Is there any way that I can flash chinese firmware on my Global device Amazfit GTS 2! If I flash chinese firmware on global device, then will it brick my device? And if it got bricked then how to revert back to global firmware?

I would love to try doing this on my gtr 2. I know how to do it, by using the 'Notifications for Amazfit' app but I can't find any firmwares to download.

And also u can download yourself by Joining "Huami Firmwares" on telegram
OK cool. I will do that. So you just need to install the app I mentioned, then you can select the file from your phone and it will update the watch.

That's the problem bro..I know how to install it..but if it doesn't match then the watch will get bricked..And unfortunately I don't have the global Firmware for GTS 2 and GTR 2

OK so I tried. It transferred to the watch, and the app said update successful. The watch was stuck on the green arrow screen. I restarted the watch and same thing. I loaded the Zepp app and it said there was a software update, which I did and then it went back to stock firmware with everything intact.

I am quite a noob, and since u are a senior member, can u guide me how to install cm13? I am on EMUI4.0 but twrp is not installing the latest nightly, there appears to be a system mismatch or something. It says something like incompatible with EXT4 system. I tried to change it with TWRP but there was no option of F2FS.

Since you're on EMUI 4 you shouldn't face problems when instaling cm13, check if the rom file is corrupted (not downloaded properly)

I have just downloaded it from cyanogenmod. While I was on EMUI 3.0 it gave error 7 about some assert, now that is gone but now it gives this error about EXT4 system

Go to additional settings and check to change region to India. It should be available below languages and input section.
Try it as it is available in my phone having 9.6.25 fw.

Custom ROM (especilly Xiaomi-EU) removes cust partition data which is required for changing region on Stock MIUI and it doesn't come in twrp flashable zips so if you want to change regian after going back to stock from custom roms you need to flash it via fastboot method.
you can search for flashing only cust or other tricks like editing build.prop for region change on google/xda (i never used them so i don't know much about it)

I tried the file shared by sunjay but it's showing unable to install because it's unofficial.
My device is not rooted i updated to 10.3.4.0 after some time i reset my phone from that time i am facing this problem.

Great.happy that it helped you. I was using this for all the global betas and stable. This will not work only on EU MIUI roms as they doesn't have region option enabled.

I used the patch but it reverts after reboot.

Someone else had a similar problem, and IIRIC it was "fixed" by factory reset and/or re-installing the firmware. You can find the instructions in another post, but be aware that it requires a third party app, it voids warranty and there is a high risk of bricking...

Ten minutes ago I solved the problem. Manual flashed the same firmware 1.3.5.08..., fonts, base, resurse, base resurse... using notify & fitness apk.

Yes, when you flashed FW after restarting on your watch will show that the other two(font and resources) should be updated. That you doing manually like first step....

It won't help since it's a system app and bootloader is locked with no way to write to system partition. Do a backup of your data, factory reset and restore data... the app will be back.

Really don't understand why it isn't working when it was working originaly when Mate 20 series released then later on been replaced by google sms...
I think I need to uninstall google sms app and then install orig huawei sms app

Only ONE app can have permission for reading/sending SMS/MMS at same time.
Try reinstallng the stock rom app and then setting it as the default app for messaging.

Probably you are installing the wrong version.
Try extracing the apk from the original stock rom.
Definitely, it will be the exact same version.

It won't be back I had google messages..
But I think when 20x released had huawei sms but it was in android 9 but they probably locked it in android 10

yes of course. I follow the instruktions on the realme site. Since i have the CN version of the phone i think thats why it does not work. whenever i select the update package it says " Verification failed". i tried some adb sideload without success
