by writing the lolinet stock rom (retbr latest patch released.) with that, I used the mtkclient unlock method normally. to my surprise, after restarting the device, I saw the message that the bootloader was unlocked

Maizon, how did you manage to install magisk? on my device it always had bootloops after writing the kernel.

Unfortunately I couldn't understand if my method works. Also, with the IMEI lost, you no longer have access to the cellular network.
Also, please only write English in the forums. This makes mods very happy.
What did I do:
- Using SP Flash Tool, I rewrote the stock ROM.
- Then I used mtkclient with the command:
Bash:
mtk da seccfg unlock
- Note that I use linux. The way you invoke mtk is different by platform.
- On reboot, if you get the message (Orange State), you've nailed it.

simple hint: speak english in xda threads. Mods will be happy.
And check if your kernel is 64-bit. Because, in my decide, ships a 64-bit ROM.
In fact, it is possible to write the corresponding A/B ROM via fastbootd.

Unlocking bootloader forces factory reset.
allow permissions for Mi Cloud Sync, SMS and remote access, create Mi account, enable developer options in phone settings, enable OEM unlocking, in Mi account settings bond with Mi account, register SIM card, then wait for 7 days.
in developer options, enable OEM unlocking then reboot into fastboot mode right after (repeat this every time you enter fastboot mode)
connect phone to PC, install Android Bootloader Interface drivers, install platform-tools and double check (cmd.exe) device is visible in 'fastboot devices'
Now you are ready to unlock bootloader with official Mi Unlock Tool. if you need linux or mac version use unofficial XiaoMiTool V2.
Remember your Mi account credentials! After successful unlocking bootloader, WiFi network is required for FRP unlocking (mi account).
After finishing initial setup, remove bonded Mi account in order to disable FRP and revoke permissions for Mi cloud.
Like TS, I've also been scouring this forum for a reliable guide to root Poco M5 but have yet to find any. Would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Edit: Figured two things out, can use normal de-bloat guides and there is NO custom ROM probably due to the chip not being Snapdragon type.

Eu também, inclusive ele está nesse momento em Hard bricked rsrs , levei na assistência técnica, me arrependo amargamente desde o primeiro erro dia que peguei esse aparelho, e paguei caro por ele.

Good afternoon guys, after taking the Poco M5 to the assistance and being told that there is no server for this model, I managed to leave Brick alone using MiUnlock and Miflash, the secret is to remove the Mi account on the Xiaomi website and do the procedures because Xiaomi blocks the bootloader automatically, I'll wait for the TWRP that looks like it's the same as the Redimi 11 prime 4G, I'll try again and I'll make a tutorial, hugs to all.
