[Q] HELP - My Galaxy S2 won't turn on/charge

Hi everyone !
I need your help : my galaxy S2 (1 year and 4 months of age) is not turning on anymore...
I'm on rooted JellyBam 1.1 and have Siyah Kernel 5.1 w/ CWM Touch as a recovery.
I was noticing some problems since last month but I don't know if it's correlated : my screen would turn on and off randomly during the day without any notification or anything.
Half an hour ago it froze, so I removed the battery and put it back on, I restarted once, and was stuck on rom bootscreen, then I did the same, removed battery+restart and then I was stuck on siyah splashscreen. Finally I did this once more and that time my phone wouldn't start anymore...
I switched batteries, did a soft reset (holding POWER 10 secs with battery off) and a hard reset (holding POWER+HOME 10 secs with battery on), plugged it to a computer via USB but nothing works and I don't see the charging sign anymore !
Do you guys have a solution ? I'm no longer under waranty so I don't know what to do...
Thanks a lot !
PS : how can I retrieve the data from internal memory to back it up in case there are no solutions ?

[Q] S3 bricked? need some help

Yo guys well it eventually had to happen someday. Well i will try to explain what exactly happenend.
I had the Sensation 5 Rom on my device. which means i was on 4.4.2 the CWM recovery is 6.0.4.7
yesterday i decided to flash back to the Revolution HD Rom which is 4.3 if im not mistaken... i didnt change the cwm recovery.
There were no problems while flashing and the Revolution HD Rom was working fine until today when i decided to boot into recovery Mode.
(My hardware PowerButton is defect thats why i took it out of my phone so yeah there is no Power Button on my S3)
Because i cant use the 3 button combo to get into Recovery i used the App quick boot and used the App to boot into Recovery mode.
Now from there on my Problem begins. The Samsung Logo appears then the phone boots into Recovery but only for roughly 1 second.
The only thing i can see is the circle with a hat in the middle (the logo) and the cwm version on the bottom before the phone shuts down and everything starts again...its kind of a bootloop only going into recovery mode for 1 second and then starting a new.
Which mena si CANT use recovery Mode and i ALSO cant get into Download Mode somehow... ive tried holding the Volume down button and Home button and everything but i cant get the phone into download Mode so yeah phone is stuck in that Bootloop which i explained above.
Do u guys think that a Usb Jig from Amazon would actually work getting the Phone into Download Mode? or is it a lost cause and i should start looking for a new phone? ^^
i would appreciate any answers a lot !
No one who can help? :/

well if i try adb the device isnt shown as connected because well the phone restarts every 2-3 seconds.
If there is still any other way wich it could work without a usb jig that would be awesome
ive found a thread over google which said something about sp tools and scatter files....looked like it was possible to change the files of the phone while it was shut down....Does somebody on here know if this is possible?

Thank you For Reply Sir,
Yes I Had Rooted my phone using Kingo Root But a few days Back before it stopped working.
PS. My phone had some other than stock recovery which was installed by Kingo Root at the time of Rooting itself.
Keep trying to get into download mode (VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER). If you succeed, download stock rom from http://sammobile.com and flash it with Odin.
If you really can't get into download mode, you will need to send your device to Samsung service center to repairs.
Today when I was Searching over the Web about this problem I came to know about the thing known as USB JIG, which is used Unbrick HardBricked Phones, So I was thinking to try it.
What do you Suggest? Should I Give it a try or not?
I, personally, would give it a try. I don't know if it will work. If you are willing to risk, it may work for you.
Im following this guide to create my own jig and use it for my device to get it to the Download mode.
One more thing I noticed today ..
Today When I reinserted my Battery it was not showing me anything so thought My battery was totally drained out in this phone itself, so I put it on Charging and it didn't show up anything such as charging on the Screen but it did Charge my Phone.
can you tell me What does this suppose to mean??
Does it signal that I still have got some chances to revive my phone??
I would say that this only mean that your device is charging, although it doesn't show any signal of it.
You may have a chance to revive your phone. Also, if you have a custom recovery installed, you could try to flash a custom rom. You can boot on recovery pressing VOL UP + POWER + HOME buttons.
Thank you for support friend, I got my problem solved.
There was a problem with the power button, I got it replaced from the Samsung service centre nd now it works like a charm.

galaxy s4 only starting in recovery mode !!!!

Hello I found a Sprint galaxy s4 Model SPH-L720 and I waited a 2 weeks to see if the owner would call to retrieve his/her phone . So its been a 2 weeks and the person didnt so i think its ok to use it with a clear conscious. The thing is when the owners sim card was in the phone it was working fine but after a while the sim card stopped working I imagined the owner canceled the sim card. The issue I am having now is when I put my t-mobile sim card in the phone or turn on the phone without a sim it goes straight into recovery mode .. It also refuses to go into download mode . I tried the method of holding down on the power button for 5 minutes and then turn it on again and surprisingly the phone boots up normally but you can still see the recovery mode screen in the background even though the phone is on the home screen.. I dont know what to do .... I put a old Verizon sim card in it and it does boot instead of going into recovery mode but still you can see the recovery mode in the background of the home screen. Any help will be welcomed!!
