Bootanimation is not changing in atvx v4 - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

I want to change the boot animation of atvxperience rom v4. I replaced the bootanimation.zip in /system/media/ with my new bootanimation.zip file. But the boot animation is not changing at all. Is there any other files I have to change?

In the vendor patition Build.prop, service.bootvideo=1 change to servive.bootvideo=0 as atvx used a video as bootanimation

MIUI Boot Screen

Where is it located? Id like to get rid of it and not have a boot screen.
I used Root Toolbox PRO for removing it. It worked like a charm.

Propably depends on a phone. I have it in /system/media/bootanimtion.zip
P.S. Removing the bootanimation will set the default android bootanimation (blue text of "android") << to remove this You should edit Your framework-res.apk

Thats fine as long as there isnt an animation. I have a friend with the same phone as I do and it takes his phone less than 10 seconds to boot. It takes mine around 5 minutes.
EDIT- Deleting the boot animation in the system/media folder didnt get rid of the boot screen.

So, in spite of my advise to read the whole OsBuilder topic - you continue your favorite job - create useless topics.
About custom logo - read here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19301165&postcount=86
Concerning custom animation - you should create custom mui containing graphic resources with new animation. Are you able to do that?

he put the bootanimation.zip inside the package to /system/media/
no need to tell you it must be a rooted device, right?
oops, said that.
Good move!
Finally! Please fix for Spring and Fifa as well pease!I have Xperia SP and this looks smaller.I've edited resolution according to my phone's resolution and it's not working.Note that:1)I've chosen two methods-unzipping and zipping again, editing when unzipped and updating zip 2)Flashing's not working properly-showing only 'android"-i have to copy 'bootanimation' into 'system/media'.

And you also need to change the permissions to rw-r-r for it to work. Flashing didn't work for me either.

[Q] Changing Boot Animation HTC One Max

Has anybody had any luck changing the Boot Animation on their One max? Ive tried manually and through the use of 3rd party installer, but no matter what, the default Boot Animation always loads. I was curious to know if anybody else has been able to do it

unlock bootloader and flash. works for me. i had a bad flash, rewrote boot.img. all worked fine.
Maybe we should clarify here. are you referring to the bootloader.img or the Boot Animation on startup of the Stock Rom?

My apologies Gentlemen. I just realized my thread title was misleading.
looking at your Avitar, that is understandable..
I know sprint use spcs_startup_animation.zip and htc_downanimation.zip or you can change the file name line in these xml files to just bootanimation.zip and downanimation.zip and any of them will just use boot and down animation.zip

Yea thanks, I figured there was a step I might have been missing. I went as far as to rename bootanimation.zip to htc_downanimation.zip but the rename alone didn't have any effect. I will try editing the xml files.
