i have a question i want to go back to the original stock rom on my realme 6 can i install stock rom via twrp?
Yes you can go back to your original stock rom, but you will be needing the backup files of old rom and its flash image.

I was wondering if you can flash the stock recovery while running the Pure Stock Rom? I have read the return to stock thread and can not make heads or tails out of it. One says if you do it this way you still can't Update back to ICS. Another Says You can but you have to add Something to the process. The Radio I think. Is there a clear cut way to return the Note back to stock and be able to update it back to ICS? Or can you just flash the Pure Stock Rom and flash the Stock Recovery that came with the Phone when it had GB on it?
Pure stock from bigfau is rooted ..
Odin .tar is not...
Flash .tar rom via odin ..
Then flash your stock radio via CWM (flash CWM)
Flash counter reset via CWM
Then flash the stock 3e recovery in CWM
Then reboot ...
You will then be able to get update ...as you will be pure stock...g
I have a problem, hope you guys can help.
I have rooted my A116 & took backup of stock ROM. Then I flashed it with CWM bootloader. After this step I forgot to take backup of my Stock ROM & I have installed a custom ROM.
Now CWM is not detecting backup made with stock bootloader or recovery tool.
How I can install this old ROM back. Can I get stock bootloader so that I can flash it back & Install my stock ROM from backup.

Hi.I just saw that it is possible to install stock ROM via custom recovery,just by editing it.

Basically,I want to try this on my Huawei Y6 SCL-L01,which now it is running CM 12.1 with TWRP 3.0.2 and SuperSU(forgot the version).
My questions are:
1.Will it work?
2.Will it reinstall stock recovery,unroot and relock bootloader?
3.Will it work fine after installing stock rom?(when I restored nandroid with TWRP it wouldn't recognise my SIM Card.)
Any advices?I really want to get back to stock.

I have custom ROM installed, I need to know the exact steps to restore the phone as it was stock with recovery and stock eui OS.
like do I need to flash stock recovery first, then flash eui OS or few other steps to make sure I should not lose my IMEIs ?

I want to install twrp, but I also want future miui updates. Is there is any way I can backup stock recovery and kernel and restore them when I need to update miui

If you need the stock kernel and recovery, simply dirty flash the same stock ROM.
