[Q] Default location for Gallery

I'm running ASNET MIUI and would like to change the default location the gallery goes to when i open it. At the moment it says "empty" and i have to click "local images" and then "camera" every time. Perhaps there's a file or something i can modify to change this?
I would post this in ASNET's thread but i don't have sufficient privileges, it's possible this is a generic ROM question anyway as the solution may apply to others.
I'd love to hear your thoughts, thanks!

Steps to Set Default Dowload Location to SD Card

Hello
After typing the title, XDA forums showed me similar threads but unfortunately none of them had the answers i wanted, so here i continue.
I have rooted my device and i would like to know if there is some way to set the default "Download" location to sd card for media files that i download using some apps and not the default install location. please do tell, if it possible by editing any files or something.
Thanks
##UPDATE##
Hi guys, Found a way to deal with my above mentioned problem.
But it is only possible for rooted devices as it requires Xposed Framework and a Module called "Downloads2SD"
I guess it should work properly as it allows me to change download directory for different types of files.
I try to radically solve the problme by move the deafult app installation to ExtSdcard and found poor results:
too many programs was fake
an old program called "install manager" mentioned that it do so but when i try it :it always get error message although i rooted my mobile and the app shows the window of choose which installer use to setup the app
any helper to move deafult installation of apps to ExtSdcard
Thanks in advance

[Q] How to enable developer mode and mock locations in source

Hi, I am trying to build a custom rom that has developer mode -> Mock locations=true, Auto-rotate screen=false by default. Here is what I have tried:
Pulled the settings database from `data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases`
Edited the database so that the mock locations flag was set to 1
Wrote a script to add to the makefile that would move the new database to `/data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases` on build.
and
Adb push the new database file to proper location
Reboot
Neither of these options seemed to work out properly. I need an option to set some of the settings, including the hidden Developer option "enable mock locations" so that I can build an image with these settings enabled by default. If anyone can help, would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

I am also looking for this. Being able to access adb on a fresh install on a device that has trouble getting into recovery would be very beneficial.
I had to flash back to factory stock this morning because the kernel I was using prevented me from accessing the bootloader and the ROM I was developing was missing a key apk. Had this had been built into the ROM, I could have been able to reboot to recovery.

Impossible to create shortcut to eject USB (OTG)

Hi, I'm trying to create a shortcut to remove an USB instead of having to go to "Settings - Storage - Eject" but it seems impossible.
No matter how many umount commands I tried, the USB never really unmounts, I still can read it. The only way so far is the setting I said above. When I capture the log, I see some intent about EJECT_MEDIA, but I have no clue on how manually trigger that so I can place a shortcut somewhere.
Does anyone know how can I achieve this?
Thanks!

Input Method Selector Icon Location on System

Does anyone know where the "Selector Icon" setting is stored on the system? I tried "settings list <system|global|secure>" but didn't find it.
