I struggled a bit to find Font management which is built-in feature of Themes app as I could access it through a notification that popped-up after downloading several fonts.
You can download and apply font by searching "Font" but to manage them you need to access the hidden activity.
How To :
1- Install Activity Launcher from play store (de.szalkowski.activitylauncher)
2- Launch the FontSettingsActivity within Themes app
3- from there you can delete/apply downloaded fonts
You can also access it if you change region to something like India

Hey everyone, I am on the rom of B011 kitkat 400 dpi with perapp dpi
I would like to install many games and apps from play store. But unfortunately, they are not supported by our X1 on the new rom
Is there any thing I can do to install these apps?
Thanks in advance
Hi, have a look at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58171613&postcount=10
Just to see if it makes your desired apps appeared in the store again. (those map files let manuym apps to turn available via play store)
Remenber also that finding and downloading apk file enables you to install many uncompatible apps. Possible issues due to 400 dpi can then be solved by per app dpi setting.

This has solved the problem of Google +.. Thanks
But I want any suggestions to play my favorite games (like dead trigger for example) and install them in a legal way. Thanks again and I hope I will find a solution for this problem soon
Hi everyone,
I have an unbranded (sticker brand) Android TV that apparently has a custom firmware with almost everything modified, with the most annoying thing is that they have completely removed the stock Android settings app and replaced it with a custom settings app that has hardly any options. That prevents by from doing even basic stuff such as cleaning app's cache and data. Using ES Task Manager I've verified that they actually removed the settings app and not just the launcher link.
Is there any way I can get the native settings app into the device? Is there any alternative settings app that does a good job? I can install apks from unknown sources but no ADB (no hardware connection to PC).
Also, any rooting advice will also be appreciated but this is not critical. I have no ADB but the Android version is 4.4.2 and not really updated so exploit-based roots may work.
Bump
Hi,
Did you find any solution?
i'm even not able to boot in recovery mode
Try this
Hidden Settings For Android - Apps on Google Play
It can open practical settings which some phone vendors hide for user
play.google.com

This thread's topic is "Android Settings" and NOT "adb sideload" etc.pp.

Installed this app not working, only ads being displayed but no option only white screen in middle
I've been searching high and low and I just can't find an answer. When I go to Settings - Themes and try to apply one, it says "can't connect to the network".
I DO NOT want to connect to anything, let alone create any accounts just to be able to change the way my UI looks.
Is there any way to do this?
P.S. This thread is about something completely different than the one I posted recently, so I hope it isn't a problem that I made a separate one.
if you have root this is what I did, downloaded miui.am rom, extracted ThemeManager.apk and replace the file in my system, now I'm able to apply themes offline and 3 party sources themes

can you pleas upload ThemeManager.apk ?
U can use miui theme creator from Google play store to create signed themes, then there will be no problem like connection or 3rd party error
I am aware that there is already a method to install themes on Mi Pad 4, but in my opinion this method is much simpler, more user friendly and better for us to use. The other method had issues such as not been able to restore to default theme.
Note: This method has only been confirmed working on China Stable 10.1.1.0, it should work on other versions but I can't confirm.
Credit to this video for showing me this method:
1. Download the app QuickShortcutMaker.
2. Open it up, change search from incremental to normal, and search themes.
3. Click on com.android.thememanager, a bunch of different themes apps will come up, select the second one down.
4. Click try.
5. The app will launch and you can use and install themes as you normally would on a MIUI device.
Note: The only downside to this is you will have to use QuickShortcutMaker to launch the Themes app every time you want to change theme. By default two themes are installed, Default and Limitless.
Note: You can also import themes from https://miuithemes.tk/
Enjoy and hope this helped. Enjoy customizing!
Reserved.
You can also install fonts with this method.
Just use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pky.mifontinstaller
You can install any .ttf file as a font and apply it normally in the Themes app. (You obviously access the themes app with the OP.)
talk "个性主题" to xiao ai ,you will see the theme store

Of course we're going to learn Chinese to talk to our devices; piece of cake!
Please tell me how to restore the default theme back to my Mi Pad 4 plus using this method. I installed theme but want to change back. Thanks
It says that third party themes are not supported. I downloaded them from miuithemes.tk like you said.
Hey,
i want to change the package name of the apk from Samsung Internet Browser:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...rnet-browser-10-2-01-10-android-apk-download/
Why?
My phone will update the app to v11 and this version is stuttering while scrolling pages with videos and gifs like 9gag.
I want to change the package name, so my phone will not update the appanymore to a newer version. Deactivate auto update does not work, with every firmware update from samsung the phone will automatically update the app to v11.
How can i change the package name?
Thanks!

Download the app. Extract the Samsung internet browser app
Go into zip signer and resign your app with test keys.
Uninstall the browser app if currently installed then install the test key app you just made.
Or you could post me the Samsung browser app you are using and I could do it for you
