Hi guys, my daily driver rom is the SmallEui. One day I can't unlock my phone by fingerprint, so I check it in the settings and I delete all registered fingerprints but when I add fingerprint it said "Try again" at the top. So I can't register. Tried to capture in camera using fingerprint but it didn't work. I tried to format device, flash Smalleui again, but still in the setup wizard can't recognise fingerprint always says "Try Again"My question is, Is this a software or a hardware issue? is there anayone have same issue where they cant add fingerprint and theres a "Try Again" displays at the top?. I saw some thread about the fingerprint issue but do you guys have the "try Again" notif too?

It seems that I have some options grey'd out. I am currently using a Pattern.
I had to delete my credential storage (had my pad setup to connect to work email and the policy didn't allow face unlock). Then all the options were available but I wouldn't do this if you have policies for Email or vpn and so on.

I can use fingerprint on MIUI but can not setup Fingerprint on any AOSP ROM like RR mokee lineage.... and it prompt:
Enrollment was not completed
Fingerprint enrollment didn't work.
Try again or use a different finer.

TWRP or File manager
reboot to TWRP
go to your file manager and go there /data/system/user/0
and delete theses files ./fpdata/user.db, settings_fingerprint.xml
reboot and set up your new fingerprints , it should work now.

I reset my phone and that message keeps popping up. I've selected the "reset phone" option, reflashed the rom, and even wiped he data again yet it does the same thing. I'm running the latest build of Resurrection Remix.
Edit: I finally got it to work by formatting the data. However, what I want to know is what exactly caused this issue? And is it possible to recover the data I deleted anyway?
What I understood from my experience is that if you set a PIN or password during the first setup then your phone will be encrypted.
Simply skip this step during setup and check if device is shown as decrypted in the security settings.
You can add a PIN later.

I tried selecting all of the possible account options, disabling wifi / 4g but it always shows this error. If i type in wrong password i get the error that password is wrong. If data is correct i get this error.
Has anyone seen this before and knows how to fix it?

I am using redmi note 4, and i have got a update today, but still I am noticing that none of the update for Android pie is working for the fingerprint fix.
As it is seen in the screenshot, when I'm going for add a fingerprint it clearly says me that there is an enrollment error when I tried with the different versions of Android pie to enter my fingerprint even with the freshly flashed ROM along with Gapps, I find this to be an error so I forcibly flashing the Android 8.1 ROM and then flashing the update of this ROM for my fingerprint to work.
I request for immediate correction for this error.
