Where to find stock 9.0 firmware? - Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Questions & Answers

I've been having a hard time finding a working 9.0 firmware. It needs to be pre 10.0 as they changed the certificate process in 10.0+ and I haven't had any success bypassing the cert issue.

a7108 a5108 got the 7.1 update already
Hi my friends. Please do not install this update under any condition. It is necessary to patch this rom (7.1) for making it ready to enhance its modules for webview support. I mean after installing Gapps, the system would lose its webview impelement which is google webview by default. If you have flashed the rom, and no downgrade to 6 is possible due to bootloader sw.rev error, you can flash the (fixrom) 5 file rom 6.1 by odin and consider that only Flash the AP file . You will have a clean version of android with the error in (about)! The moment you want to find buildinfo to open the developer tool tree, you can search the word buildnumber in the search box in setting. Otherwise it is probably impossible. Goodluck

CTS profile match failed on Mate 10 Pro with current EMUI 9 beta

Hi,
I have the latest beta of Android 9 installed (from Huawei, I am in the beta test) and all went fine. Suddenly though Google Pay refused to work and I found out that my phone now fails SecurityNet test because of a CTS profile match failing.
My phone is not rooted and I don't have any rooting software installed.
Any idea what might be wrong?
I have exactly the same problem with my Mate 10 Pro and public Android 9 beta.
Had no problems earlier with Google Pay but suddenly it stopped working and I also found out that CTS profile match is failing now.
Since Google Pay no longer works with the beta, I would like to revert back to Android 8. Does anyone know if that is possible? And if it is, how can this be done safely?

Yes there is a thread in this forum, there are detailed instructions.
I will just wait for the official release and not revert to Android 8. It should only be a couple of weeks anyway.
Hi guys,
Having the same issue but with Mate 20 Pro with the latest official firmware update 9.0.0.168. Getting CTS profile mismatch now.
Will it eventually be fixed?

Same problem here with that firmware update.
Google Pay was working fine before the update.
A little bit frustrating.

I'm still on RomAur on Emui 9.0.0.228

What is the latest firmware that I can use so that I can root with magisk without any problem? Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I do not want to brick my device because of a bad update..
My model is a C432
Thanks in advance for your reply ??
Thanks for the all the help you are too many lol

Well, there's still no software for our new poor "nobody cares about" filesystem EroFS, so we got no scripts to even repack archives of firmware. Essentially, everything is done by manual dump of partitions of firmware after installation on phone.
The most recent custom firmware I was able to find is KangVIP emui 9.1 based on Chinese b135 firmware. I haven't tried, but some people mentioned that it works.

FYI, Huawei went further with their "user security experience" and in Emui 10 altogether removed bootloader unlock command, making it essentially impossible to get root there and dump partitions of already installed firmware. I think we're screwed and better forget about custom ROMs for emui 10+

after downgrad from A10 to Pie no Gyroscope and Compas function

Hi,
i had some issue's with Android 10 so i tried to downgrad back to Android 9...used Xperfirm to download 55.0.A.10.26 UA
but after flashing there was no Compas or Gyroscop function anymore....not even available at the service test menu (*#*#7378423#*#*)
so i flashed latest Android 10 version again and all is working well...any idea's how this can happen
or another source for the Android 9 (55.0.A.10.26) to download.?!
thx for any support :good:
Perhaps trying a different version of Pie?
By the way. does twrp work for you after downgrading?
newer flashed twrp
tried couple versions of Pie (EU, UA and play PL) not one brought back the sensor (gyroscope) back
updated OTA and with first update to Android 10 sensor started working normal....like a miracal.....Sony did something at the backround on our devices for sure....like deleting some function key's
so if u like to downgrad new devices u'll lose function's like u lose on rooting your device
Thanks! Good to know
i red some guides they said u need "OEM Unlock" to downgrade.!?

Honor View 10 - Downgrade to Android 9.0 ?

Hello everyone.
Planning on installing OpenKirin ROM on my BKL-L09, i have to downgrade to EMUI 9.0.
Problem is HiSuite doesn't let me go lower than 9.1. I then wanna ask you guys if a downgrade on 9.0 was possible.
Will the 2018 security patch make it impossible ? Is there a way even to do it ?
I know forcing HiSuite to install 9.0 is a bad idea, because i tried installing 8.0 which bricked the device entirely. I had to buy a service to reflash the stock rom.
Bootloader is unlocked.
Have a nice day, guys. Take care of you.
@Soriahz Can you please post the procedure to downgrade from EMUI 10 to 9.1? I am unable to do so on my BKL-L09.

Simply plug the phone while being booted in Android to your PC. Launch HiSuite and go to Software update. Click then on the right part which is called "other versions". You will then have the 9.1.0 update available.
