bootloader or fastboot not opening. - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

hey guys, So i have flashed my redmi note 3 with stock android 5.1. Two problems surfaced after that and i have no idea how to solve them.
1. The storage space was full. I got 32 gb internal storage, but after flashing stock android 5.1, it shows free space as only 4kb. i did try to check what is occupying that much space, but there is literally nothing. I connected my phone to ,y laptop to use MTP and see, nothing. Even my SD card is shown as fulleven though it's empty. When i try to copy something to my SD card though, it does copy but doens't work for internal storage. i thought something is wrong with the stock android 5.1 ROM, so i wanted to go into twrp custom recovery and go back to restore, but here came the problem 2.
2. I am not able to enter into recovery mode. 1st, i tried to go into recovery mode using "Reiboot for android", it just restarted into android 5.1. Then I tried using ADB commands to enter into bootloader and fastboot It just restarted into android 5.1 again. Then I switched off the phone, then held power button and volume up botton (which worked previous to the custom ROM flashing), but now it just restarts to Android 5.1 again. So finally, no matter how much i try to enter fastboot or recovery, it just restarts into Android 5.1. Even if i want to carry on with the custom rom, i cannot as there is the storage full problem (4kb left).
Even if i want to go back to restore the backup, i cannot. So any help here guys about what is happening and what i can do?
Thank you.

Custom recovery is opening now. But still couldn't solve the storage problem.I am not planning to keep stock android 5.1 anyway, but I don't want to go back to MIUI either cause the battery optimization thing is soo bad, as soon as i turn off my screen, my music player is killed. I can't even play anything even a small size music player. So Basically I am looking for a ROM where I can play my music player in the background. I don't use any other heavy apps either. So any tips guys?
Also, I am new to the whole ROM thing, so correct me if i do not make sense anywhere. Thanks

Hi!
I tried to install android 4.1.2 for the first time for my Samsung Galaxy S (GTI-9000),
This is what i done so far:
1. Rooted the phone
2. Installed Clokwerk mode
3. Made a system backup
4. Wiped all data, wiped partition
5. Installed Android 4.1.2 (ParanoidAndroid)
6. Installed the WRONG GoogleApps. -> At this point i tried to remove them and i dont know really what happened because:
7. Now i cant reach the phone's sdcard. If i go in to the menu in recovery mode, to install a new rom, sdcard not found.
If i want to mount the usb storage, sdcrad not found. I cannot even connect via Kies, because sdcard just dead for some reason.
Now i have a phone that cannot boot, and cannot reach sdcard anyhow.
Please help me.
Anyobdy know how to bring back life to this piece of metal and plastic?

P7510 Flash Problem

I need help. I came across a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" WIFI only GT-P7510 recently and was trying to flash AOKP 4.2.2 to it after rooting it with Odin. I was originally on 4.0.1. Now I can't get it past the boot screen, the colorful X. I can still access CWM(I'm using 5.8.3 I believe). I've tried multiple times to reflash the recommended US Bootloader and always wipe the data/cache/dalvik cache. To no avail. I stupidly didn't create a backup of the original OS image; therefore, I can't put another OS on it. There's no external SD slot on the tablet and can't get the tab to boot to use the usb cable to do it. I also have the option to get to download mode, but when it asks me if I'm sure whether or not I'm sure I want to go into download mode, I click the volume up button, it doesn't work. It just shuts back off. I can still get into the recovery, but that doesn't help if i can't put any zip files on it to reflash to stock or another rom. the tablet just stays on the boot screen until it dies. I've tried a lot of google searches but nothing directly helps me. I really hope someone here can help.

[Q] Lenovo A830 Boot Loop No Recovery

I have a problem with one of my Lenovo A830 phones.
I bought it from Etotalk, so it came rooted, and with their custom version of the Lenovo Stock ROM and their custom version of CWM 5.5 installed.
I tried formatting my SD card and then doing a factory data reset from within the operating system. (I was intending to install MIUI V5 after rebooting into recovery).
However, on rebooting, the device is now caught in an infinite boot loop, and I am not able to boot into recovery mode (by holding down power and both volume keys). It loads the initial splash screen, then shows a few seconds of the Android character and some whirring cogs before rebooting.
I am able to boot into Factory mode (power and volume up) or Meta mode (power and volume down). Factory mode has a number of options, but they are all in Chinese characters, which I am unfortunately not able to read.
I did notice that my SD card seemed to be write protected when I tried to format it in my computer and to copy on the new ROM - I solved this by putting it in a different phone and reformatting it. I wonder whether the factory reset process has write protected something it shouldn't have?
Does anyone know how I might best proceed? I've been digging around on the forums, and tried a few things, but there's nothing which seems to provide a coherent solution for this problem.
I've got the latest Android SDK Tools, MTK Droid Tools 2.4.8, SP Flash Tool 3.1312, some additional ADB drivers (120827 v3.7) that I'm not sure how to install, the latest MIUI V5 ROM (3.8.16), and the latest stock Lenovo ROM (S118 from Need A ROM, just in case I need it).
Maybe different SP Flash Tools version?
I had trouble using SP Flash Tools v3.1312 with A830. Once I switched to v3.1304.0.119 I was able to flash both the original ROM and the custom MIUI one without serious issues. I'm unable to post the download link but google it.
One other thing is that when connecting the phone, it usually loads the something something Preloader driver, which is no good (even if it gives you Download OK). When attempting to flash either ROM, try pressing both the power and volume up buttons while connecting the phone (after pressing Download), only way it worked for me.
Good luck!
I managed to sort this out quite simply in the end!
On the Lenovo A830 (and presumably other Lenovo Android phones?), you enter recovery by pressing power and then pressing volume up / down together after a short pause. The short 1 - 2 second pause is important, because if you try and press them at the same time or in quick succession it doesn't seem to work.
I then installed MIUI V5 from the SD card followed by Google Apps after a reboot. In order to get MIUI to install, I had to remove the assert check at the top of the update script, because this seems to erroneously check for the A820 (even though there isn't currently a port for this device?). It's working excellently with two exceptions - I am unable to select the SD card as a storage device, and Google Play store is not searchable (it causes a Force Close).

Hi I had similar "reboot loop" problem this morning after a phone factory reset.
I have no idea how I solved that but the following was the steps I tried:
1. Install the MTK6589_PdaNET_ADB_VCOM_Drivers. Skip the USB connection during setup. Start the PdaNET after setup finished.
2. Insert battery inside the phone and connect the phone with the computer by USB
In my case, the phone reboot loop once, and the lenovo screen appeared in the second restart. The phone hanged. I unplugged the cable, took out the battery, insert the battery again and start the phone normally again and it is working now.
I recommend installing the recovery rom after you have fixed the phone.
Goodluck

My S3 is in a TWRP loop and the phone has a broken Charging/USB port

Hey all,
I installed Omega ROM v6.1 on my i9300 and for a while it was good.
Unfortunately one day it decided to crash and crash hard.
It was stuck in a boot loop and so I decided to wipe all the system, cache and factory reset in TWRP.
I then tried to reflash the ROM but it did not reinstall the full thing.
I believe this was down to the fact that I did not perform format data, as I have some mp3's on the internal storage that I wanted to save.
I tried to copy the files from the internal storage to the external micro sd card. This worked at first but then it quit part way through.
I thought this was due to the low battery so I charged and tried to resume. However whenever I tried to copy or move the files over to the external storage the next time it just failed.
I tried to do this a few times as I noticed it would work for a few seconds or a minute before quitting and so thought I could get them all eventually.
The total size of the folder is 2.4GB.
After doing this a few times my phone then decided to boot loop TWRP. It will sit on the startup screen of TWRP but when you try to do something it then resets.
I am running TWRP version v2.3.1.0.
As mentioned before I cannot connect my phone to a computer as the connection port is broken too.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated. I have searched the web for hours but found no such luck.
Kind Regards,
Shaun
You can try reflashing twrp but don't hold your breath.
Without the usb port the device cannot be flashed unless you have mobile odin, for which your device needs to be working.
The only other way is try holding all of the buttons on the device until it boots. Sometimes devices do a reboot when you hold all of the buttons. You must be exact and get all of them at precisely the same time. If no joy then the phone is goosed.
Thanks bro
Thanks for your help, a week or 2 later it decided not to turn on at all....
Think it's toast mate.
Just grabbed and s7 instead
