Recently got a system security patch update of 40 mb and some minor optimisations.
Phone became smoother after the update but the battery drain is slightly high
Well hopefully soon I even asked about Android 12 but no reply on that it would be nice seeing as we can't make custom roms I wonder if it being so out of date that they would release custom roms for this
I guess now we might as well write off the black shark 2 is getting any more updates or support because of the new covid outbreak might as well just write the phone off
For those of us that are left still with using this phone I'm seriously considering I'm trying to contact corporate to see about getting a full refund for my phone

Edit: I still haven't installed it so I can't say what's new or if it's working ok on custom 6.5.3 HD2 ROM, but as it's an official update hopefully it should work ok...

I didn't had too much time to play with this new version... The only thing I noticed is that Hotmail folder sync is slightly faster than the previous version, everything else seem to be the same (but I may be proven wrong about that )... Probably it's just a bugfix release

Looks like WindowsLive_0409.PPC2005_arm.cab just has the english language, and the other has english and 24 other languages that it installs... Thus the size difference.

Not sure if it will work but try this:
Go to settings - applications - Always On Display, 3 dots and uninstall updates.

It's ok. It added the talked night mode and updated the security patch level. The package says that it has improved WiFi performance but I couldn't observe any difference. I don't know why but I feel that the WiFi and signal reception is very poor even compared to my old S7 edge and secondary POCO F1. I hope they fix it otherwise it will be a bummer.
Did they update it to 25w fast charger go to settings about phone and then status and multiple the numbers at Rated (the bottom)

Won't update, doe, because I fear that the update might break my root, and by extension, the Magisk modules i've installed for the purpose of customizing my UI, meow.
Well, we do not need root for our phones, so we could update without any problem.
When we do not get security updates anymore, we (my wife and i) will buy a new phone.
