Hello there, I bouth a pptv king 7s and recived it yesterday. I want to install/fastbook TWRP on it so i can pull the original framework from the phone and have a backup. I tried to fastboot the phone with the pptv king 7 TWRP that i found on this forum but it didn't work, i assume its because there is some difference between the 7 and 7s because the 7s has a 3d display.
now my question is. can some of you help me to manage to fastboot the phone so i can pull the original framework from it or does some one else have the original framework? i would like to install TWRP on it later and Xposed Framework.
If i try to install the pptv king 7 framework i will lose all my 3d apps and the 3d wont work and won't be calibrated.
I am willing to try almost everything. And is it possible to install some 3d deep settings like the htc evo 3d (i think?) had.

Edit: the phone is standard rom/firmware and rooted with Kingroot
Edit 2: I found the original Rom here -> http://pan.baidu.com/s/1o8RgrDS it is a really slow download and you need to download some 3rd part program. I will do it and re-upload it here for you guys! i will edit it later.

I have tried to temporary boot twrp with fastboot but it won't work i guess it is something with my drivers on the pc.... i got it unlocked anyway... i guess thats a small step lol...
Edit 4: Got TWRP installed now! found out what i did wrong.... SP Flash tool didn't recognize my phone... and i was searching for problems and after a while... i tried to turn off the phone, plug it out, press download button in sp flash tool and then plug the phone in... and it worked! i only flashed the recovery so i can install xposed framework!

This is excellent news, i have been searching for so long for this 7s firmware as i wish to convert my king 7 to a 3d version. They have spares on Banggood lcd screens and full housing, so was going to make this a my new project. Was just missing the firmware. So thank you very much
I also had Trouble flashing through sptool, and thought it was a problem with the mtk drivers as im using win 10, so i decided to flash twrp with flashify instead which worked a treat. Then did the normal flashing Su and Rom through twrp. Never used fastboot method, im quite new to flashing these chinese phones so i'm a bit cautious to try methods that im not to sure about.
I have cm13 on my king 7 now, but wish to convert it to the 3d version once my spares are ordered and are with me. But before i do this, do you think there's a possibility this would work? As the phones have physically the same hardware minus the 3d screen and firmware, so i shouldn't see why i couldn't work.

Yes, i think it would work, because its the same components except the 3d screen, the framework have a different driver that tells the phone what to do and when

Hi, i did have the password already, but when i got to the page that i posted, i found out i needed to craete a baidu account, which i don't want to do.
I thank you for the links above, but i think that is just a bit to much for me, i don't want to make a mistake, especially as it's in a different language.

This must be the biggest pain in the A*** download i have done! Twice it has just stopped after getting to around 70% and wont let me carry on, and in between resuming for over an hour! i give up with it, if anyone manages to get this Rom downloaded, then please share. =]

Thank you for the links you have provided. I managed to install the flyme Rom, but quickly uninstalled again. Rom insn't optimized for the king 7 and there's no support for the three main buttons For Android (Back, home and menu) its a big shame that most chinese phone manufacturers mainly use apple based os's which really makes me annoyed. I heard there's a patch on a Russian forum for the buttons issue. But i think i will just stick with Cm 13 for now.
What is this zip you have posted? Is this another Rom? If so, is it working ok? Curious to know before flashing...
And i have some mtk drivers installed, but they're not working for me so unable to use sptool to flash any official Roms. Just using Twrp atm which i prefer
If you can link me to some that actually work, i would be grateful.

Oh dear, it looks like you have a normal King 7 NOT a 7's, if you had a 7's version, you would have a 3D gallery and other 3D software within the phone. Also it states only KING 7 not KING 7s the build number says PP6000(2D) if it was a 7s with 3D it would say PP6000(3D)
I would contact the supplier and demand a refund or a partial refund, did you buy from Gearbest by any chance?? I was speaking to someone on HUKD forums regarding this exact same issue and he received a partial refund of just £20!
I would keep pushing for more, as they have sold you the wrong product which is very misleading. Check AliExpress.com for spares, they have a 3D replacement screen for sale as well as full spare housing to make the switch to a 3D model (If you wanted)
I have yet to find a tear down tutorial to follow before i try this myself

Hi Nubia N1 users,
unfortunately I bricked my Nubia N1 an now I am looking for some help to get it back to life. At the moment it is impossible to boot the N1 to system or to recovery. Booting to bootloader is possible, developer options are turned off, so no USB debugging possible and switch for Bootloader OEM unlock is turned off.
I guess my only chance is finding another friendly Nubia N1 user, that will make a full SP-Flashtool Readback from his device, that he might share with me. My N1 ist the NX541J with 3GB/64GB of memory. Hope someone will help me. THX

Got my Nubia N1 working again with hours of help from @jemmini (4PDA and XDA). So far so good :highfive:
Now I got a chinese Nubia N1 3/64GB with a chinese Android 5.1 ROM. There is a international Android 6 ROM for download @ Nubia.com/de website available. When I flash this ROM with Stock recovery, the phone starts after flashing, but the touch is not longer working. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

On 4PDA one of variants of the decision of a problem is described:
1. Reward the TWRP.
2. In the cleanup section, select the formatting, then immediately all the wipes except the drive and SD card (no wipe formatting was performed).
3. Right from the TWRP menu, change to fastboot and flash the stock recovery.
4. In the stock recovery, flash at 1.20.

-Provide me with stock recovery file (extracted from stock rom)
-i port twrp(and orange fox) so at least i know what am i doing.

And, I also have the Complete update file for 7.1.1, Please, Can you help me out here...
I would be very helpful to you for that!
Also, On alll NEWER phones, OPPO disabled FASTBOOT...

Yes im still here, if you Have root you can bybass having to unlock bootloader completely by using flashtify to flash the recovery, but how do you root it in the first Place?
I dont have the device so i have to do this blind
I only need the stock(newest) recovery
If this is your main phone, im advise you not to do this, because porting recoverys usually have to flash stock rom few times, because of bootloop

How you got play store in chinese rom? Just usual install of the framework apk?
And how to root?
unlock bootloader and enable usb debugging and use the application in the below link for TWRP and then install Magisk for root.

GCAM for Nubia Z20 (working with attached config file)
Gcam working for Nubia Z20 below link. (May be working for other Nubia mobiles too)
Transfer the attached config file to /GCam/Configs/
then import through gcam app for proper functioning
Everything works including Night sight.

I agree on the sub forum,I just ordered one and am surprised their is not a sub-forum for the Z20
It would be interesting to see how developing goes for this device before i order it so please open a sub .

Always on display does not seem to be working "screensaver" is not showing up when phone is laid down.
Next to that in game space the animation on the back end of the phone starts but stops in like 2 seconds.
Any suggestions?

Yes, this method does work to temporarily unlock the bootloader on the US version. It will relock on reboot, I'm assuming due the factory recovery.
Still no sub-forum?

Why has the sub forum still not been created? Come on mods we need it
Hey guys,
i need your help. Since a few days i cant activate the wlan toggle on my phone. I didnt do anything, just deactivated wlan, and couldnt activate it again. After searching for solutions, i found out that its a relatively common problem, and that my bluetooth also does not work.
If i understood it correctly, i need to flash the persist.img from a fastboot rom to the persist partition. The problem is i cant do that, since my phone is still locked. When trying to unlock it, i get the error code 20091.
I also tried to to modify the flash_all.bat with persist like i have seen in an other tutorial. Then flash it witch the mi flash tool.
This also didnt work.
Then i installed twrp 3.02 zcx to get root, to delete the data/misc/wifi folder and the persist folder. This didnt work out too.
I read a lot of posts in the redmi note 3 forum, but there are a lot of dead links to the official forum.
Writing this topic this forum shows me similar threads from other phones. I will look into that now.
But maybe someone of u had the same problem, or can give me some tips to progress?

Wifi and Bluetooth dead is common issue for miui users on kenzo.
Its permanant damage. U cant re activate it using hacks.
It happens when u regularly updating miui rom using system updater.
Its really not safe to update miui using ota update on rn3. Its safe to use pc for new miui rom.
Kenzo users who stayed on miui rom and updated miui regularly using updater faced this. And Those who moved to custom roms long back dnt have this issue.

New devices are treble based phones. Also good optimized battery friendly.
Ya. U can buy rn8. But buy only snapdragon processor phone. mediatek is crap. Doesnt have custom roms.
Rn8 is SD.
Rn8 pro is mediatek.
