LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11.0, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the changelog for a full list of changes & features.
What's working:
RIL (Calls, SMS, Data)
Bluetooth
Wi-Fi
Camera
Video Recording
Video Playback
Audio (Record and Playback)
Sensors
Flashlight
What's not working:
VoLTE and bluetooth calls (Blame Samsung for that)
Feel free to report any issues you may encounter with relevant logs
Installation:
Download the latest supported Lineage OS build
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data, system and cache/dalvik cache
Flash the LineageOS zip
(Optional) Flash arm64 gapps of your choice (NikGapps or BitGapps are recommended)
Reboot to system and enjoy!
Notes:
Eureka Kernel R5.0 is included with the rom
To pass safetynet, enable magisk hide in Magisk app
To use mtp, enable developper options and choose file transfer as default mode for usb configuration (This is a glitch on android 11 roms/gsi)
If you feel the sound is low, use audio mods like viper4android

This ROM is for A20
You won't be able to install this on A20e
@Gabriel260BR Do you have any plans to build Custom Rom for a20e? Maybe you'll just have to change target device to a20e, two phones are almost the same. (This rom booted on a20e)
Edit: All the hals and device specific files are in vendor partition. So there is no problem to boot this rom on a20e. Only diff is kernel

LTE is not working
Thanks a lot for the build..It is running really well..fingerprint works after reboot and also Netflix works as well.. for sim card not detected I think after reboot into rom we need to wait for 5 mins for the system to detect the sim.that how I was able to connect.i don't have any call issues.
The only thing bothering me is that when I make a call or receive call LTE drops to either 3g or nothing and can't use data while on calls..it didn't happen with pie..so no volte for me.i am sure how to get logs for this..
Which TWRP is working,? All of my TWRP ended with error 7.

It's probably because the magisk version works with root, but hasn't updated safetynet stuff (dunno the proper terms, haha)
Yeap, Iam those unlucky ppl. My Sim did not get detected. I still flashed for fun. Sytem UI, Device Personalization Service, and many other app was keep crashing. I went back to pie.

Thanks.
I have tested rom. It's working smooth. You really kept this tiny device alive so far!
This build is more smooth than lineage on some of the very recent devices.
About Banking apps - they won't work if a rom is signed using test keys. Thats why though unrooted lineage with gapps does not work with bank apps.
Thanks, @jeferson1979, for making this happen. Unfortunately, I just tested it, and the following bug still exists in 18.1: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/2678
I'll try 19.0 soon.

How to enable zram without root / magisk in lineage?
I have tried 'zram swap enable' magisk module, and less apps reload due low ram.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps) . LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.
I had a bit of inspiration and thought of developing for my old beloved Galaxy S5 Exynos which was sitting in the drawer collecting dust.
Now that we have a stable and official TWRP Recovery, next course of action was to build Lineage. Sadly, we were left on 14.1 and it never continued.
Hopefully I can build some stuff and update the device. Anyone can contribute to the project, all the help is welcome, we need it.

Build Compatibility:
The noted models are the only ones supported. If you have a model that isn't listed and ask politely then I might work to add compatibility.
SM-G900H ONLY!
Working:
Audio
HWC & Graphics
Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi Hotspot
Bluetooth, might be funky sometimes
NFC
GPS
Camera
Sensors/Rotation
Fingerprint, pro tip: register the fingerprint in the same way you try to unlock the device with fingerprint. We have a first generation sensor so be considerate.

I took up this and merely fixed a already working tree and adapted it to modern day stuff.
Hope I can build more stuff!

You need to select the 7.1.2 Android version not the Marshmallow. because the SDK is lower that the Custom ROM

anan bro great work on N4 exy! my question is can S5 exy able run latest android versions like its big bro N4?
Thank you very much for this excellent contribution! It would be nice to be able to update to Android 11, like all s5 models, but for exynos no one writes codes anymore, I hope you can do it!
