A few days ago I changed the motherboard and the wifi and gps are not working correctly, does anyone know where the antennas are?

Hi,
I have an unlocked HTC hero from orange. It is having some strange problem relating gps(global positioning system). The gps works extremely well when I am connected to network through 2g network but do not works at all when I am connected through 3g. I don't see any relationship between them also I can use gps in airplane mode but can not use it when there is no sum inserted. What I think is that as the phone share common gps, 2g and 3g chip when the phone turns off 2g radio it also turns off the gps chip. Is somebody else experiencing the same problem. I also reset the device but problem persists. Is there something I can do. Is it hardware fault or bug in the software considering gps is working very fine on 2g. I currently have latest genuine Rom from orange so cannot try changing the Rom.

The rom is very good,
I have though the following problem, or GPS or 3G, no EDGE connection when under rooming in Italy as with every other rom,
When i use Gps the 3g connection drops and to get it back i have to toggle gps and reboot
Any sugestion to this problem, anyone else with same problem, where i live i have max coverage so that shouldn't be the problem

ive been having a problem with my wifi ever ince i got this phone the wifi would drop for a few seconds all the time while i was using the phone i tried flashing diff roms same result has anyone experienced this and know a fix by the way, i restarted my router several times, i also set frequency band to 2.4 and i still get the same thing

I asked them at the sprint store about wifi problems, they told me thet sprint knows about it, that the problem is compatibility with some routers (4 that they know about) I can't remember which models, I know some linksys routers are included, they told me they (HTC) are working on a patch for it..

Hello guys I really need your help, my brother managed to cut the two antennas on my evo 3d, they are bluetooth and wireless, I brought in a technician and he put two new but not original, bluetooth and wireless work very well, but no gps works and when it works well signal gets weak. Can someone tell me oq is happening and a possible solution specific kernel? Thank you.
Well considering the other two antennas were damaged, I'm guessing something happened to the gps antenna as well. A kernel won't fix it.

The technician said that the antenna gps and bluetooth are the same, he put the new antennas. But the GPS signal is weak.
Well again, if it worked before, and now it doesn't, then obviously it wasn't fixed correctly. Take it back and have them fix it until they get it right.

something very strange have been happening with my phone and my carrier's signal.
I have a GSM galaxy nexus running CM 11
for some reason, I can't have both a 3G data connection and my gps work at the same time.
I've tried lots of other combinations, (wifi on, wifi off, data on, data off, 2g only, airplane mode) and with all of them my GPS works perfectly.
the second I allow my phone to use the 3G connection, the GPS dies stops working completely until I reboot.
I've tried probably 6 different roms so far, including going back to stock and trying all the stock images google released for my phone.
then I decided to try another sim from another carrier, and guess what? GPS works perfectly, whether is 2G or 3G. so I'm thinking, is my carrier's 3G signal somehow messing with my phone's GPS?
I can't really find anything about this two things conflicting with each other. hope someone here knows a little more about it, or maybe give me a little hint as to what else could I try next?

after trying pretty much everything, I bought a new sim card from my carrier and guess what? problem solved.. or so it seemed.
my GPS worked perfectly for about 2 days. then the exact same thing again. 3G enabled? no GPS.
I hope someone reads this and could help. I have no idea what to do anymore.
