Restoring settings dont remember location of audio files - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

Hi
when switching phone and restoring settings, macroes dont work because the autio files location apparently is nor preserved.
I had manually to go through about 80 macros to set all audio file locations again, very time consuming
Any idea how to solve ?
Thanks

[Q] Bluetooth Issues - Partial Workaround

I'm currently on v0.4 of Naven's Atrix port and can't seem to get Bluetooth to fire up. I don't remember having this problem with older versions of this ROM.
Using both the widget control and the prompt in Settings, Bluetooth tries to turn on and ultimately, fails.
I found these potential fixes doing my due diligence:
1. Uncheck Compatibility Mode in SpareParts
2. Download and run Bluetooth Fix Repair
3. Open Bluetooth Share in Settings>Applications and wipe data/cache
4. Wipe cache and dalvik in Tenfar's System Recovery and reboot
5. Move bluetooth apps back to internal memory
Thus far, nothing has worked.
Any ideas?

I'm doing follow-up to my original post, in the event someone ends up experiencing similar issues and searches for a solution.
It's definitely an app or process conflict of some sort. I downloaded a market app, Bluetooth Wall, which has the ability to scan apps and identify those with bluetooth access capabilities.
Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to uninstall all of these apps one-by-one, so I discovered another workaround.
After a reboot, as soon as the home launcher is loaded, I push the Bluetooth toggle to get bluetooth going. This has worked every time, thus far. Unfortunately, if I deactivate Bluetooth at any time afterwards, I cannot reactivate it without a reboot.
According to the battery usage monitor, an unused bluetooth connection (not actively discoverable) is responsible for about 2-3% of total battery life. And with Bluetooth Wall running, my phone should be safe in this state.
Hopefully, I'll get to the heart of this problem after a little more work ...

BT works great with the new 234 sbf.
Unfortunately i don't have Atrix so I can't try and see what happens.
I am the developer of Bluetooth Fix Repair, and I'm always looking to support more devices, so I need to ask you: What did my app say? Unsupported Device, or "Fix Applied, good luck!"
Thanks

Phk,
Thanks for tracking my post down ...
If I recall correctly, Bluetooth Fix Repair ran successfully.
The problem with my X2, though, seems to be an app conflict -- even though I recently flashed to a new build - 2.3.4. from 2.3.3. - the conflict persists.

[Q] Profile manager with GPS auto switch?

Is there a profile manager (like Profile Scheduler from playstore), which can swithch ITSELF on and off GPS?
I mean that now in all the existing profile managers when switching profile it can on/of BT, data, sound etc... But I have to switch the GPS myself, since the software can not do it, and the GPS status is just the way it did the last manual switch.
I know that this feature has been disabled by Google, but maybe on rooted device...
No solution?
Have you tried moving the apk to /system/app? It may or may not work, but assuming that the app tries to turn off the GPS in "the normal Android way", moving it to /system/app would grant the app the permission needed to turn off the GPS.

This is not quite what I need. I just want to one-click switcher for the profiles that contains settings for sound, brightness, networks, data... and thats all.
Don't even need a schedule. I want to select a profile on the desktop, and get ALL of the settings are configured
So far, no solution
Not sure if you already thought of a solution?

Thinking outside the box...
If I understand your problem correctly you are simply looking for an easily activated profile change. I used to be looking for an app that would do this by gps, or time triggers and found many apps that did not quite meet the standard. I have resorted to an NFC(near field communication) writer and activator app that is called trigger. You can set up different tasks that would normally be triggered using NFC chips that you can purchase and program to store in various location. I have weighed the pros and cons of purchasing the chips and I have opted to create several tasks for different settings like meetings, work, home, etc... I then create a shortcut for each task and whenever I change locations I simply toggle the task and it will run changing anything from Mob/WiFi, and ringer tone/vol. This was an acceptable solution for my profile changing needs. Hope this helps you out!!!

[Q] Date & Time Settings problem

Looking for some help, for whatever reason and as far back as i can remember the " Automatic Use network provided values" under my date & time settings has been checked, and I am unable to uncheck it. Its is the only setting on my phone that is locked like this. In order to correct my time and time zone I've had to use clocksync and timezone fixer from the market. Does anyone have an idea cause I'm fresh out. Maybe a manual way to edit it via some system file I'm not aware of or something? Fix permissions does nothing. And like i said it is the only setting that is perpetually checked, all others are adjustable. (someone told me it may be a gps problem, but my gps seems to be working, my compass gets a fix, google maps, copilot, and gps status are all good to go) A little help here please...Thanx in advance.
Oh, I'm running GB 2.3.5

[Q] permanently disable/ delete wifi

Hi.. Im looking for a way to permanently disable wifi from my device, either by deleting the drivers, or changeing inner settings to turn off immidiatly when turned on.. I also want it as a permanent solution, not by installing an app that can be uninstalled...
I found a few other solution but none is good for s2, there is no /systems/lib/modules folder, and theres nothing about wifi in the Build.prop file...
Phone is rooted, stock 4.1.2
Thanks
Try looking these two files at /system/etc/permissions/ folder:
com.android.hardware.wifi.xml
com.android.hardware.wifi.direct.xml
Rename these both files (in the case you'll need them back later), for example:
com.android.hardware.wifi.xml.bak
com.android.hardware.wifi.direct.xml.bak
(When rename them, just make sure they don't ended with .xml extension)
Now reboot the phone. The system shouldn't detect the WiFi presence now. You can check it from Android settings, WiFi parts should be gone.
The drawback is, if you upgrade your ROM or install a new one, you need to repeat this procedure again. Also, I don't know if WiFi still can be detected someway from Android system.
A bit off topic:
I also have similar problem with my S2 regarding to defected WiFi. I've been thinking of pulling off WiFi chip near leaked clock battery (which is causing phone's date time always reset every time I remove the main battery). The only thing to prevent me doing that is because the bluetooth still good— well, sometimes it won't turned on before I switch the WiFi on (in that case, bluetooth goes on and WiFi still remain off).
Hope this help.
Is this - theoretically - possible with any process on any android phone? Would be the solution for a problem i'm doing research now for hours...

Remove wifi access

Hi,
I have rooted android 4.2 tablet.
I would like to destroy my wifi.
If I will remove MAC adress (if it possible??) will it make the job? I thought that would be possible through software code. or remove some systems folder.
also, if there is an option to remove the wifi icon from status bar and also from setting menu that would be great. I will turn it off then remove those symbols.
I need help with those things. if you have other better ideas I'll be happy to hear.
Thank you.

This by far is the strangest post I have ever encountered in all my time on xda, anyway, I don't think it's possible, atleast with simple ways, for removal of options from quick tiles and settings you will need to mod the settings and systemui which will make it impossible to access wifi on/off option which in turn will remove wifi in a sense. But doing it takes some advanced knowledge on the workings and manipulation of Android system files.

 I need it to block the internet for some reasons.
Does it possible with any firewall or specific app to block the internet?

I don't think any app will help you turn wifi off if someone intentionally wants to use wifi on the device, a firewall can only stop apps from accessing the internet. But maybe you can try a method that I am not 100% sure about but it worked for some people, go to build.prop the find the lines;
wifi.interface=
wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=
And delete them, or if those lines aren't present then go to system>etc>wifi, find the files which are named "bcmdhd_" and delete them and reboot, but I definitely recommend taking a backup with a custom recovery before doing either of the two because these edits might cause adverse side effects or might bootloop your device, so use caution. Hope it helps.

I found that line: "wifi.interface=wlan0" but didn't found "wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=".
Anyway I deleted that line. At first WI-FI woreked well but after reboot it stoped.
Now it show "WIFI" symbol and I can enter to wifi interface but he can't find any of the lans available. and the lans I used to connect it say "out of range" even I near the router. That enough for me and that is what I wanted.!!
Thank you!
