Awsome, thanks!
Not April 1st joke??? THANKS!
Awesome! So glad to finally see this ROM. One question. Will TWRP 3.5.0_10-lake-v2 work with this it? It works great with Sakur.
I think I found a problem but not sure if it is build problem or A11.
There us no option to kill app with long press of back button.

We removed that feature for a number of development based reasons, sorry.
Does this reasons apply to mere mortals?
Let's hope no, because I find it quite useful.
Thank you very much! Installed it yesterday in combination with MindTheGapps and working great.
Only thing that I'm missing is the 'focus mode' which is part of 'digital wellbeing'. Could you tell me how I can get it? Couldn't find it in the Play store. I did install a separate APK but that doesn't make a difference. If I'm not mistaken, it is supposed to add an entry to the Settings section.
Has anyone done an upgrade from 17.1 to 18.1? Any issues when upgrading?
Why does the upgrade require sideloading, why cant it be done OTA?
The G7plus has a new maintainer with 18.1? Jleeblanch no longer?

I did that. No issues for the moment. But I'm not using GAPs.
Can't be sure why sideload is mandatory for major version upgrade, but I suspect it might be due to kernel change or some other major component that is incompatible with old system.
Chop-chop gesture is not working. Was working with 17,1.
Upgraded using adb sideload, everything working fine, except for Wi-Fi that won't connect. Got this in the logs, any ideas?

Everything seems to be running smoothly for me, except the vibration isn't working. Any way to fix that?

I can confirm that this is the case in 17.1- proximity sensor prevents a chop chop in our pockets
Is the vibration working in your case?

I think so. I have it when I'm typing on keyboard. Don't use it anywhere else.
Still no long press functionality on back button.
Installed 20210406 via twrp, bootlooped, did factory reset and AOK on 18.1. (XT1965-2)
Upper speaker not working in phone or recorder.
Lower speaker volume good.

Flash a rom that does...and copy the overlay pertaining to the function you need from /system/product/overlay/ directory to external card flash next rom then use twrp file manager to place the overlay in the same directory then set permissions 755 in twrp.... Boot run su terminal #cmd overlay list this will list all overlays on phone with stars next to what's currently used... Then to enable/disable type from su terminal #cmd overlay enable nameofoverlay.apk
Use disable instead of enable for disabling... Sometimes a reboot is needed to apply.....that's low level intro easy just follow the steps and as always back up first...this will modify system...if you don't want it permanent create a magisk module to inject the overlay systemlessly....

I just tested Dirty Unicorn's Weekly 9.6 on my Nexus 5. I didn't experience any bootloop. Is you signature still current about you using version 9.5 or are you currently using another version? I want to see if I can replicate this issue.
Edit:
Tested Weekly 9.6, Official 9.6, and Official 9.5 with no issues. All done with full wipes, re-installation of Xposed, and installation of module.

signature is outdated, I'm running weekly 9.6 (Aug 18th build i think). Had to boot into twrp and delete the app manually to get the phone to boot again
Excellent. Works with quick pic but can you make it work with stock samsung gallery app? Quickpic was sold to cm and dont want to use it now ?.

I can confirm this, phone was stuck at boot animation for nearly 20 mins then went to recovery and deleted apk and it booted fine, running AICP on Note 4, latest build.
I'm guessing this module doesn't work on Touchwiz ROMs either. I am using a TW 5.0.0 ROM and it bootloops when I enable this module too.
Doesn't work on my Oneplus running Blisspop 4.0 using Quickpik 4.5.2. The lock option doesn't appear inside the 3 dot menu.
Same as above but with the stock LG G3 rom.
Quickpic v4.5.2 doesn't shows the option to lock.
I apologize for the issues users are facing. I have set the module as experimental at the moment since individuals are reporting bootloops. I have tested four personal devices (Moto G, Nexus 5, Blaze 4G, and OPO) to have no issues. I am trying to nail down what may be causing issues for some, but sadly have been unable to reproduce the bootloops some are facing.
Nexus 5 latest Cataclysm. Bootloop. Does it matter if FIRST I started and configured the module (updated hooks) and THEN restart the device?
@iHelp101 Idk if I should call myself a idiot or whatever, but after failing on 1st attempt and reading your post that you tested it on 4 devices, I just out of curiosity thought to give it another try, this time reading the instructions properly. I realized that I updated hooks for Cyanogen gallery before (thinking the default gallery on my CM ROM would be Cyanogen gallery though it was Gallery3D upon checking my nick does tell that ) and maybe that caused me to stuck in a bootloop. This time tho I just installed the module and activated (read that hooks ain't required for Gallery3D n Quickpik so dint do anything other than activating) and it works like a charm now! :good: Thank you very much for this awesome module! :highfive::highfive:

Thank you for the positive message. I will try to reproduce these steps to see if the module causes a bootloop for me. If you are able to, once again updating your hooks for Cyanogen Gallery. Reboot and see if you get a boot loop again. If so I can nail it down to the way the hooks are stored (Via SharedPreferences).

I am trying to find the correlation currently. I apologize about this and promise I will find a resolution. If you are still in a bootloop use TWRP to delete the module located under /data/app/com.ihelp101.dontswipe.apk.

Any chance you could do the Wi-Fi mod separately, without the Indian network requirement?

I am using it on 5.1.11, works well. There must be some mod that is interrupting the command that is being run by this module at boot.
Can you try booting with just this module enabled and see if it works ?

Hi, another OP5T user here. Installing Magisk module did not enable DT2Camera for me as well.
Trying above three steps did make it work though, which means there has to be something different in OP5T for the module to work.

Is it fast and stable for daily users?
It's very similar to LineageOs and have the same issues, but yes, it is stable enough to use it for daily users.
I don't know if NFC payments are working fine, because I can't pass SafetyNet test so my bank blocked payments for my phone. I didn't have this kind of problems on LineageOs.
CrDroid has second issue - screen won't wake after notification (even if pocket mode in settings is unchecked). If you slide down phone then display will be properly waken. You can use Glimpse Notification to wake screen, but then edge lightning isn't working.
I'm having some issues with fingerprint, but probably it's caused by screen protector.
Oh, and probably there is an issue with notification light. It won't blink, it lights ups after notification and stops after waking screen.
Streaming music via BT is working fine (in other roms there are some issues). Slider functions (i.e. answer phone), camera, lte, wifi, etc. works too.
For now I only find above issues.

For the scanner to work well, you need to select in the "crDroid settings" -> "Lock screen" under "Behavior of the FOD when pressed" -> "Solid color". and enable fingerprint animation.
---------- Post added at 09:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:58 PM ----------
I want to notice such an unpleasant thing: At the first start, if the SIM card has a PIN code, it asks for it - but writes that it is incorrect, even if I enter the correct PIN code. I had to remove the pin code and reinstall it using the PUK code.
The default color profile is P3-7200. It very oversaturated the screen, colors become unnatural. To make them normal, go to Settings -> Screen Settings -> Live Display -> Color Profile -> sRGB-7300.
OTA updates are not installed automatically. After a reboot, TWRP gives an error: Error installing zip file: '@ / cache / recovery / block.map'. I had to export the update and install it manually.
---------- Post added at 09:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:07 PM ----------
And another thing: unlike ZUI, fast charging using the Power Delivery protocol (Type-C to Type-C) does not work here on this ROM. For some reason, when Quick Charge3.0 charger is connected, it shows that fast charging is not turned on, but the smartphone says about 36W fast charging. This is strange.

I think it should work when You disable Pocket Mode in settings. Give it a try.
It's connected with proximity sensor, if You slide phone down and then double tap screen should wake up (because proximity sensor won't be covered by anything). Disabling pocket mode just "skips" checking proximity sensor, but it's only workaround.
Hi.
Me and some other users find some trouble, not only on that rom but Lineage also – in any Gcam version or stock cam main screen show soapy photo like image comes from second camera lens. When photo is taken – result looks fine.
But if i make a video and make a crop result still look bad.
Any ideas? Maybe the best solution to block useless second camera lens?

MACsposedHistorically, setting a custom MAC address on Android was very easy for rooted users. Starting with Android 12, however, Google's implementation of MAC address randomization has made it impossible, as the MAC address is always changed when the network state is altered. If you have encountered this problem, then you need MACsposed! MACsposed is an Xposed module that blocks the MAC address randomizer on Android 12 and 13 and allows you to once again make use of your favorite tools for setting your MAC address. Simply install MACsposed, enable it, and go back to randomizing your MAC address using your favorite tools for doing so!
WARNING: MACsposed is intended for rooted devices running Android 12 or 13 and requires Xposed. The recommended Xposed variant to use is LSPosed. Other Xposed variants may work, but have not been tested. Additionally, this module cannot be guaranteed to work on all devices. In the worst case, it can cause a bootloop. Use at your own risk.
To use MACsposed:
Install LSposed. This requires your device to be rooted with Magisk. Installation instructions for LSPosed are available here.
Install MACsposed.
Activate the MACsposed module in the LSposed user interface.
Reboot your device and sign in.
Open the quick settings panel. The MACsposed tile will appear.
Toggle the MACsposed tile on or off to enable or disable it.
Use your favorite tool for setting a custom MAC address!
MACsposed is now open source on GitHub! - https://github.com/DavidBerdik/MACsposed

The changes that Google made to prevent setting custom MAC addresses from working were only introduced with Android 12, so this app is actually not necessary if you are on Android 10.
Is it working with the last version of Lineageos?

I have not tested this app on LineageOS 19, so I cannot say for sure that it will work, but since LineageOS 19 is based on Android 12, I believe that it probably will work. If you decide to try it, please let me know what your experience is like!

I am happy to let you know that I am writtimg on a changed MAC. It is working on Lineage 19-20220720-NIGHTLY-beyond2lte, G975F. The thing is that I had to switch to the Mac app I saw in your pictures, mine did not work.

That's great! I'm happy to hear that! Thank you for letting me know.
As for the app you used for changing the MAC address, I have found from my own experimenting that many of the MAC address changer apps that are available out there tend to be rather hit-or-miss in terms of how well they operate. Some of them were built for older versions of Android and haven't been updated in a really long time, and so, they were broken even before Android 12. Either way, I'm very happy to hear that it works for you!
MACsposed v1.1.0 with support for Android 13 is now available to download on GitHub. As of this posting, the update is still pending approval on the Google Play Store.
Hello! Can I tweak the module to run on Android 11? Tired of fighting! Wi-Fi is disabled in the settings and disabled in the developer menu. But the dastardly Techno Spark 7 still plays with the MAC.

Certainly! If you get it working, please consider submitting a pull request so I can expand the range of supported devices.
I should warn you that if your phone OEM has tweaked the Android code enough to randomize MAC addresses, it may not be easy to implement the change, as they've likely deviated from AOSP.

Well the current version is only intended for Android 12 and 13, so I'm not surprised to hear that. If you're lucky, you may be able to get it working by just dropping the minimum SDK version, but honestly, I doubt it. Might be worth trying though.
I do not know how to do it.

I made this one last night but wasn't able to get it working. Either I did it wrong, following phhusson wiki. Or there is more to it than putting it in /system/vendor/overlay and changing the permissions.

If you have Magisk installed, that's an easy way to install an alternative overlay apk, otherwise putting it in /system/vendor/overlay should work if the overlay is valid. Here's the overlay I made for myself along with the Magisk module I created in order to install it.

Custom AP is inconvenient
You should try TWRP or stock recovery path with fastbootd found
