My device is not turning on anymore..
i did try all the solution with pressing the button in many ways, Both buttons for 30+ sec, only red button also and other trials. Nothing.
Then i opened the smartwatch and if i've disconnect the battery clip inside, After i reconnect the clip connection, the device started with Amazfit logo, then reach the watch time screen and after 1 second it flash the screen, then it turn off immediately. After that there is no way to switch the device on, the only way i found is this. PS: also connected in charge do not turn on.
The meaning is that the Smartwatch still working but i think there is a software issue,
There is any way to flash or reset by software the device? Any way to update it connecting to a PC?

This thread will be used to collect all the issues people are having with the watch and then have the solution for the problem right here so that they won't be asked multiple times. I will only list the issues with a solution available and I will keep updating this. Be happy to expand the list on your own.
So let's get started...
Problem:
The watch doesn't vibrate although vibration is enabled on the watch.
Solution:
Make sure the app which doesn't vibrate on the watch is set to vibrate on the phone.
-----------------------
Problem:
The screen stays on while charging even when the "always on" option is disabled.
Solution:
First place the watch in the charging cradle and then disable the "always on" option (this is more of a work-around and not an actual fix)
-----------------------
Problem:
Some sort of driver problem.
Solution:
Can be found here.
-----------------------
Problem:
Can't pair the watch with another phone after you have paired it with a different one before.
Solution:
You will have to factory reset it.
-----------------------
Problem:
The watch hung up while booting or similar and now it's stuck as you can't restart it.
Solution:
You can force a restart by pressing the reset button for 8 seconds.
-----------------------
Problem:
The watch won't boot when put in the charging cradle (with power plugged in).
Solution:
Try holding the reset button for 1 second. If the watch boots the cradle is broken. If it doesn't the watch is broken.
-----------------------
Problem:
Accidentally swiped away a card and now it won't come back.
Solution:
Do a google search (eg to get back weather search for the weather) or reopen the app if it was an app-notification. If this doesn't work check if the google now card is available on the phone. If that is not the case, just wait they will reappear (it can take quite some time though). If it shows up on the phone but not the watch, unpair the watch and then pair it again.
-----------------------
Problem:
Google search shows "disconnected" although the watch is paired and connected.
Solution:
Unpair the watch and then pair it again. If this doesn't work (sometimes it doesn't) restart the watch.
Awesome tips, buddy! Here's a few tips for people that aren't aware:
1) Mute (pulling the screen down from top to bottom): This will stop your notifications and vibrations, but they will be there when the watch face is touched. and also prevent your watch from turning on/becoming active when you move your arm around or lift it to the 40 degree angle.
2) Quick Watch Face Change: Without having to go to "Settings>Change watch face" every time to change your watch face, all you need to do is touch & hold your active watch face screen until it shows you the Watch Faces folder.
Hello everyone,
i got a problem with my z ultra and have tried looking similar problem on this forum but none of the solution seems working.
Please note that i have a stock phone, never did anything to it including unlocking rooting etc as i have no idea what it is, just casual usage.
So the problem occured when i tried to move an apps from sd card to my internal storage, and then my phone freezed midways,
the phone went unresponsive just showing the freezing screen.
Then i pushed the red button near the sim tray hoping the phone will reboot as i had similar problem before, and thought that it was just another minor problem and it worked.
But this time after pushing the red button the phone wont reboot again after i try to turn it on again using the power button, only a vibration but the screen showed no display whatsoever.
Ive been looking a solution on this forum with similar problem and there was a suggestion to connect the phone to power source and push the power and + vol together but there was only vibration thrice without indication of my problem has been solved.
Ive also tried a solution on youtube to disconnect the power cable, charge it to power source, wait for the Red LED to blink and reconnect the power cable again but it wasnt working.
Long story short after trying several method now my phone only blinking Red LED 3 times when i tried to turn it on, i tried to charge it to full but the Red LED keeps showing on even after i discharged it, so i had to push the power and + vol button to turn it off.
I suspect that my phone is hardbricked looking at the symptomps
Please anybody here could help me to fix it?
It's probably not hard-bricked.
Try this,
1, connect your USB cable to PC (without phone connected to it )
2, press volume up button and then plug in the usb cable to your phone
3, if light goes blue colour then you are back in business and you can still revive your phone
step 3 if successfull means your phone is up with fastboot mode and you can upload a recovery via flashtool
let me know your results ,
rgds
I was searching for a solution for my contact sync issue and I needed to reboot. After pressing reboot, the screen goes blank and I cannot boot again. Volume up + power doesn't work. Plug in power and the light didn't turn on. Even try to hit the tiny hole that looks like reset and that didn't work with. Help!
I am on official miui 9 with Google installer
Did you hold the power button for a longer time?
Yes, try holding the power button for some time. One time, after fastboot, it took around 90 seconds to power up.
there's a tiny hole that looks like a reset ????
did you poke the mic hole?

Hi Rioru, did you ever find a solution to your issue. After charging last night, suddenly I had exactly the same error. Which means I cannot boot the tablet, Power+Volume UP does not respond, charging LED not responding and after connecting to a PC I cannot not establish an ADB connection.
Thanks!

Hi,
so today i've got the Amazfit BIP, but it's not working.
The problem is that i can't pair it for the first time.
After i've downloaded the Mi Fit App i wanted to pair the watch and i'm stuck on the pairing screen with the green and the red button. The watch doesnt react to any touch i'm making.
I've already tried the other apps like GadgetBridge and NotifyFitness, but it's always the same.
Is there a way to restart the watch?
Thanks for your help!
1. press the physical button to enable the screen touching
2. press the physical button longer(like 10 seconds or more) to reboot the watch
Hi there,
thanks for your reply.
But this does not work.
Nothing happens, just the backlight goes out
So you have to wait until the battery is down. I can't find another solution
same problem here!
i have the same problem; albeit mine is a new one.
i purposely have it unpaired; and thought "re-pairing" Amazfit Bip with my phone would solve the problem.
I was dead wrong. And now I'm stucked.
The phone were able to "see and recognised" the bip watch. However, the "Green" affirmative button cannot be confirmed as the touchscreen is NOT RESPONDING!
hi there,
i returned my watch and got a new one.
this time it works without problems.
A few days ago, the watch ran out of battery, and I left it uncharged for a couple of days.
Then today, when I plug it into the charger, the screen started and showed the Amazfit logo, and it's been on the same screen for the last hour.
It wouldn't start normally.
So I tried to reboot it (press and hold top button for 10 to 30 seconds), the watch was turned off, but as soon as I released the button, the screen turned on by itself and got stuck on the Amazfit logo.
I noticed every few seconds (almost a minute), the screen blinked to show the logo again.
I tried rebooting while connected to the charger, same result (the screen turned on as soon as I released the button).
Same happened while connected to a PC.
Same also happened when I press and hold both buttons for 30 seconds.
Nothing I can do to make the watch to start again.
I'm lost.
Please help
I find that, when i open my Bluetooth settings, i can see the phone, in the Bluetooth device lists, but it wouldn't connect.
Please help
