I am using OpenCamera for years now on custom ROMs. With the last update a few days ago, OpenCamera has got the ability to switch between different camera sensors for modern devices. I'd like to ask you, if OpenCamera
is functioning properly with this new feature on Redmi Note 9 Snapdragon variants ?
Thanks in advance !
This GCam works with all lenses apparently. It's called TrCamera (Version 5).

Best gcam I have found is: https://1-dontsharethislink.celsoazevedo.com/file/filesc/MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1i_snap.apk
All cameras are working nicely, no issues that I have found. Based on google camera 8.1
Is there a version of this camera that reduces color saturation? Some that take photos with more natural colors?

Just change saturation yourself in settings for the lenses you wish. You can tweak every setting to your liking.

I tried this one, works fine (especially the 4k60, which phone is obviously capable of), except for the Night Sight, the photos are so bad in that mode, much much worse than stock Night mode. Which is already by far the worst aspect of the camera on this model. I hope improved GCam comes out that doesn't mess the Night Sight.
Nice cam. Really like the 4k60. But the image stabilisation isn't working for me. Any specific config file I should be using?

Bsg gcam should detect the macro sensor automatically but if not find the camera id in app like Device Info HW and enable it in gcam settings.

Thanks for the links, I tried the BSG version but viewfinder is lagging in photo mode (and pretty smooth in video mode) . Quality is nice, HDR+ pictures are much better than the stock app HDR pictures.
Sadly BSG don't work for me with the secondary wide-angle camera, only main back and front

Like the review of gsmarena, you have better results without HDR mode, also 50 mp mode is useless it justs increase the size of the photo but not its quality and details.
Gcam has a good hdr, also it doesn't apply some sharp effect on night photos. I think they will improve the stock camera in the future like they did for their other phones
These photos are with Gcam astrophotography mode, and it was 3 am, in the dark, the "dawn" effect is caused by the cities around but it was barely noticeable with human eye
