Hi! First of all, thanks for this great rom! I would like to inquiry about what should I do if my phone freeze? Because I tried every keycombination and I unable to force shutdown or reboot it. My phone is Realme 6, (RMX2001) and I using the latest official build. I dont want to disassemble it and disconnect the battery if for some reason the os freezing. Thanks in advance for the answer.

This is not that answer what I hoped . The os will not freeze until you mess up something, like I did the first time with the version 2.6. I got a boot loop and I couldn't do a reboot or get into the recovery with power and volume down. I had to take it apart and remove the battery because of the lack of force reboot/power off keycombination. So yeah, as I said I tried every keycombination but none of them works and I think this is a major issue.
By the way, as a developer sayin it is not too professional to say that "the os will not freeze" to a ported os I think. Even factory systems crash. That is why these key combinations were invented, like force reboot.

Well, you can force reboot by power+volume down it'll force boot you to recovery and also there is no button mapped fastboot on realme 6 series for emergency

Hi i would just like to share my experience with this phone when it boot loop and when
it even refuse to switch on due to software issues.
1.For force shut down just press power + volup +voldown(hold)
2.For recovery press power + voldown(hold)
And incase you hard brick your phone like when your phone does not turn on at all just press and hold power + volup and however when it still does not boot to os and turnoff immediately after the logo then don't worry just connect your phone to pc and do an ' adb reboot bootloader ' it will boot to fastboot then you can restore file which you mess up earlier
Sorry for the late info
Not able to check for OTA Updates..
it always says l, "please check your internet connection"
phone is not rooted and it's encrypted as well..
Double checked the internet it's working fine for everything else..
Yes, there is a ota issue on most of the PEX devices will try looking over it

Thanks for the info, but like I said I tried every keycombination but none of them works for me. But now, I know, this issue maybe related with the kernel, because I replace it with an older one and the volume up + power reboots the phone. However, the camera does not work.

Android OS version: 10.0.0_r37
Security patch level: June 2020
Device Maintainers: baalajimaestro & idkwhoiam322
Device Source code: https://github.com/PixelExperience-Devices/device_oneplus_guacamoleb
Kernel Source code: https://github.com/PixelExperience/kernel_oneplus_sm8150
Source code: https://github.com/PixelExperience
ROM Developer: jhenrique09
How to flash?
From any ROM, including OOS:
- Grab the latest latest Rom by going to the official Website (https://download.pixelexperience.org/guacamoleb).
- Grab the latest OOS release, OB13 as of writing (OB14 firmware has a bugged fingerprint)
- Grab TWRP (prefer the unofficial variant) from here
- Grab adb platform tools from here
- Extract it, add the folder to PATH, if you donno how to add something to PATH,
Windows: check this
Mac & Linux: export PATH="whatever-is-the-path-to-your-adb-folder:$PATH"
- Ensure you have backed up your data and/or you are already unlocked.
- Ensure OEM Unlocking is turned on.
- Boot your phone into fastboot. It would a show "START" with some details about your phone.
- Connect your phone to the PC with the USB-C cable, and see if its recognised when you type
Code:
fastboot devices
- If it does, just type
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
- You would get a prompt on your phone, that if you are sure to unlock the bootloader. If sure, navigate with the volume buttons and hit a yes.
- If your unlock succeeds, your phone will wipe itself, and boot back into OOS.
- Reboot it again to fastboot and connect your phone to the PC.
- Now open up the command prompt, and check if
Code:
fastboot devices
shows up a connected device.
- Issue these commands on your command prompt
Code:
fastboot boot path-to-your-img-file
- Once this is done, TWRP should welcome you with warm greetings.
- Just, go ahead to the wipe section of twrp and press format data and type yes.
- Once you are done with the format data, just go ahead and connect your phone to PC.
- If you need f2fs for data partition, go again to the wipe section and manage/repair partitions, select data, and change it to f2fs.
- You might need to reboot, and go back to fastboot, and boot into twrp.
- Now transfer the ROM zip and OOS zip to the internal storage
- Go to twrp, locate your OOS zip, flash it.
- Similarly, locate your ROM zip, and swipe to flash it.
- Once you are done, reboot and you should be on PE.
If at all you fail to install, I would be available on this chat to help you out!

Plus build has a bit more features than the normal edition. Even yet you cant expect something like Havoc to pop-up, its a few customisations alone we added there.

Hi! I've tried many custom roms for the OP7, but they all have issues with wifi connection (cannot connect to 5gHz; frequent drops on 2.4gHz). Does this rom have this issue? Also, may I ask if ''ok google'' with screen off is supported, like stock OOS? Thank you.

I thought that the assistant 2.0 was still a pixel exclusive... I've done a quick web search and it seems that none of the Oneplus' devices received assistant 2.0... Could you please explain better?
Anyway, any feedback on wifi?
Thank you
USB Tethering
Hi, I would like to inform that USB Tethering does not work. Thanks
What about the automatic brightness and other sensors.
I have tried many custom roms and on every rom the common issue is the automatic brightness.
can confirm, Fingerprint not working on ob13 with PE plus edition.
On adding fingerprint at installation or later via setting, Screen flashes every time you put your finger over the scanning area, but there is no progress bar to indicate whether it is working or not.

I don't mean to push at all .
But it is strange that we heard nothing from dev.
I hope Fod will be fixed soon .
And of course if dev need tester . I am in for good.??
Still a lot of problems apart from the non working fp.
Current issues :
1) erratic auto brightness ( alternating between dim and bright in every 3-4 seconds )
2) trouble with the data connection ( not getting any network from sim1 after a while, switching data sim or restarting device did not having any effect , had to manually switch the sims from their slots.
3) yet to make a detailed observation but battery life seems to be far less than oos
Tried this rom, problems I faced
1. Finger print not working ( used oxygen is 10.3.3 stable and Open beta 13)
2. Screen auto brightness not stable
3. Battery life is not good.

Has anyone tried a 3rd party launcher on this rom or any android 10 rom , if so does one button navigation work properly. I'm on official stock 10, but heard its an android issue and not a Motorola issue so probably won't get fixed (assuming one button nav isn't just a Motorola option)

If I can find the atoms dolby works great
This rom on my T-Mobile G7 Power doesn't have any mobile data.
Edit : The fix for me (while I don't like having to start from scratch again), was to install the stock rom/image from here ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/g7-power/how-to/guide-moto-g7-power-supra-flash-to-t3927138 , using the latest TMO image), boot into it, verify LTE works, and then install Pixel Experience, using all the files specifically for PE, including recovery (previously I had LineageOS 17.1 installed, and was using TWRP to get that done).
Currently in the process of setting the phone back up, but mobile data was connected and shows LTE+ in the start when I opted to use mobile data for setup.

I meant that this ROM is a purchase incentive for the X3 - i.e. PixelExperience is so good that I might buy the X3 if the feedback for this ROM release is good.
So keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to your first users' feedback posts. :good:

I will look at this
Which app is working for FM Radio on this ROM?
So far working good for me!
I haven't done much testing, but the only small bug I noticed is if I'm watching a video on YouTube, press full screen, and then try to rotate the phone to view in landscape fullscreen, it exits fullscreen mode.
Shout out for the good work with this rom!
My experience (no pun intended) so far is surprisingly good. I was expecting at least some bugs that i've always came across with even PE stable builds in my past devices (unreliable proximity sensor during phone calls and BT pairing with iDrive 6 with the MiA1, RN5, MiA2 and RN7), but no. Everything seems to work just fine for my surprise. Thanks a lot!

No, at least not for now.
When goes official to your device?
Does google pay work without Magisk? It passes safety nets? I don't need root.
Hello, actually on latest miui rom, followed the steps as told on the given link, on first post, but it's buggy as hell on the setup steps at first launch, dunno if it's only me, but here what I did:
- installed latest orange fox recovery (alpha 6)
- booted on it
- flashed latest miui eu through recovery (12.0.3.0.QJGEUXM)
- reboot to recovery again
- flashed pixel experience rom
- factory format (The format data step is not so clear, I tried only the data partition as well, with or without flashing dalvik)
- reboot to system
When I'm at the system step, the "search for updates" usually makes the phone reboot, it's taking a loooooong time to pass this setup steps.
I finally managed to pass the setup steps, but it took me more than a hour to pass this.
I'm pretty sure it's a pebkac, not the rom at fault or else, so if you have any idea on what was my mistake, I'm taking any advice here
PS: Also tried with twrp, tried to flash mieu eu rom from recovery, and from fastboot, etc...
EDIT: Also, thanks for reading my question and for the work here, I love pixel experience rom, would love to have it on this phone

Great Job,
Hi, I tried installing this rom on my samsung a205gn using twrp recovery. I wiped dalvik, cache, data and system. Then I formatted the data and typed yes. After this I flashed this rom. It seemed to have flashed successfully. But after rebooting into system, the phone just turns off and doesnt show any lights and won't boot. I can long press down and power button and it brings me to samsung logo saying that the bootloader is unlocked. But after pressing the power button again it just turns off. I hope you can help me.

I am also having this issue with most of A11 Roms, and only A11. I have installed DotOS 5.2 back in July and it booted successfully, fast forward last month I have installed it again and I was thrown into a bootloop I fixed it by installed R9 Kernel. I have tried to fix this by doing so but it didn't work for me, maybe I have done it wrong but you can try and see for yourself it could be that it requires a certain Kernel version to be installed before it boots.

Thank you, I totally forgot about this thread. I actually managed to fix it. 2 days after getting bricked, the phone somehow got its battery completely drained, and when I plugged in the charger, for some reason the phone booted into twrp. I managed to get to download mode and flash the stock rom.
Currently, I'm using the crdroid android 13 rom on this phone. Apparently you have to flash a file called dm verity force encrypt or something after flashing the os to not get a bootloop.

I do that i have a universal file I use after every rom installation. But i'll dig into it even more later. Also there is a fix for that without having to wait until the battery is drained. I found it on a Telegram group:
BSOD - Black Screen Of Death !
You can't go into download or recovery mode? Well then, you are stuck in BSOD.
Note: your phone is turned on but the screen is off (black)
How to fix:
* Connect a usb cable to your pc but don't connect it to your phone yet!
* Force restart your phone by holding all buttons. As soon as you press buttons, start counting.
The phone will vibrate about on the 12 secs
* Now, when your screen is black, hold all buttons and count again. When you reach 11 secs, quickly release all buttons and hold power + vol down + vol up buttons. Also connect the usb cable to the phone.
Your phone will then boot into download mode where u can flash stock firmware again.
P.S: It's hard to get the right timing. So you have to keep trying till you are able to get it else you have to wait your battery to be 0% so that it turns off automatically..
Sir i'm an a20 user and i'm in need for an AOD for my phone. Cought you please extract me the AOD app from the rom,I want to install it on my stockrom via package installer. (Please)
what downlead is it. on curseforge under a20 there are 3 folders names T S and R. what one is the correct one for a205yn?

Great job!
Once Android 12 Pixel Experience is released is there any chance of the ROM being updated to Android 12?
I will give this a try soon (a few days or maybe a week) and report back if stuff doesn't work.
Edit: Bad wording that made me sound mean.
Edit 2: I will try this ROM starting on Wednesday 12th January 2022, I need to get my driving test and revision over and done with first.

thanks. sure, once a12 is stable enough imma go a12 based rom. im new to build & compile a custom rom and still learning how to make a good one.
feel free to give some feedback, and report some stuff
does this work for Xeria 1?
can u make one for Xperia 1 j9110 that would be of great help.
Many people like me are waiting for ROM for Xperia 11...
Does google camera work in this rom and can it be updated?
This ROM looks really good and it's nice to see that we have a custom ROM with current patches and passing SafetyNet test! Unfortunately, I really want to have as less Google software on my phone as possible, so Pixel Experience is not my way to go.
Could you also create a different style of Custom ROM like LineageOS, as the existing X5 ROMs did not get any update and their creator is rarely online? That would be an absolute dream, an actively maintained LineageOS with passing SafetyNet test.

No, I haven't tried it yet. It says that user need 'Unlocked Bootloader:Yes' status on Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status

You mean "Bootloader unlock allowed"? That means that it is possible to unlock the bootloader of your device but you still need to unlock. Maybe you want to provide a screenshot?
My device unlocked device is currently running LineageOS, so I unfortunately can't check what is written there as soon as the bootloader is unlocked.
But usually, if you don't unlock your bootloader, it is still locked. You also get a warning every time you start your device that it cannot be checked for corruption. If you don't see that message, you device is locked.

Xperia 5 J8210
Hi there, so as a newbie, I've got myself into a right mess!
I Wanted to enable Ethernet over USB but Android 9 that came with the phone doesn't support. I couldn't immediately see any standard custom roms so I compiled AOSP from scratch following the instructions on developer.sony.com. Flashed the resulting images across and it resulted in the phone not booting. I've managed to install TWRP but I'm unable to install any custom ROMs including PixelOS referenced in this thread. When I go to install in TWRP it always immediately fails with "Error installing zip file '....unofficial.zip'. When I put TWRP into ADB mode and use adb sideload the transfer fails immediately.
This is the same for any zip file I care to install. Any suggestions, I've a feeling something underlying is wrong, not least the opening statement in this thread which says "Make sure you come from Official Android 11.0 from Sony".
Oh boy... help would be most appreciated.
Many thanks.
