WiFi keeps disconnecting on S7+ BUC1 - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Questions & Answer

Tried everything I found out there, it still disconnects from both 2.4g and 5g WiFi every 3-5 mins. No issues with android 10, started to see this recently after forced updates to android 11.
Any ideas why is this happening?

You can either do a factory reset (if you already have created a backup of everything important), or flash the latest stock Samsung firmware manually (with Odin).

WiFi problem, anyone can help?

I have a i9300 international and since i upgraded from 4.0.4 to 4.1.1 i`m having problems with wifi. It keeps disconecting from router every 5 minutes and automatically reconects. I tryed everything from disabling things in advanced wifi to disable power save mode in *#0011# menu, keeping it ON allways. Than i changed the router, i modified settings in the router, disabled wifi security. Nothing works, every now and than (sometimes every 5 minutes) the wifi starts disconecting and reconecting in 2-3 seconds. It is verry frustrating. Is there any fix? Real fix?
Backup data and factory reset .
fails flash new firmware .

Ok, but it sucks cuz i have to format everything.
I agree with JJ.. Let us know how it goes
I've installed the custom rom Revolution HD 16 with 4.1.2 in it and it works great now. Done a full wipe, installed the rom and then deleted the cache and dalvik again. That was all, hope to never have that problem again. Oh, and the phone is more snappy too

[Q] Samsung Galaxy SIII (GT-I9300) International Crashing And Rebooting

Hi, I'm having a curious problem with my S3 and I've been unable to solve it. I watched the "noob" video and tried searching these forums as well as a google search with various combinations of the wording for my problem. Nothing matching my issue turned up, I hope I didn't miss anything.
I recently bought a S3 second hand (yes, i know, i should have known better). It was rooted and running some kind of custom ROM when I first turned it on, but I was willing to deal with it until I double checked the procedure for getting it back to stock and starting again myself (nothing against the original rooting and flashing, just like to know exactly what I'm running).
When I purchased the phone I obviously checked that all of the main things worked - calling, texts, mobile data, wi-fi etc. I get home and connect to my home wi-fi and start checking things out and setting stuff up. The phone randomly rebooted. I carry on after the reboot and about 10 mins later, another restart.
To cut a long story short, there is something wrong with the wi-fi. If I turn off wi-fi in the settings menu and reboot, everything works great. No crashes, no reboots. If however I enable the wi-fi about 50% of the time it will crash while wi-fi is activating. The other 50% of the time, it will crash as it goes into the screen lock (either via timeout or pressing the button).
I've re-flashed to it's stock version of Android (using the 'Samsung GS3 Toolkit and Odin), same problem. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance
You can try updating the modem and RIL to the right version for your country, search in general forum. If it still reboots then try with another wifi source - I've seen some routers cause problems on client machines.
If you do a factory reset when you flash the modem, plus you have the latest stock ROM on board, then any remaining problems are probably hardware.
Test it fully after the factory reset, before you add any apps etc.

After much experimentation and flashing of various files to my phone I have further narrowed the problem. I've still not solved it, but getting closer I feel.
After a clean ROM flash it works like a charm regardless of how much i use the wifi etc. It's only after the first reboot that the trouble starts. It will begin randomly restarting. If I perform a factory reset from recovery mode, it works again, but starts resetting again after a reboot.
Any ideas?

[Q] Encrypt phone, wifi unstable

Hello all,
I encryptet my Z2 phone, after that it takes several minutes to get wifi to work on my phone. Sometimes it get´s connected but drops it right away. After several minutes it managed to keep it and works fine. will work until I reboot the phone again.
Anyone else seen this issue? stock kernel and so on with version: 17.1.1.A.0.402
Been thinking of getting a new firmware and rom, but hard to get everything setup with getting a new rom. Been reading about fastboot and so on, also my win 8.1 won´t find my phone when entering fastboot, seen a issue about that too. Think I atleast have root though
Anyway, this issue is wifi for the moment.

Problems switching on Wifi on Galaxy S5 LTE (SM-G901F Android 6.0.1) Original ROM

Hello,
since a couple of days I experience a problem with my WIFI. The phone is neither rooted nor does it use a custom ROM.
When trying to switch on WIFI it turns into light green, then green and then it changes back to gray immediately. Same behavior can be seen when trying to switch WIFI on via settings.
This behavior appeared all of a sudden, I dont think that I changed something or installed a new app that could have caused that error. Maybe there was an update of an already installed app...
I then installed a terminal emulator and tried to start wifi via command line with
Code:
svc wifi enable
. That command immediately causes a message:
Code:
reset_reason_init
Killed
Wifi module seems to work. I've done
Code:
ifconfig
and it comes up with a usual result except it does not have an counters > 0
I've also tried another app called "Wifi Analyzer". That app seemed have no problems with wifi since it shows a huge number of networks around (but of course does not connect to them)
So, from my point of view there is an issue with Android that wont let me start WIFI. I think it is not a problem with hardware.
I really need my WIFI. I also tried do do a factory reset. But that doesnt help either....
Any ideas on how to fix that issue?
Regards
Olaf
Go to Sammobile. Com and download the firmware you are on currently on check this by booting to recovery mode or check in settings menu about
Once you have it downloaded flash it in odin to your s5 then everything will hopefully be working this is a small chance of lost data so backup any important data before you flash the firmware in odin
If you have any questions just ask

Not able to use internet continuously in poco f1

Hello,
I am not able to use the internet continuously. The internet works fine for 5 to 10 minutes and suddenly it stops. And if I do airplane mode off and on then again the internet works fine.
Kindly guide me through this.
Some of the things which you may know:-
1) There is full network showing in my area.
2) I have done the factory reset but the problem still persists.
3) My phone is updated to the latest version.
Thankyou.
