Hi community,
I'd appreciated any feedback on the below.
I followed this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-10-0-aosp-suzu-sonyxperiadev-q-builds.3969967/ thread about upgrading Xperia X F5121 from Android 8 to 10.
After going through the steps my phone is stuck on the splash screen with SONY logo. Won't boot further.
I used TWRP to wipe data, system, Darwik and cache, then flashed custom ROM, then I used fastboot to flash oem binaries, then flashed Gapps and rebooted.
Where did I probably go wrong ?

Hello, I'm trying to install twrp 3.1 on an Xperia F5121. Every time I install it through fastboot it lets me in the recovery but it does not let me reboot the system and it stays in a loop with the recovery. I have read that the Xperia has no partition where to install this recovery and after flsshearlo several times to try to include Fotaknernel in the system, I also do not see this partition. Could someone tell me how to do it please?
Hi everybody,
I got my Swift 2 8 months ago and have finally decided to root it using TWRP. So I unlocked my bootloader and then installed TWRP using the official guide at https://twrp.me/devices/wileyfoxswift2.html. I also wiped my cache and dalvik cache.
However, now I have done this, whenever I try to boot, I receive both the amber and red warnings about corruption and then get stuck in a bootloop on the first black and white boot image.
Please can someone help me get back into android; if possible I would like root but in the end just a working phone.
Thanks.
As far as I know it's a dm-verity issue. There might be several ways to fix it but the only one I know is to flash Magisk from TWRP. I still run version 12 because 13.x won't install for me.
From my expierience, unlocking and locking bootloader will wipe your userdata , so backup! How I root mine is, first unlock through fastboot, than fastboot boot twrp, instead of flashing, flash magisk through twrp, than lock the bootloader again through fastboot. This keeps you from getting messages about corruption and has you rooted. Whenever I need twrp I just boot it instead of flashing it. I also made a backup using twrp, just to keep things safe and easy to restore...
Edit: To get out of bootloop you either do a factory reset or flash the image found in this forum using fastboot update...

Hello,
I tried this morning to install a custom ROM for my sony xperia z5 compact. Unfortunately, it remains crashing on the "Sony" screen
I unlocked the bootloader via the official link https://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/. Until then no worries, everything worked well.
Then I wanted to install a TWRP recovery via this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/twrp-3-1-0-z5-z5c-z5p-t3571050
I was able to flash it without worries but when restarting, TWRP asked me if I wanted to install the app, I put OK and from there, impossible to start my phone. "always stuck on Sony screen".
this is my config : E5823 / 32.4.A.1.54
I want just to start my phone. Is there possible to put a stock version? thanks
This is very urgent to resolve it unfortunately
Thanks for your help
you can close this subject, problem solved. Thanks
Wanna share how you fixed it?
Yes sure,
I flashed my recovery with the TWRP 3.1.1 posted before with the command "fastboot flash recovery {name_of_file.bin}" and I did a flash of the boot with the good version of boot with the commande "fastboot flash boot {name_of_file.bin}.
I founded the good boot at this address for my version : https://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/general/32-4-1-54-coming-t3685995
Dear Experts, Please Help
I installed latest twrp to my Redmi 4A via PC (SDK), and now its not getting into system anymore.
Tried reboot from recovery, powered off and on again, its just got stuck on MI logo and Unlocked written below (as it had unlocked bootloader).
I did nothing in twrp, just gave permission for system modification when asked on first startup.
How to start my device again?
The Recovery Partition has nothing to do with with system. You messed up something unintentionally remove cache and dalvik try reboot again if that doesn't work try reset and if that either doesn't help flash a Custom ROM.

Hi
No phone for two days now while I try to fix my own mistakes! Need some guidance please. I want to install either the custom ROM from lineageOS or the PixelExperience one. I've tried many times and always the same error.
Here is what I did
0 downloaded and unlocked the boot loader with the official app
1 downloaded all drivers and adb
2 ran fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
3 ran fastboot boot twrp.img
4 boot into twrp and install the LineageOS zip - version 15.1 I have tried v16 as well
5 selected wipe data
6 pressed back, clicked wipe and allowed it to complete the factory reset wipe
No matter what I do I can not get past the twrp screen. It constantly comes back. I can't do anything other than twrp or fastboot.
Please any guidance will help me?

If you are coming from a Miui stock rom you need to Format data, is not enough with wipes. In the case that the rom be a 9.0 pie you need to after Format data install the latest firmware to can boot.
