Hello all,
Did someone managed to use a SmartTag as a smart lock device ?
For exemple i have my keys and a SmartTag, so when i have the keys near me it would avoid me to use the fingerprint or password to unlock my phone?

Hello, I'm trying to access my tablet Odys Xpress to change the ROM. The problem, after reading several posts on how to do, is that windows 7 does not recognize the driver. Surely it's because I have not activated the tablet's USB debuggin. But change can not access because it has a screen lock pattern type I do not know.
Someone can help me and tell me how I can remove the pattern lock screen? Thanks to all
hi again, anyone knows how to do a hard reset on the tablet Odys Xpress? or some way access or key combination to erase his memory or clear storage?. Thanks
Hi All !
I've used Edge S6 with a great success for 1 month. No issues using fingerprint unlock, etc..
Today i had a problem using the fingerprint to unlock the phone. I've manageŠ² to unlock the screen, but when i try to get to the fingerprint part of Security menu in Settings it asks me for the backup password which i do not recall. Tried all the passwords i could imagine and none worked. Browsed through the Internet and the only method found was to make a hard reset.... DO not want to do this.
Is there any way to reset the backup password ? Or restore it ?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,

Hello Guys and Girls!
I am about to buy a new LG V10 H960a in Germany.
Currently I am using a Galaxy Note 3 which is still a great machine, but I think it is time to switch to a new phone with more speed, better camera and better sound.
I do not game, but listen to a lot of music and take a lot of photos and videos.
At the moment, my phone running stock Android 4.4.4 is rooted, has Xposed and is encrypted.
My question:
After officially unlocking the bootloader on the V10, will I be able to:
Root + install Xposed (Xprivacy, Greenify) + ENCRYPT the device on Stock Marshmallow? (I am not going to install custom roms). Does the method [adb -> pkill -KILL daemonsu] still work? If not, which way do I have to choose?
Also, if I ENCRYPT my device, could you tell me more about the unlocking mechanism?
1. After booting, what is the maximum of letters and numbers possible in the password field [16?]?
2. Is it possible to unlock with the fingerprint sensor after entering a password once after booting?
3. I did not find much info or looked in the wrong place: Generally unlocking with fingerprint, do you have to press once to both wake and unlock or do I have to press twice for wake and once again for unlock?
Thank you very much!

Hi ndroiduzer,
I'm not able to answer your questions regarding encryption as I currently don't use ist but I will try for the rest.

Yes, root and installing xposed is possible. I don't know about encryption. The Option is still there but as I don't use it I cannot confirm it is still working after bootloader unlock.
Unlocking with fingerprint:
Genarally you have to enter the alternative code (PIN, Pattern, Password) after reboot once before you can unlock you phone with your fingerprint. There is a module for Xposed called "FingerprintEnabler". If you have installed it you can unlock your phone with your fingerprint directly after reboot. You don't have to enter your PIN/Pattern/Password first.
To unlock your phone with the fingerprint you place your finger on the sensor (which is the power button) and press the button once to activate the screen. Just leave your finger on the sensor and the phone will unlock. If you have a flip case which activates the screen when you open it, you just need to place your finger on the sensor.
I hope this clarifies things a bit.
Thank you a lot for your thorough explanations!
Nice to hear, one does not have to press twice to unlock.
