I Am trying to get Bluetooth to connect. I am able to go through the dialog to pair with a device and accept the pin, but once that process is finished, I cant connect. I am able to tap connect on a device, it switches into connected briefly but then jumps back to unconnected.
how can I debug this? I tried enabling Bluetooth logs but I can't find the log file anywhere. I flashed the stock ROM and Bluetooth still didn't work. Right now I'm on AOSP generic system image.
thoughts?

Hi all!
I'm having a weird issue and I was hoping someone could help. My Samsung Note (att ver) when connected to my PC (USB file transfer/debug) will randomly disconnect after a minute or 2.
Let me also throw a few things out there. 1) I had an atrix prior to this and didn't have this issue. 2) I did download and install the samsung usb drivers. 3) I have tried all the ports on my pc (desktop, USB 2.0 (4 different ports)).
I can run odin fine but when doing something like just connecting let alone ADB (can't even get the connection to last long enough to push anything) I get the initial connection and can see my phone fine (files...whatnot) but then like i said a minute or 2 later....It just drops connection as if it was never there. I unplug, replug get the connection again and boom gone again...
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Are you connecting it through the MTP connection?
try going to Settings>Wireless and Network>Usb Utilities
try that instead
Solved
I think all this happens because of Kies software. It's a monster, I will never use it any more. Even uninstlling may not help. Better use MobilEdit instead.
Anyway, I found solution in registry. So, try this:
Before starting, disconnect all usb devices from PC
1. Open Windows registry editor
2. Open key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Enum\USB
3. Press CTRL+F and search in data value your device name (egz. Samsung)
4. Delete all key branches with name started: Vid_*** where your device will be found (You may have to enable permissions first).
Reconnect device. That's all
Not sure all because of Kies. Fact is that Android USB modem driver conflicting with Android ADB driver. Try to update them or simple disable USB modem driver.
One more possible solution is just connecting device to another usb port, however it helps not for long time.
I just stumbled upon this application and man I was like WOW, I am impressed about its idea of having a GUI for ADB features. It has tons of features, enough talk see screenshots for details:
QtADB Website
myawan, please try out the instructions to connect to your phone via wifi. I've tried it, and couldn't get it to work. It seems to connect, but isn't actually able to send/receive any information.

How to connect QtADB with Phone via Wifi
1) connect Your phone via usb, when it’s connected choose Connection->WiFi from menu and type phones IP and port (to change connection mode You need to connect QtADB with phone because its changing options in phone, not in QtADB. Next time You don’t have to connect usb before connecting via Wifi)
2) install on phone adbWireless and run. Press green button, it will show Your IP and port on phone screen. Type it to the QtADB and press connect.
3) you need to be connected to same wifi router (both phone & pc).

Unfortunately no
Set up ADB over WiFi according to this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26844535
Then Connect->WiFi
Type in your smartphone's IP
And you're done.
Trying to run ADB Wireless on the Nexus 7 w/ Android 4.2.2; it hangs the program when enabling (pressing the big green button) and reboots the tablet. Do you think this has got something to with this new RSA identification for ADB connection or am I just crazy? (Worked fine on 4.2.1 and below)
EDIT: I'm crazy; it's working.
You're not crazy, it wasn't working for me either. What i did to fix it was to plug in usb cable, disable debugging then reenable it, got the rsa, checked always allow this computer et voila, it's working for me now.
Sounds like you already updated your adb, which was also necessary.
I flashed my J7 Prime using Odin and it's official Stock ROM but after that, I am unable to charge my phone and detect on a PC via USB cable. When turned off, the device will charge. When boot to Download mode, Odin will be able to detect the device.
I also tried Service Menu secret codes and wonder why *#2683662# returns Not Supported.
Did something happen to my NVRAM??
On About Device section, everything seems fine. IMEI are still readable, the device status shows that it's Official and even the NTC Approval is present.
Hoping someone could help me.

Try the code *#0808# to set different modes, also under Developer Options about half way down the menu, there's another settings called USB Configuration where you can set it to Charge This Phone, MTP, PTP, RNDIS, etc.
While the phone is turned off, you can charge it but will not be able to detect it in USB, that's just the way it was designed.
If the phone is turned on, then you can charge it and detect it in the USB mode depending on the above settings.
Good Luck!
My Arc7HD boots up but gets stuck on set up screen. In the background you can see the deice is connected to wifi but I get an error saying there is something wrong with your wifi and it won't let me go any further.
I can boot into ADB and can even access the Arc's Hard Drive on my PC.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
I have tried sideloading several different zipped ROM's to no avail - The unit doesn't think it can connect to wi-fi for some reason???
