Mobile Hotspot in quick dropdown - LG V60 ThinQ Questions & Answers

My LG V60 T-mobile is missing the quick toggle for Mobile Hotspot, has this been removed? I looked and the only place it is, is the traditional menu.

[Q] mobile data toggle widget

is there a working widget that toggles the mobile data on the atrix?
Give 3g watchdog a go
Pretty good for watching your data usage as well
IIRC you should be able to disable 3g from the wireless and networks page inside the android settings menu
Swyped from my captivate
The quickest way I found is if you add a Launcherpro shortcut -> Activities -> Data Manger -> the first choice under this selection (DataManagerAppPreferenceActivity). This links to Data Delivery preferences and you can enable or disable mobile data

How to integrate 4G toggle into Widgetoid?

I followed advice in another thread about getting Widgetoid to toggle Data. That worked great, but it doesn't toggle 4G. Widgetoid has an option for 4G toggle, but it's grayed out. I've tried using Tasker, but that didn't work either.
Of course, Motorola 4G widget works, but it sticks our like a sore thumb compared to the rest of my widgets. Can anyone offer advice on how to integrate a 4G switch into Widgetoid widget panel?
Thanks
Add a shortcut under Shortcut > Application> choose '4G Stats'
You can change the icon to the '4G' icon to make it match. That should do it.

Shortcut for WiFi hotspot?

Is there any way to put a shortcut to WiFi hotspot on the home screen or the Quick Settings bar?
The G4 was nice in that it had one in the Quick Settings when you pull down from the notification bar. That was nice, but I cannot find a way to add that to the G5.
Any suggestions?

Not on my phone. I have the Sprint G5, which one do you have?

Hi Guys,
Got the phone today. Anyone got wifi calling working?
Ordered the phone from Amazon germany. I'm on EE in the UK. Not getting any options under call settings.
Thanks
VOLte seems to be available on my device (Belgian LG G8X)
I can't say if it works though...
Where is the option for that? Love the phone. Getting a really good battery life. But gonna have to send it back as no wifi calling.
From the Home screen, tap the Phone icon Phone app icon (lower-left).
From the Dial or Recent tab, tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-right).
Navigate: Call settings > Wi-Fi Calling.
Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
Note If turning Wi-Fi Calling off, tap Turn off Wi-Fi Calling when prompted.
Note If activating Wi-Fi Calling for the first time:

Can you disable 5G on a Verizon V60? I only want 4G LTE/3G/2G connections.

I don't want to use the 5G antenna. When I navigate to:
Settings
->Network & internet
-->Mobile Networks
--->System Select
---->Network Mode
The Network Mode screen options are Global, LTE/CDMA, and LTE/GSM/UMTS. No matter which of those I select, within a few seconds, 5G shows on the top of the phone screen in the notification/status bar.
If I select LTE/GSM/UMTS, there is a Network Submode menu, which gives me 3 options: LTE/Legacy 3GPP multi, GSM/GPRS/EDGE only, and UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+. The bottom two options dont seem to work at all. The top one still says 5G in the notification/status bar, even after restarting the device.
Interestingly though, while 5G is showing at the top of the screen, when I navigate to the Network type and strength menu in Settings, it displays 4G -112dBm. Don't know why there is discrepancy between the notification/status bar display (5G) and the Network type and strength display (4G), and which one to believe. Am I not actually connected with 5G even though the notification/status bar icon says so?
Does anyone know whether or not 5G can be definitively turned off on a Verizon LG V60? Is there a code I can enter in the dialer to load a 'band selection' menu? Is there a third party app that works for the LG V60 that can accomplish this? Can I root it and accomplish this by plugging it into a computer? Or should I return this phone and buy an LG V40 without a 5G antenna instead? Thank you for your help.
did you try select network in hidden menu?
Dial *#*#4636#*#* => Phone information => Select in list . (NR is 5G)
