Does anyone know how to automaticly get camera pictures taken with latest google camera on see card. The regular setting is to save photos on internal memory. I'm on cm 13 with a oneplus x.
I've tried pictures2sd xposed module, but it doesn't do the trick.
Hey guys,
ive been using custom roms for a long time, now on the xiaomi redmi note 3 i experience a strange thing deleting pictures on my micro sd card.
using stock camera and gallery app, everything is totally fine, i can take pictures and delete them.
with other gallery apps like quickpic and sony album the pictures wont be deleted on the sd card, the thumbnail inside the app is gone but when i look with solid explorer the original file remains on the sd. when i set storage for pictures to internal storage those apps can delete the pictures without any problem.
is there any workaround? i would like to stay as stock as possible, so i dont wont to use bloat gallery apps from the playstore...
anybody has a solution for me?
roms where there problem exists for me:
MM RR 5.7.4.
Nougat RR 5.8.2
Xiaomi.EU Custom rom
Themes apk version - v 1.2.7.0 & also updated to v 1.2.7.5 today.
How to reproduce:
Go to settings > Wallpaper.
Browse local photos.
In this under Albums, it shows even old deleted images thumbnails and folders.
I deleted thumbnails from the entire system but it still shows old images and thumbnails from somewhere. If we click on the non existent image thumbnail it gives error "skipped a photo which isn't on device". You would expect that it updates its thumbnail cache after this and removes the thumbnail, but it does not.
Is there a way to remove all these old unwanted thumbnails?
I searched Google for this issue and it seems its an issue from Redmi Note 3 or even before. Are these MI developers so bad that they cant update a thumbnail cache properly? Or is it (the themes app) saving our phone images on MI cloud even if we have not logged in or have MI account?
This phone even has Cheetah and Tencent system cleaners baked into its "security center". Is this a joke?
I wouldn't have bought this ****ty phone if I knew before hand all this **** was installed in this phone and we cannot remove it. Seems like a black hole of privacy concerns here.
Could not post it on Oppo forums. Seems like 1 Gb of personal data and 2 GB of Andriod data is in use out of 22 GB. Looking at the application manager it seems Photos (not google photos app but the default photos app) app is consuming 8 GB of data (only 300 Mb of photos in storage and shouldn't be part of the photos app so I guess its some kind of cache). I tried to clear data but it just tries to clean but nothing happens. Couldn't stop the photos app either. Have tried restarting the phone too.
Hi, I'm having problem with recovering lost photos from phone memory. I have absolutely no idea how they disappeared. It's just that the system app Album is empty. There is also nothing in the DCIM folder. All photos and videos are gone. I tried to use an application from Google Play but these applications are not a disgrace, they can only find files that are visible. I also tried the PC applications with equally poor results. Most of the PC applications require root on the phone. Anyone of you have any experiences with an effective way to recover photos?
