After upgrade the phone app from 62.0.360486235 to 67.0.383690429, dialing *#*#4636#*#* no longer switch to the "Testing" screen. Instead, the number punched in disappear and stay on the same dialer screen.
Did anyone have similar experience?
Well i just got the phone last few days, and started with the updates incl. app updates.
And for me it also does not work, but i have no idea if it worked before the updates.
But if it worked on my phone when i bought it, i do not know.

I was wondering the same as well, and experimented by uninstall the Phone update and try again, which now works.

I've been using since day one of ICS release. Never had problems as you described.

I have had this problem, but it has nothing to do with ICS itself, it is the updated version of Skype and it has affected lots of users of different phones and different versions of Android. As suggested by mharckk, downgrade your version and untick the option in Goole Play to "Automatically Update". I did that, I am running an older version and have not upgraded since about a month ago and I no longer suffer any issues that are present in the current version, which included but are not limited to Skype signing me out every 30 minutes and then refusing to sign me back in, and when you try to sign in it tells you your username and password are wrong. You kill it and restart the app and it does not auto sign in. The list of issues goes on.
Google it and you will find the Skype forum in which this has been discussed and you will find links to an older version of Skype as an .APK, follow the steps, uninstall the version you have installed and remember to uncheck "Automatically Update" in Google Play, you will find it will work.
Hope that is some help to you.

v2.7.0.907 is the version I am on, you can try using v2.6 and see if that helps with your network issues. I did occasionally have the "Wifi" connection issue on the latest version along with all the other errors, but not often, because it always signed me out.
Like I said, I have had zero issues with v2.7 try it and see, if your issues continue, then uninstall and find v2.6, see if that remedies your issues.
I hope it works.
Its working, sort of, tells me people are offline when they're online. Tells me messages are pending when I know they have been sent because i checked on my PC. I kinda need the official app because i rely on it for calls to my fiancee in the USA, else i'd be fine using IM+.

If you are using the version of Skype I suggested, it is then Official, just not the most recent version as the most recent version has major issues, there is a thread on the Skype forum about all these errors, yet Skype have not responded or even addressed the issues. And like you, I rely on Skype to talk to my fiancee in the US and the version I am on now, v2.7 is the most usable one I have found and the issues of the latest version do not exist.
I have seen what you described, I would suggest signing out and then back in if your Skype as been inactive for a long period of time, or just periodically sign out and back in, you will then see your contacts online, it occasionally happens to me.
Ok, so I'm on at&t and I got the notice for the 4.2.2 update. I wanted to do a factory reset before the update, which I did, but now when I go into settings and check for updates it tells me there are no update available. I was wondering if anyone has any insight as to whats going on and how I go about getting the update now. What's even more frustrating is the 24hr wait time between update attempts. Is there any way around any of this. By the way I am stock and unrooted.
Also a secondary question is about the notification pulldown. I don't know if it's just coincidental to this factory reset, or something that I amazingly never noticed, but I can pull down the notification tray from the lockscreen. I can't believe I've never noticed this before. Is this supposed to behave this way? Is there a setting that I've missed that was reset? It's annoying cause it easily unlocks when I put the phone in my pocket. I can't believe it's supposed to work that way as it completely defeats the purpose of the lock screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I had your exact same problem. I decided to follow the suggestion @grigoriisi provided and it worked. Step by step, this is how I pulled it off.
1- I reset the phone to stock settings, after which point I suffered your same problem. I checked for updates and it said my software was up to date.
2- I went to the Time/Date settings and changed the date by 1 full day. By this point, I checked again for updates and it found one and started downloading the small update.
3- After the phone rebooted, I checked again for update and it said my software was up to date.
4- I then moved further ahead in time by another full day. After this, I checked for update and it found the full update and began downloading it.
5- Afterwards everything went as expected. Once the phone was up and running (And fully updated) I reset the date to the correct one.
Note: Some networks (as in Office WiFi or not optimally configured home networks) may prevent the phone from reaching the update server in the first place. Check for the update using your LTE connectivity, and once it starts downloading switch to the WiFi.
the trick of checking for the update on LTE worked! Switched over to wifi after getting the notification and am updating. Thanks!

This has been bugging me for a while and google doesn't give me anyone with a similar problem.
After the second or third call I make, after a reboot, the cell network just drops. It's as if I was inside a tunnel, no signal.
If I go in Settings -> more... , the last item "Mobile networks" is greyed out and I can't access it.
It's like the chip came out or something and the OS doesn't find it... I don't know.
All I know is that a reboot returns the connection to the GSM network.... but that's inconvenient.
Does anyone know of a reason why this might happen? And how to fix ?
How old is your SIM card?
A friend of mine has the same problem and his SIM card is over 10 years old. I'm telling him to exchange it for a new one at his operator. When he finds time he'll do it. I can report back if it helped.

Almost a year later.... sorry about being away.
A few months ago, my phone ran into some weird trouble and it did a full system reset...
I took advantage of that to unroot it and let an update install (which was available for a while, but refused to due to having the phone rooted).
Since that update, I don't remember suffering this problem any longer.
So yeah, just perform the official update, if you have one available:
- Settings -> About phone -> Software Update
I'm now on build number JZO54K, Software version E46010p-EUR-XX, kernel 3.4.0 and it just works.
I bought the s6E yesterday and as soon finished the initial setup and samsung apps started updating i started to get the security notification and i've already made like 3 or 4 restarts of the phone and i still get the notification of threat of an unauthorised system change.
And when i restart my phone i get another notification, it appears only when i turn on the phone. It says "The applications of this device consume data and apply a cost for navigation. We suggest you hire a data package. Details with your service operator", the problem is that i already have a data plan of 5gb.
How i can fix this thing?? the phone is perfect, only those 2 annoyance.
My phone is not rooted, i don't know if it's worth to root it and also, i don't want to void the warranty.
All my last android phones were rooted and with custom roms, i don't want to fall to the dark side of rooting and roms again... xD
Thanks

This might help you get rid of the first message. It seems you have to update some kind of security policy. Hopefully it works for you.
http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-help-how/334236-unauthorized-app.html
or
http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...-s4-security-notice-after-update-4-3-a-5.html
The second message must have something to do with data warnings. Take a look under the data usage option in settings to see if there are notification settings. I think this is based on the data settings for your carrier. At first glance though it looks like some kind of malware because the English is a little off but it is Samsung after all.

Thanks i already saw that post and it didn't worked last time, i just cleaned data of security update policy and the log and restarted, then went to the settings to update the policies and had no updates, dont know if im doing it right or not..
I'm not really in love with the idea of reseting my phone, and in some cases, after reseting the phone, this still happens.

I have Smart Lock set to auto unlock when my watch is paired via Bluetooth. After a few hours I've noticed that it stops working and all the options under Smart Lock are missing.
If I reboot, everything works fine again for another few hours and then the same thing happens again.
Any ideas?

Can't say for sure but the problem seems to have gone away with April update from Samsung. Previous to this update I was experiencing the same thing. I would go into security settings/other/trust agents and toggle smart lock off then on again and it would work basically the rest of the day. Updated to Samsung April software and it hasn't happened yet (today).

It appears to be a Google issue, so hopefully it gets worked out soon. I really only pay attention to it at work when my Buds are connected, but I'm pretty sure It was only happening after March Google Services update and before April Samsung update.

God this is annoying
On my error report to Samsung (Members app) I received a reaction that
- multiple reports have been made
- Smart Lock is a Google application
- They reported the issue to Google
- Apparently it was/is a flag error in a Google server
- it should be good now after a restart.
I have the same issue.
