Hey Peeps,
A Great XDA Dev @lebigmac has written a script that will allow us to have full Read/Write and Mount access while rooted on Android 10 devices. While it has had great succeess on Xiaomi devices, he's steadfastedly working hard on ensuring Motorola devices don't get left out.
So, I'm asking to the brave to come and test out his script and give feedback! It's really important so bugs and errors can be worked out.
I've been testing his script with my Moto One 5G Ace and we haven't been successful yet, but we need more Moto devices to compare where the problem may be at as to why the script isn't working for the Moto devices.
So please, come to his thread and try his script and report the findings. It would be a great help to make sure we finally get write access and mount access to our system files. TWRP and Non-TWRP users are both welcome.
Thanks.
The Script is here on XDA:

Thanks for sharing!
I have a moto g power 2021 bootloader unlocked and rooted. I have tried everything even the r/w files from all kinds of forums to get access on Android 10, 11, & 12. I can't figure out how to make the system read and write. I've tried the unofficial twrp and it doesn't have touch. I am on android 11 with the June security patch. I need r/w access to be able to edit the build prop and to edit my wifi and network properties. Any help would be appreciated.

First neither I or the creator of this script are responsible for what YOU do to YOUR device.
Second I take no credit for any of this with the exception of confirming it works on the Rog 3.
Passing this along to anybody who would like to remove the bloat on their devices or whatever you crazy kids are doin these days.
I had to use a twrp backup as the input, the super.emmc.win, to get it to work properly.

Has it worked for ROG 3?
@Rezrex thank you for confirming that my SystemRW / SuperRW script works on your device. Also thanks for spreading the word. The more people have full read-write access to their devices the better for the entire open source community.
Enjoy debloating and customizing your fully read/write-able device
Don't forget to make backups before modding stuff. One small mistake can cause bootloop!
Have fun!

stock ww131 backup in
and failed create super_fix =\
all ok
problem with _b slot size 0 bytes
1. twrp backup super
2. lpunpacking on phone this backup
3. move files from ./files/super/ on linux amd64
4. download and edit(fix) command line for lpmake from file ./myargs.txt
this new_super.img > fastboot flash super new_super.img
Automatic installation did not work for me, now the system doesn't boot with error fs_mgr_mount_all and data partition is shown to be 0Mb in twrp and can't be decrypted/mounted(invalid argument), how can i recover if I did not make any backups? /data was decrypted and mounted when i used the script.
edit: formatted, everything works now, good script

If you wanted to recover the data, if this happens again or to anybody. Changing active slots, oddly enough, makes the /data partition readable and you can back it up in twrp.

I rooted my device and tried to edit build.prop
But system partition (or folder) is read-only system, so i cannot edit the file.
Next, I tried the script in this thread

Please give me some idea.

sorry for late reply , because i tried to fix bootloop and its working now. when i put size=500 , sometime when i flashed the zip on TWRP , i got some errors
/system_root (no such directory)
missing vendor and data partition. after deleting super_fix.img
and sometime when almost finished it said that i dont have enough space.
Edit : I saw there some change after i flashed internal increased from 13GB to 19GB. but when i tried installing FlameApps-basic i still got sufficent size (with same size like before)
is there complete guide for it?

Thanks telling me about the thread. i'll try ask there .
This is not mine and i take zero credit for this, just reposting for anyone trying to get their /system remounted as read/write.
i followed manual installation and adb shell from pc to execute the script on-device and flashed the resulting super_fixed.bin renamed .bin to .img .........

once rooted, i just used adbLink for Linux via jocala.com. I simply fired up the program and once it was started, I would shell into my device and su so tthat it would switch to the rooted shell. Once there, I just switched to the adbLink program and said "mount RW" and it says it did it.. I'm not sure because I didn't verify the successfulness of it but I believe that worked as well..

hey man. So is there anything I'm supposed to flash before or after this super that's RW? Like I had to do with vbmeta when flashing a new boot.img?

Once youve disabled verity you shouldn't have to do that again.
But for reference when you flash vbmeta use this command:
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
PizzaG has tweaked this script and I'll post it when I get the chance
The link isn't working anymore
Will have to re upload. But in the meantime you can use the erofs2rw script now to generate your own RW super. There's one by neo but I prefer lebigmac's script myself. Honestly they tried to collaborate at some point but things didn't work out so it's nearly the same but lebigmac's script is my preference

you will have to find def-neo one searching here on xda or on telegram. this one worked great for me though. i have used both. both have their own pros and cons. i suggest researching as much info on them as you can learn before deciding which to use. honestly i think it just comes down to preference for me.
