I recently purchased Galaxy S10 lite, and till now I didn't face any issues. From yesterday night my phone's dialer keeps stopping whenever I try to open it. It just open up for a second and then stops working. I couldn't search through my contacts and not even able to make any calls, but I am able to receive calls though.
I tried restarting the phone, clearing the app cache and also tried force stopping the app. I tried all the possible solutions that I could think of, but none seems to be helping.
Any help would be appreciated!

Restore to factory settings. If it wouldn't help, give back phone to shop due to warranty.

I am experiencing the incorrect phone lock problem. After a soft reset, the phone lock code is not accepted no matter how many times I give it correct. I tried all the possibilities listed in the forums like taking out battery, using the red button on the back to soft reset, etc. I think the only thing I can do is to hard reset as there is no solution to this problem as of now.
Unfortunately I didn't enable automatic periodic backups on my phone. So, with a hard reset I am going to lose all my contacts, text messages and other data. I am not worried about losing them except the text messages, I desperately need them.
I would like to know if there is there still a possibility that I can backup or sync text messages and if possible the contacts as well. I tried using active sync with the phone locked, it didn't work. Hope someone could help me with this.

Has anyone encountered problems with the dialer?
I can punch in a phone # and press the green button to dial, but it doesn't dial immediately. There seems to be a lag sometimes of up to 30-60 seconds.
Also, sometimes I cannot hang up a call. I press the disconnect button and it just doesn't do anything.

i think that the same happened to me. the problem that I am having concerns the phone app on my razr. very, very often when I try dialing somebody, after hitting the the dial button, the screen where is shown a larger photo of the person that I am calling appears then it flashes and disappears (saying <call time 00:00>, something like when the call is terminated) then it reappears by itself after 2 or 3 seconds and the call continues smoothly. this is a very annoying problem, not being able to have control of my calls.
i don`n know what could have started this problem because everything was working fine, and still is apart from this issue. i`m not a skillful android user but i managed to root my phone (making all the necessary backups), then using some specific apps for rooted phones (like titanium, motomizer etc.) and every thing was OK. Lately i`ve installed a navigation program for android to my phone (iGO) but i`m not sure if by doing this, the problem appeared.
to solve this, i`ve tried everything: uninstalling all the suspected apps, factory reset, rolling back my system to a previous backup, updating my system version from 651.73.30.XXXXX.en.EU to 651.167.19.XXXXX.en.EU, cleaning the cache/dalvik cache. the problem still persists...
if you guys have any idea what could have caused this please guide me through a solution.

Been having some trouble with Whatsapp on my phone for a while now, I have a problem where no matter what I do, I can't complete my profile to actually USE whatsapp.
I've had Whatsapp on this same phone, uninstalled it about 6 months ago, and I've just gotten a new number in the past week so I thought I'd try and set up Whatsapp with my new number.
Installed fine, verified fine, the problem is that every time I get to the Profile Info screen that I can not skip, I can either only EVER do one of three things:
A) Try and upload a photo and have it close after three seconds
B) Press next and watch it say "Initializing.." then close after three seconds
C) Sit there pointlessly forever on the Profile Info screen and have it not crash
While it's not too much of a bother that it's not working, (seeing as I don't have any like, saved messages or anything) I would still like to be able to use Whatsapp if anyone knows how to fix this problem
Alright, now my phone, it's a Vodafone 845 (Yeahhhh I know I need a new phone) and I'm running the Fresh Zodiac Fruit custom ROM
Happened to me too once when I was messing with my phone and dirty flashed to a new rom. When I restored my old ROM, it wouldn't let me log into whatsapp and freeze at the initializing screen. I don't have a solution but my situation was fixed by factory resetting my phone (wipe cache/dalvik/system/so forth), installing a new version of the rom, verifying that whatsapp worked and then restoring my apps with titanium backup. I have a 7100 sg3. I factory reset because my friend got a hold of my phone while I was asleep and tried deleting bloatware. In the process he seems to have gotten rid of, or made to stop working, the app that keeps calls log, as well using the dialpad on the phone to dial a number causes the phone app to freeze and crash, afterwards it says contacts crashed. After a phone call is completed the phone freezes until a message pops up saying that phone.sec has crashed.I also can't install apps wether from the market or 3rd party apk.
I've checked all the files that are related to these apps and they're all still there. Though obviously not operating properly. Oh another thing is that when I go to the application manager it doesn't show me how m much memory any one app is using. Also can't clear cache data.
Any and all ideas will be appreciated, comments to factory restore will be scoffed at
first blue tooth connection. My phone connected for phone services just find but no for android auto. I called Honda and tech did a factory reset on the audio system. it did more harm then help. My phone still was not found for android auto. However now all my contacts and recent calls will not show up. I still can make and receive calls but I can no longer get messages or see my contacts. After factory reset every thing seems to be not working. any Ideas? no one seems to be able to help me with this. PS I deleted my phone and tried installed it again but still the same issues.
