Hi everyone
I'd like to setup my Tab S7+ as a second display for my Windows laptop. Everything runs smoothly, but the trouble is that the display on my tablet is very small and not in full screen.
I guess it may be because of the resolution, since my laptop has a 3000x2000 screen, but is there a way to fix this?

I found the solution by myself, here it is:
> Right click on desktop
> Go to Intel Graphics Settings
> Go to Display
> Go to Wireless Display
> Move the slider to 100% in Picture Size

Thank you for this! It's the correct solution. The Microsoft site and others all say to download the Samsung Second Screen application, which is useful because it adds additional resolutions, but it doesn't fix the fact that the Intel settings are fors ome reason set to use only 85% of the display space.

Does the TG01 have a ‘blacklist’ entry in the registry to stop auto-rotation on specified apps?

If that doesn't work, as mine sometimes rotates it even though it's not checked, check it, click ok, then uncheck and ok again

not any that i know of ...
if u really wanna conrol rotation get ae buttob plus and bind a volume key to "rotate screen"
(or the silver slider with the "add button" function)
Hi
I installed AndroidVm on Virtualbox. Everything is great except that the apps run larger than the screensize it seems. For example I generally cannot see the settings button (stacked dots one), seems like. Therefor I cannot set those settings and some other issues probably.
Is there a way to change the screensize or force the apps to fit the screen poroperly? I am using the tablet version of AndroidVM.

It does not work on the TrueSmart 1GB/8GB edition because of a firmware problem according to Loki. Try Shake from the Playstore. It works fine on my 1/8 1900 (U.S. edition)

I've tried every single shake app and none of them work. Could you tell me how you got Shake to work on a 1/8 1900 with ensec and operative?

got it working.
make sure you turn OFF WatchON.
shake: actions when shaken > simple > OClock or OmateFaces
sensitivity: (I have it in 10)
servicestate > ON
start at start up > check
Active when screen is off > check
Vibrate when shaken> on
Notify when shaken > off

I don't use the Omate clock face (I use Executive Assistant with a Sense Analog Small Clock, which I wish took up less space, but it does pack a lot of information into half the screen). Based on my settings, I think "Turn Screen On" as the action will show whatever your lock screen is (obviating the need to change the action if you change lock screens, but taking away the option of showing something different for shaking vs. using the button), and I think "Turn Screen On" is also one of the actions for which there is no notification, so the Notify setting doesn't have any effect for me. (If it does, I haven't noticed.)
Sensitivity 8 seems to be about the right balance for me. It only occasionally triggers just because I'm gesturing expansively, but I can pretty much always activate it when I actually mean to.

Hi,
"Cast" option is normally available in "Settings > Display > Cast".
You can also use the "Search" feature in settings to find out what you're looking for:
Go to "Settings",
Click on the search button (should be in the upper right corner),
Type in "Cast".
If nothing appears, then your phone doesn't likely support screen casting.

First Linux tablet/phone & Ununbtu_touch. Is on a Nexus_7, bigger
than average size screen does me right. Mostly used as a video pad.
Am a very simple linux user, need direction.
Would like to tweak my phablet if possible:
1) UI settings revert to defaults everytime Phablet off/on.
a)System settings[sidebar] > Rotation lock reverts
b) System [Smaller top icon] > Desktop mode reverts
Is fix a small init bash script? Can you please spell it out.
2) How to create a folder that is VISIBLE on phablet default screen ?
Did a 'mkdir' in 'Desktop' folder and one in home. Folders show in terminal
using 'ls' but NOT visible on immediate default screen.
