I am at a loss. Last time I used youtube vanced I flashed it via magisk. Now I have the manager for vanced installed but you tube vanced will not install. I think it has to do with signature checking but I am not sure. Can anyone help me out?

Nevermind. I uninstalled via titanium. Then tried with vanced manager, it failed. Reinstalled with play store. Then installed with vanced manager. It had a new error. Then tried yet a second time with vanced manager and then it went. Didn't need to do any xposed modules to remove signature checking.

I have been trying different method on installing rooted apps bbut anything that would related to system configuration would end up with message of "app is not installed" in installation. Including "Viper4, Youtube Vance, Google Camera".
However I'm able to install viper through magisk module. Just install inside the magisk. And it works. But no luck finding the other two apps.
Any suggestions guys?
Im rooted.
Disabled Google App Protection
I installed YouTube vanced (non root) with microG which works perfectly fine.
I have downloaded the YouTube vanced zip through magisk and tried flashing it through magisk and twrp, both say successful but the app does not show. I have entirely uninstalled the stock YouTube app by removing it as a system app (through debloater) and then uninstalling it. Could someone advice me as to how to install it properly.
Edit: I successfully installed it by following steps from this tread- https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72775808&postcount=2
I used the second method I believe it's called the "manual method"
I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S rooted and with AdAway working but YouTube has adds
I had tried to install YouTube Vanced (root-Default) but SAI told me it haven't certificates.
INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES: Failed to collect certificates from /data/app/vmdl368145470.tmp/69.apk: /data/app/vmdl368145470.tmp/69.apk failed verification of META-INF/CERT.SF: Failed to verify signature: no verified SignerInfos
With root-legacy it's the same problem
I can to install version no-root BUT when I open the vanced lauch exception immediately.

You should install magisk then download vanced module.
It's working for me.
Magisk + EdXposed (you need to install the Riru Core and EdXposed YAHFA module to have EdXposed on your phone). After that, download, install and activate it the EdXposed module called "NoAdsBackgroundPlaybackYT" in EdXposed Manager (Version 2.0.9 from the module on Github works flawlessly). Result = background playback and no ads work even after YouTube updates. I'm using this solution for years now and it has always worked. Vanced is causing too much trouble / too unreliable for my taste.
Honestly i use youtube vanced which i installed very simple because its just an apk file in combination with microg G vanced. Its working without a problem. No need root.
I use Newpipe and dont see any ads.
I have AdAway installed.

if you see the video Im root. (with Magisk) and no works.
NewPipe is cool BUT you cant login, like/dislikes videos, see recomendations, etc
I just installed vanced and microG through the vanced manager app. Working fine so far without root/magisk.
Vanced and Micro G as well here, I had problems with the Magisk module.
I am on Root with Magisk and installed Youtube Vanced Root with SAI.
I found the other threads and tried their solutions.
I tried installing and running SDMaid and rebooted and that didn't help.
I tried uninstalling Chrome -> nope.
I tried installing Android System Webview -> nope.
I tried reinstalling Chrome -> nope
I tried uninstalling ASW -> nope.
I tried flashing Youtube from TWRP -> failed.
I tried installing MicroG although shouldn't need it on rooted version; that didn't help either.
I think I've been here before, but I don't know how I solved it last time.
Any ideas?
Edit: Just remembered: Last time I a) uninstalled Youtube Vanced, a) then installed Youtube from Playstore, c) then deactivated Auto Update, d) then uninstalled Youtube Updates from Playstore, e) then installed Vanced ontop and that worked.
It does not work this time because at d) I cannot uninstall any Youtube Updates and at e) I can't install Vanced, because "newer version already installed".
Edit2: I tried a good dozens of old Youtube .apks (and xapks and mapks) but most straight up didn't install (including xapk* and SAI- installer) and all others were either too new or too old or sth. else to work.
Don't have TWRP and/or Magisk installed - and never will do so - but I know you always can completly traceless uninstall any app and their updates, be it a system-app and/or system-privileged-app or user-app.
The miserability is that Youtube Vanced - when it auto-updates - always gets overwritten by Google's Youtube.
Hi guys,
I'm trying to install YouTube Vanced, I have Stock ROM rooted with Magisk, but I get an error:
"Installation failed because the user tried to downgrade the package. Uninstall updates from the stock app, then try again."
I don't have an option to uninstall updates, so I used Package Manager (from F-Droid) to uninstall YouTube.
I restarted the phone, but I still get the same error.
Did anyone come across this and know how to fix it?
Thanks

Built in apps like youtube can uninstall updates by going to their play store page and press uninstall.
Did abit of googling. Have you tried this suggestion since u are rooted with magisk:
[CLOSED][APP][MOD][ROOT/NONROOT] Vanced
┤Mod Edit├┤Closing note. YouTube Vanced lives on in ReVanced (not affiliated with Vanced)├ ‼️Before asking or posting anything, please read the first and second posts.‼️ Always check the official Vanced website or XDA thread when downloading...

Yes I did. Use the magisk module named "debloater" and disable YouTube there.
Then you can install Vanced

I tried the Magisk module, I followed ALL the directions, but it did nothing. (I have no idea what I did wrong)
But I managed to finally remove YouTube with a debloated app from F-Droid (I think it's based on the Magisk debloater module, but I'm not sure...)
I finally was able to install YouTube Vanced!
Thanks
