Try any one of the popular security apps currently out...such as... Lookout, Avast, Norton, NQ, AVG, not sure but MAYBE McAfee, Avira, Webroot, B-Secure Tracker, QuickHeal Mobile Security, Vipre, TrackMyDroid, GPS Tracking Pro, GRIP Security, CMC, Symantec, 12Track..... Again that is just a FEW of whats available lol....and so ya know EVERY SINGLE one of these tracking/security apps can be found in the Google Play Store... I hope that this helped ya put in someway bubba...take care
Thanks
I went with mspy.com pro plan. will let you know how it works
iKeyMonitor is worth trying
iKeyMonitor is a great invisible spy app for Android. It offers free version for testing. I suggest you have a try!:victory:
I need a download link.
I'm using a Nexus 4 and trying to get rid of all the Google tracking services and their built-in Android background communications with Google servers. I have already searched the internet and found a few articles about this, however most of them were outdated or didn't answer my questions.
I do like the look and feel of stock Android, which is why I would probably go for CyanogenMod for this. In an optimal world, it would retain its current look and feel, but without communicating with Google.
My questions that I currently have pretty much are as follows (when using CyanogenMod):
- is it possible to keep using SOME Play store / stock apps but taking their permission to send information to Google? For example, I still want to use whatsapp and I doubt I can find it in the F-Droid store, or perhaps i like the Google camera app, and so on
- is it possible to turn off all Google tracking services (obvious things such as Google Now, but also the less obvious, like the constant hidden communications with Google servers) using CyanogenMod?
Hello Friends,
My name is Ivaylo and I am new to the forum. I decided to make a registration, because I wanted to ask for some help from you guys. For the past few weeks, I have been looking for an app that can help me protect my personal information (Facebook, Phone gallery, Call logs, etc.) on my smartphone (currently using Samsung Galaxy S5). I have tried quite a few free apps from Google Play such as AppLock, Smart AppLock and the like. Among those, I came across this app called Privacy Ace. To be honest, I liked the design and interface of Privacy Ace. Both very pretty simple and user friendly. On the other hand the other apps I tried (i.e. Smart AppLock) offer more features (i.e. 'Observer' feature; if someone tries to access your phone and enters the wrong password a few times, the app takes a picture of that person and later on you can see who has tried to break into your phone). However Smart AppLock, for example, has kind of a clustered interface. It was really difficult for me to find out how to use the various features of the app. I really got frustrated while trying to figure out how to use it. I am not the most intelligent person, but I know how to use smartphones, if you know what I mean. Still I am looking for something that is simple to use and can get the job done.
So my question basically is: has anyone else tried Privacy Ace and is it any good? How is the app performance-wise? Should I give it a try? Feel free to suggest other apps of the same type too.
Thanks for the help in advance
Cheers
Ivaylo
I try to put everything on my google play wish list, so if I uninstall the app and delete it from "myapps" on play store I can always find it via my "wishlist". Sometimes I forget to put it on the wishlist before first install.. After I uninstall it I have no "add to wishlist" link how can I put that app on the wishlist - is there a hack for this?
I read in the forum that Google Play store has a hard limit on it's wishlist - (2708332) as well and I know the way I use the wishlist is probably not what Google Play intended but this is the simplest way to track apps - right? What I would really like is a way of tracking and sharing Android Apps similar to what you do with Mozilla collections for add ons so I can group apps in my own custom category lists. When I need to install them in the future I can find them from my own custom lists without using the brain damaged play store search. Is there anything out there that can let me define custom lists of apps I occasionally want to install , use and uninstall on an ad-hoc basis ?
