How to remove this setting. When i am disabling gmd app then my previous soft keys are not coming back. Even after restarting.
I uninstalled the latest version of Google calendar I had and installed an older version from: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/calendar/calendar-201404014-android-apk-download/[1]
Then I couldn't find the calendar widget in the widgets menu nor in the launcher. I'm using Nova launcher. I also tried to see maybe it will show up in another launcher but it doesn't.
I tired to remove the old calendar and install the latest calendar from the store but it still doesn't show up.
I tired to install another app to see if new widgets are added at all and they are added to the menu.
I tried to clean cache and delvic cache and do all sorts of reboot combinations but nothing helped.
I'm running android 4.2 and have root.
I'm out of ideas, help please?
Hello everyone,
I have a Lenono A806. The device was rooted and I downloaded an root uninstaller from the Play store to uninstall some apps that I couldn't otherwise.
In the process, among other apps, I deleted the only launcher I had on the phone (Lenovo Launcher) and I might have deleted the APK (not sure about the APK). The result was a black screen without any apps.
When turn on the phone I can see the home screen (same one you see before you unlock keyboard) and I also have some of the functionalities (eg messages, can make calls etc). However if I open one of these functionalities and I click on the "back" button, the screen goes completely black and the phone goes unresponsive. I tried to reset factory settings by holding the Volume Up + Down + On/Off button which opened the "Lenovo Recovery" screen and I choosing the "wipe user data (both fuse format and fuse wipe data). I also tried he install update package option and I rebooted the phone. Nothing of those worked.
Could anyone direct me towards the right way?
Thanks in advance,
Ilias

you can access your file manager then I would suggest obtaining a launcher apk, putting it on your sdcad and then installing it from there via file manager. I like ADW very much - it can be had from here:

It's custom rom
I like the changelog, I'll test. Congratulations
Play services keeps crashing for me.
It's custom Rom, not official released Rom. Those pull down menu not built-in, but using the exposd module.. FS bar
Any way to port xposed modules from this rom?
hmm.....what to say, Most of functions of FS Bar Indicator require you to purchase pro version. This Rom packed with cracked version?
Sorry no idea to port it

Dont bother installing, many bugs.
You have to repair system cache and data in order to install.

Mostly playstore and google related bugs which are essential to me. I have clean installed every time and did as op instructed but its not working.
Try aswell and tell me if it is going to work for you. This rom is the epitome of bloat fyi, you will have to debloat with tb. Be warned.
Here's this normal look

I installed playstore but i get popups of play services crashing.
Here is what i did.
Clean flash rom. Wipe data cache and dalvik. Installed the app you linked and run it. Afterwards while it installs play service and google related apps , i get popups of play service crashing. Playstore boots normally but i just get these errors constantly. Tell me if i did something wrong.
Permissions where all set so i didnt have to change something for me.
Before I will just clear data Andros setup and disable then clear data of download manager and play store then reboot then disable enable the three check box of notification of download manager then reboot then download on status bar now shows. But recently I flashed los 16.0 but that workaround doesn't work anymore. Any suggestions? I used opengapps nano
