After updating 9.2.4 china stable in update app on mi pad 1 I decided to downgrade to miui 6 to get clean experience and better battery.
In mi recovery I cleared cache and then installed update.zip to system one as someone said it fixes bugs and runs new rom smooth. It indeed fixed the time taking to turn on wifi problem but battery started draining like hell(jumping from 70 to 55 to 42 etc)
Then I tried all other stock miui 7 and miui 9 but the problem now is battery INSTANTLY charges to 100 and discharges to 0.
With charging however it works normally but battery stuck at 100 and turn offs seconds after I unplug the charger
I checked battery connection is well with motherboard and its not swollen and with usb connected to pc (which charges very slowly when it was good) when I heavy use it it stays for a lot of time.
Please help me with this issue asap.

Okay so , Yesterday night when i was using my phone it was on 15% and suddenly screen starts flickering like crazy and suddenly shut downs.
I try to charge it again but after reboot it stayed to 0% even after hours of charging so i rebooted it again and in Custom recovery (Apollo 5.1 regular) it shows 100% battery so i rebooted it again and removed the charging and after 10 minutes it started again dropping like crazy from 100% to 58% and constantly dropping until it switches off itself.
Now it's again on charging it and AGAIN it shows 0% charging and no matter how much time it'll be on charging it will be 0% and after a reboot it'll show 100% and this cycle continues .
It seems like it never shows original charged battery percentage.
1) I have already tried wide data factory reset and flashing the same ROM again still no help.
2) There is no software problem i could think of as phone is functioning fluid enough it's just battery issue.
3) It happened 11-12 months before also and the motherboard got dead suddenly and i have to get it replaced i wish if again it's not an hardware issue which come suddenly .
Rom- CM 10.1.3 (4.2.2) official last stable build
Current kernel- CM default
Meanwhile I'll be checking the phone by using Neat ROM and changing battery
THIS problem is very common to many galaxy s2 users and still there is METHOD or SOLUTION provided which is very surprising even after so many users with this problem.
Could any one help me , this is literally frustrating.
EDIT- Now the scene is ,even on NEATROM(Jellybean 4.1.2) it constantly start draining until 0% and shuts off itself ,like i do nothing while after pitting off from the charger when it shows 100% just like a progress bar it runs backward from 100% to 0% . DAMN , Help me.

Could be a faulty battery. Try changing to a new one
It sounds like the rom is the culprit. Try to calibrate the battery with the Battery Calibration app from playstore otherwise, install a different rom.

Phone will loose some battery on every restart as every thing then needs to be initialised once gain
Not sure for others, but I just had MIUI rom installed and I found that the battery level reporting is flawed.
I fully charged my phone then leave it on the table (I am not using it at all) for 10 hours, and it is still showing 100%.
try battery calibration app by nema from store install it charge to 100, then drain it then charge.
I have the next weard Problem. After I buyed a new battery, original Xiaomi, at Banggood, I have a new battery Problem. My Phone is Powering of at 10% and when I Power it on again, it works fine, it's only really annoying. Does someone of you maybe know a fix?
Redmi Note 2
Miui 8 Stock From
NO xposed
Root
Thank.you, Philipp
Flash fresh stock ROM , let it boot, don't setup device, put it off , charge to 100% while off, while still in charger turn it on setup details . Turn off GPS reduce brightness, once all updates done . use device normally , dont run games music or GPS / Google maps , just basic use till it reaches 0% , this will re-calibrate your battery. i did that and now my RN2 goes all the way to 0% , battery is 1year old but still good , stays for 30min on 1% before it dies. hope you are using global MIUI 8 Latest.
Hi to all Vince users,
my fully charged of my phone is 97% only! why??? I would unplug my charger and charge again to reach 100%.
Any idea? pls help.
thanks a lot!
I think you should go to the warranty center to fix this, I just repair and get a new battery
Have you installed any custom Rom?, this question is because sometimes when installing custom Roms this situation is common to happen. In some cases flashing a STOCK ROM with MIFLASH tool solves that issue.
Have you idle battery drain too?
It was after flashing custom roms?
This thread can help:

i solve it with unplug then plug again cable battery connector
Yes bro. Im using AEX and Dotos before and now Im using MIUI 10.
Now Im Calibrating my Battery
Im doing that recently. 97percent charged
my phone is not faster to drain. my only problem is not reaching to 100 percent. it stops in 97. I think I need a battery calibration.. what do you think Guys?
As you used custom roms maybe the problem is the same although without battery drain.
Disconnect and reconnect battery will solve it but you have to take off back cover
I think bug oin miui 10.
It's not a bug in miui 10. I'm using it and it didn't happen for me since I opened back cover and unplug battery connector. I also did test point flash but others in the forum said it works with only physically disconnect battery without test point (back case opening required anyway)
Had this proplem too, not charge to 100% (in any rom, miui 10 included) but my problem was worst, the phone always shuts down at 20%. Did disconnect the battery 2 days ago, and the problem is solved now.
Hi guys, today i was charging my Redmi Note 9 Pro and I observed that it stopped on 86% (it said charging) and waited for like 2-3 minutes and it didn't change, and I read about battery calibration so I downloaded first app in google play and calibrated it (with root, I have magisk), now it charges normally.I also read that I need to wait for 2-3 weeks to see the battery working properly. Is it ok if I calibrated it from 82% ? Or is it better to calibrate it manually without any apps?
Now my battery discharges faster than before, I mean not from 100% to 50% in 10 minutes but a bit faster discharging
P.S read this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/xiaomi-redmi-note-9-pro-question.4329433/ that I did from my second account (read Question 1) in it I said that I flashed stock miui rom maybe this is the problem (incorrect battery status)
