So I was given a phone by someone and when I tried to get it reset by Xperia Companion it says this:
UEGetPhoneInfoRootedDeviceUE_20032.11.6.0
Windows 10 64 bit
Win32 / US
Its an Xperia E5823.
I tried the following:
- Delete the Google account or remember your credentials to enter
- Charge device to > 80% and switch it off
- Open Xperia Companion and do Software repair
- Tick the "my device cannot be detected or started, or is a SmartWatch 3"
- Follow the instructions
Same result.
So after that I managed to download the correct firmware through Xperifirm.
Now I am trying to use something called Flashtool to try and
flash that to my phone.
https://androidmtk.com/download-sony-mobile-flasher
It gives the following error message when I start it up. I have tried
giving zip.dll file admin rights but nothing.
FlashTool64.exe - Insert point not found
The JVM_GetLastErrorString input point of the process
could not be found in the dynamics library
C: \ Program Files \ AdoptOpenJDK \ jre-8.0.282.8-hotspot \ bin \ zip.dll.
(this is a translation from Greek into English, so I don't know if its exact)
Tried reinstalling Java as well, both 32 and 64x.
Any idea if there is some other program I can use to install this?

Yo so... I was trying to make my x10 a better phone xD
I wanted to add the full dualtouch feature (every app) but when I try to install flashtool on my PC it says that it isn't a genuine win32 application and it doesn't install
Any help?
What windows are you using.
Are you using a MAC
Are you running it as Administrator " Right Click, Run as Admin " ?
Oh yeah sorry forgot to mention it
I am using windows 7 64 bit ultimate..
I tried running as admin and I tried running in compatibility mode but it still doesn't work
try this flashtool http://www.multiupload.com/7H4JT35B6G
FlashTool runs on Java. Make sure you have it installed.

PREPARATION BEFORE FLASHING
1. Download the f/w and flashtool from above link.
2. Extract Flashtool to a folder (we'll be using \X10Flash for this example)
3. Extract the f/w to \X10FLash\firmware
4. Download 32bit JDK here (JDK, Not JRE!!) . Its usually the first download from the top>> http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...ads/index.html
5. Install JDK. By default it will be installed to C:\Program Files\Sun\JavaDB
6. Copy this t your clipboard "C:\Program Files\Sun\JavaDB\bin" (including "")
7. Go to your Control Panel>System>Properties>Advanced>Enviroment Variables.
8. In the System Variables section(bottom half of the window), look for 'Path' and click 'Edit'.
9. Go to the end of the line and type ';' and paste the path from earlier "C:\Program Files\Sun\JavaDB\bin". Click OK to everything after that. This will tell windows where to look for the java files so Flashtool can run properly.
10. Restart your system. Shut down your X10 Mini Pro at the same time since it need to rest in off state for about 20-30 secs. If not some X10 Mini Pro will boot automatically when u plug in the usb cable.

Problem solved thanks !
Well I have been trying to have WP7 on my HD2 since a month, and although I have been successfull in burning this ROM and update it until 7403, I was not able to move further.
Whatever I tried it resulted in one or the other error. Both Zune and WPUdateCabsender failed.
At last I was able to successfully run the WPUCS as below.
Normally all cab files are zipped/rarred available at xb0xMods site. These files once zipped add some attribute once zipped.
So, here are the steps to successfully use update ca sender.
1. Create folder WP7 in C: drive and copy the files in update cab sender folder here.
2. Unzip/Unrar the cab files to WP7 folder
3. Open Command Prompt (in Admin Privilege).
4. Go to C:\WP7
5. Type attrib -A -S -H -R *.*
6. Stop any Virtual Device drivers like MagicISO, or Virtual PC.
7. Run WPUCS successfully.
This helped me to upgrade from 7392 directly to 7720 in one shot.
Also note that even if the command prompt says error and stops after restarting the device, the device will get into connectorscreen mode.
During this the Device actually updates the device, so do not try to remove battery or reset, wait for an hour until the process is completed.
Note: The only issue is during updating the device gets overheated, and sometimes it gets stuck in Magldr screen, only then restart/reset the device.
Hello could anyone please help me with rooting my zoostorm sl8 mini running ICS. I just don't know which rooting program to use and with one will work. I have search the web now for days and cant find anything.
Please Help!
Thanks:good:
Use the Qemu exploit
This can device can be rooted using DoomLords Xperia script. I have ported the script to linux as well for Ubuntu users,
The original script is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1601038
I haven't tested the Windows script, but I assume it will work as I haven't changed anything, the Linux script has been fully tested and I have successfully rooted the sl8 mini using it.
For Windows see below:
1) Download the attached zip file and Super1Click zip file ( http://download.cnet.com/SuperOneClick/3000-2094_4-75447027.html ).
2) Unzip the zip files into a new folders (you can use 7-zip for this : http://www.7-zip.org/)
3) Power on the Zoostorm Sl8 Mini and boot it normally.
4) Go into settings, developer options and tick USB debugging
5) Go to settings, security and tick Allow installtion of non-Market Apps
6) Connect the table to the PC with a USB cable.
7) When the new Hardware Found Wizard find the Android device and can't find a driver, select install from speficic location and browse to drivers folder under the folder you just unzipped the Super1click file to.
8) The driver should install from here and will show as an Acer Android device.
9) If Windows complains about the driver not being signed tell it to continue anyway.
10) Reboot the Windows PC if requested by the Hardware installation Wizard.
11) Discconect and replug the USB cable.
12) Open a windows command prompt
13) Navigate to the folder where the unzipped rootsl8mini.zip files are.
14) type runme.bat
15) Read the blurb on the screen and press any key to root your tablet.
16) The Sl8 mini will reboot several times, after it has reboot for the last time your sl8 mini will now be rooted.
For Linux (Ubuntu Precise Pangolin)
1) Install Android SDK, make sure the folder where adb is located is in your shell path variable. See link for Ubuntu instructions (http://www.liberiangeek.net/2012/07...-androidsdk-in-ubuntu-12-04-precise-pangolin/)
2) Download the attached rootsl8mini.zip file and unzip it into a folder.
3) Go into the folder where you unzipped the file and make the runme.bat.sh file executable. (Myhost:$ chmod 777 runme.bat.sh)
4) Power on the Zoostorm Sl8 Mini and boot it normally.
5) Go into settings, developer options and tick USB debugging
6) Go to settings, security and tick Allow installtion of non-Market Apps
7) Connect the tablet to the PC with the USB cable.
8) Execute the runme.bat.sh script (Myhost:$ ./runme.bat.sh)
9) Read the blurb on the screen and press any key to root your tablet.
10) The Sl8 mini will reboot several times, after it has reboot for the last time your sl8 mini will now be rooted.
Enjoy
Thank you, do I go to unzipped file using command prompt?

I`m a noob to the Zoostorm. Are there any JB / CM10 ports for it?
Are they known as another name elsewhere in this forum?

Bought this tablet as a gift for my father and assumed that connecting it to a usb keyboard would be straightforward (yeap android noob ) . My question is , is that even possible? Is there a custom rom that can be installed, I presume after rooting the device that enables usb host mode?
Hi
I have IUNI U3
I wanted it to support google services, so i've followed some guide from this forum
According to the guide, I had to change the ro.product.model
Since then, the phone is not starting..even not fastboot : /
I have a backup of the file inside the phone, but there are 2 main problems:
1. adb has issues connecting the device..
When I connect the device to the computer, it starts searching for drivers
During the search the device is connected, but when it fails, the adb sees the device as offline
Do you have any idea how can I get the drivers? I don't know chinese, so I have problems searching the official site
2. if I do manage to get inside with adb, it doesn't have permissions on the files
Please HELP : ///
Thanks
I dont no .........!!!!!
Almighty! lets get started,
I have a 64 bit computer running Windows 7 professional.
First let me mention I tried to fix this on my own. darn I tried.
Just plugging the tablet into computer shows a windows explorer page named Autoplay that let me view pictures on device on a folder named
Computer\Trio HD Elite 7.85 Tablet
Installed android-studio-bundle-141.1903250-windows in
Error- SDK required.
Downloaded jdk-7u79-windows-x64 (java development kit)-install reboot PC
Open C:\Andriod in windows explorer, open SDK Manager
A command prompt window flashes briefly, then closes.
click start, search for run key in sysdm.cpl go to advanced, environment variables create new path named JAVA_HOME that does directly to the java .exe file
(this was checked by reinstalling the java development kit, then opening Java typing where java it tells me C:\Windows\System 32 even though the path is
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_79
opening ADB works!
Download Extras- Android USB Driver
open CMD key in
cd C:\Andriod\platform-tools
this brings me to the directory where Android ADB is.
abd devices
no devices detected.
Installed Samsung Kiles.
TRIED to install PDAnet.. failure.
tried to open Device manager, where a entry marked Trio HD Elite 7.85 Tablet sits, and update the driver to the C:\Andriod\extras\google\usb_driver
it complains about driver being unsigned. Using This guide I used step Two downloaded Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider (DSEO) and ran it.
went into the C:\Andriod\extras\google\usb_driver folder and manually keyed in every title in the folder.
each time program stated had signed successfully. The computer is now saying test mode in the bottom right hand corner. however trying to update driver gives same error.
I'm amusing the device needs to be in developer mode, which it cant be put into because it's locked.
The Trio Support is useless there steps do not open any settings. Also tried a list of alternate ways to open tablet recovery. and since ADB isn't reconizing the device I can't run adb reboot recovery
So. end result, im here with coffee and no milk,
A generic tablet cobbled together from who knows where,
and a locked screen.
Think you can help?
ANY assistance is appreciated.
So i have a cheap generic tablet that says Trio Stealth G4X 7.85
