Hello guys! I have made a guide regarding the inaccessible MIUI 12.5 beta release for surya that is available for download on XiaomiFirmwareUpdater. The following guide is my own method on installing it, making it 100% functional. This method can be the same, if not similar on other Xiaomi phones.

Good luck!

ello,
A while a go I got a xiaomi redmi note 3 from gearbest and it seems they installed a custom rom in it.
The version is miui 7.1 stable (7.1.99.99 LHOCNCL)
Kernel version 3.10.73-perf-gc7d7acd
How can I update the phone to the newest stable global version?
I tried to search on the forum but no luck.
Please if there is an easy way to do it, please post the thread link.
Thank you
Follow these steps and you should be good to go.
1. Download the latest Fastboot Global Stable ROM from here - http://bigota.d.miui.com/V8.0.2.0.L...DG_20160805.0000.29_5.1_global_11a3c80166.tgz
2. Download the MiFlash Tool from here - http://api.bbs.miui.com/url/MiFlash
3. Follow this guide to the letter - http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html
At the end, you should have a working official MIUI ROM on your device.
I need help to downgrade from miui 10 to miui 9 V9.6.11. I know the steps but I don't have the link to download the fastboot version. So, would you please support me with the link? I found out from opinions that it's the most stable version of the poco f1.
Everyone is waiting for miui 10,yet you want to down to ver 11,wondering I should stay at 14
Hello, my Mi Pad 4's persist partition is corrupted. However, when I followed the tutorial on the internet trying to fix it, I cannot fine persist.img in the fastboot image provided by Xiaomi.
Could someone be so kind to backup the persist image of his/her machine by using the TWRP and send this file to me? I appreciate your help very much.
I suggest trying to install Rom on xiaomi.eu website beta version ver. MIPAD4_9.8.29_v10-8.1.zip rom on the following link

Thank you for this! Got my persist back by flashong xiaomi eu rom.
I really dislike MIUI and want to add an unofficial LineageOS build. However tutorials are outdated, and following this tutorial broke my system and I had to re-flash:
Now I ask for information to learn how one should properly install any unofficial ROM, what are the things to do and what do I need to use. I have unlocked bootloader but I don't know anything more.
So if someone can instruct me on the needed and the steps I am thankful.

Thanks.
I am interested in LineageOS since I don't like PE much. The installation seems complicated and confuse and the guides vary. You can see the linked one forced me to flash MIUI.
So, do you know how to do this woth LineageOS? PE can't be the same since their recovery is needed.

It is stated there that the recommended firmware is 13.0.4 MIUI CN rom at firsthand I thought it was just a typo and it was supposed to be 13.0.5 MIUI CN, turns out 13.0.4 is a mi pilot rom.
I've tried ggling it but I can't seem to find a downloadable one? So anyone can provide? tia or 13.0.5 CN rom would suffice too?
Any noticeable changes from Pixel Experience 12 to PE 13?
