Any one please tell me why some of the modded apps are crashing in huwavei /honor phones. Ex. Picsart and mx player etc
Because Huawei is already the last century, they have an outdated chip, unlike Samsung or Xiaomi.I ran into a similar problem when I installed new apps for myself, then my phone started to get very buggy)

I'm a little new to the whole android scene, so please bare with me
I recently rooted my HTC inspire and installed LCs IceColdSandwich. I'm currently on 1.4. Lately I've been having a lot of music app crashes. It started around the same time that I manually changed the default Music.apk. After that I would crashes on almost all of my media players (I have several because I'm still picking which one will be my daily player). I didn't notice these crashes until I changed this apk, so last night I factory reset my phone and reinstalled 1.4
Unfortunately the problem is still there. I'm bringing this up on the forum because I'm still not familiar enough to know exactly how to trouble shoot it. Do you think it is a problem with the ROM (I hope not, because I fell in love with ICS), or just the apps? I've seen this crash on Zimly (which is my favorite), Cloudskipper and Cubed. The only app that hasnt crashed yet is my trial of Poweramp.
Thanks

Hello
I have a MTK6589T device. It came with a pre-installed application "MtkVideoLiveWllpaper, apk" which allowed me to set my own videos (of my aquarium) as my wallpaper. It worked really well and played very smoothly.
I have since deleted this "system" app, and have tried to download a "video wallpaper" from the play store, but the two I have tried play very badly, they stutter, they are clippy etc.
I have no idea why that is, maybe the application needs to use specific hardware present on my phone whereas the ones from the play store do it in software.
Does anyone know how it works? In the meantime I will try to re-instate the MtkVideoLiveWllpaper but it came in two parts , .apk and .odex and am not sure how to "install" it.
Thanks
We have two Nabi 2 tablets that have both been running MX Player Pro (licensed through Play Store) for quite some time without problems. Last night I checked to make sure they were ready for a trip and found that neither would work.
About a month back Nabi released a patch for their OS which was listed as including Google/Android security patches. I don't know if MX has been updated after that update.
I reinstalled MX Player Pro on both tablets and received the following message:
Component files are corrupted or Android internal modules are not compatible with current version of MX Player.
I installed the non pro version with the Tegra 3 codec and they seem to be playing correctly. How can I get the pro features back?
Try downloading it directly from MX Player site:

Updated: So, I thought, that perhaps, the Pro version just wasn't asking for the Tegra 3 file and decided to see what happened if I installed regular MX, the Tegra 3 file and then MX Pro. Answer, it worked.
I then uninstalled MX regular...and Pro still worked. I then rebooted the tablet (just to make sure) and it still worked.
Should the status change you will know by my screams of pain as we make a long trip tomorrow and two boys without movies = one dad without sanity.

Hello, this is my first time to encounter this problem. I have a My phone Agua Rio Fun, a local Philippines smartphone brand ( android 4.2.2 )...running on a Google nexus 4 based custom ROM (android 5.0).
Yesterday, when I've downloaded this ROM and tested it on my android I'm satisfied with its performance.
But when I've downloaded YouTube (from play store) and update Google services, it seems that all videos in YouTube is in a fast forward with a sound on it...
All of my media player is working and it seems this is just happening in YouTube app. Please help me to solve this problem, also to know if the custom ROM is causing the problem.
idk what is this with the phone from xaomi redmi a1 only youtube is laggy and other apps are working fine
also i checked on other social forums everyone is facing this problem in some specific phones of xiaomi
