Hey guys just wanted to post this thread in case anybody else ran into the same issue but a couple days ago I ordered an N10 off ebay. It came yesterday with a pin code on it so I rebooted to recovery and tried a factory reset through there but as I figured that didn't work, google's FRP wouln't let me get into my new phone... So if you're stuck in the same position i'm in you need to first turn your phone off then as soon as your screen goes black hold the volume up and down buttons and plug your phone into your computer. It should put your phone into EDL Mode and at that point you could follow this thread and download the MSM Tool to completely reformat the entire device.
google frp bypass for n10 you will get your answer just finish doing it to my. FYI, i use same method for different oneplus mode and it works fine.
Please delete double post
I'm betting if you put it back to Android 10, many methods of FRP Bypassing from other devices will work on this one. I've frp bypassed Moto phones with Google Pixel methods. You just gotta kinda tweak it.
As long as you can get to youtube, you can then get to Chrome to open settings and do whatcha have to do

Today my friend took my Mobile phone for couple of minutes and later gave me a phone having a new screen lock over it. The phone when I gave was locked with PIN Protection and it had no access to the Internet. He doesn't know the password of the phone nor of my Google Account. He didn't even booted the phone into Recovery mode through which he could flash the bypassing zip available over different threads. He has done this on HTC, Sony, Samsung, and which so ever Android phone. He had done so even on iPhone 6. I want to know if this is possible like is there any master reset option to do on Android and if yes then how can even I do? Help and thanks in advance!
Your question, although apparently genuine, opens the doors wide open for it to be misused by other individuals. Hence it violates XDA Rules. So, need to close this thread for that reason.
So this is for a friend. She has important documents on it for her upcoming child custody case.
While at work her S21 had the dreaded black scree, after only 5 months. When the new screen was installed her pin number didn't work. The repairman told her that after 7 failures it automatically wipes the phone. They wouldn't release the phone back with the working screen without the pin working. So they put the bad screen back on. I can blindly get into recover mode, even into adb sideload. I can see the device, but nothing else works. I was hoping to pull the data off, but have hit a roadblock.
Any help would be appreciated.
Bootloader unlocked? No? Sorry, no one can do that.
You can try sending the device to one of the data recovery companies, choose one that many vouch for.
They'll basically remove the SD card and attempt to decrypt the data from it manually.
Hello together,
i´m looking for a way to get some personal data from an old phone.
Short backstory on the phone are pictures from a trip to Canada from 2018, two days after the trip the phone dropped in the sink and shorted the screen maybe something other too. Anyways I disassembled the phone and took the mainboard out and dried it. I searched online for a exact replacement phone at the time there was nothing reasonable available to test the board if its fine. Things happened and i lost track of the project and forgot about it. This year i stumbled across the phone and got momentum to maybe fix it. I found a phone silly cheap online and bought it. Now its working again and boots just fine luckily.
The problem is now it has a lock pattern to access it. My sister can´t remember the pattern used in 2018 at the moment we are at the 120min waiting time to try again. Its a non global stock rom with a locked bootloader?. Google services are side loaded on the phone and no Mi Account was created or bound to the phone. The google account doesn´t list this phone anymore in find my device. ADB is activated but not authorized and MTP is also enabled in the phone our WIFI is also saved and working. Fastboot and the original recovery works just fine and i´m familiar with flashing recoverys and roms.
I am willing to unlock the bootloader and flashing the recovery if there is no data loss (photos & videos) AND i am able to get previous mentioned data from the device.
Maybe someone is willing to help/assist before i am going to burn xxx Euros for a professional data recovery.
Thanks in advance
Rash
UPDATE: We where able to unlock the phone and get the data we needed.
Thanks anyway for reading!

i got this phone from ebay and it showed in the boot to the back page, the top of the screen power off=start=restart bootloader using the volume key
on the screen, i have these lines
fastboot mode in red
product-name-sm4350
variant-sm-ufs
bootloader version
baseband version
serial number-addmauh003maa2102764
secure boot-yes
device state=locked
anyway, outside of it being junk might it be salvageable? my guess is it was lost and they set it as lost and the seller said it was his but he somehow got it into this mode and could not get it out. so for the hek of it i'm giving it a try to see if i might be able to recover it.
so any ideas? when it boots it is in what looks like Spanish and they have numbers for the unlock code so i guess i could play the guess game. on that unless there is a way to get past the unlock codes? thanks

thanks i see that link but tell me i do not like others running my pc remotely is there a rootkit i can get tans do this myself? plus the phone does not have a sim in it and my pc will not see the phone so it may not be possible to unlock it remotely i had a few today that said they could see my phone and i did not have it plugged into the pc and it was not on so those were scams for sure. and i was on a website that claimed the same thing it looked like they were looking at my phone but the phone was not turned on nor hodded to the pc so i knew that was a scam
Dear all,
I've bought a second hand zenfone 8 flip. After Hard Reset I have to enter the old PIN to continue. The problem is the seller doesn't have the PIN and is not willing to take the phone back. ASUS is not willing to help because I bought it second hand.
I already flashed with raw firmware, and did a hard reset. The screen shows /data and /metadata are formatted but this is still coming up.
Any ideas?
You buy it with a MC or Visa?
Have the bank do a charge back... and return it.
Buy from trusted vendors always and only.
You can try something sent here: [Android][Guide]Hacking And Bypassing Android Password/Pattern/Face/PI | XDA Forums (xda-developers.com)
However. if none of them works you're locked out and you need the PIN of the previous possessor.
Haven't had that with my zenfone 8.
Thanks a lot!
Will give it a try.
Tried all of the methods without success.
Also tried "sudo fastboot -w" with result "erase not possible device locked"
It seems like there is some kind of the that prevents using the fone after hard/factory reset without the old pin.
One can see a lock on the top left during the setup process after factory reset.
Just strange enough my zenfone 8 didn't have that.
Any other ideas
Google it. I see a bunch of potential fixes when I do...
Any solutions beyond what you already got here will likely violate XDA's forum rules. Lots of stolen devices out there and XDA doesn't support that type of hacking. Not saying you stole it or that it was stolen, but you can see the problem this presents.
The real issue is with the vendor, personally I make them eat the device up their backside. Don't make this mistake again as you are part of the problem. Buy from trusted vendors only and always use a MC or Visa card to pay for it. Cover your six.
As I always used CM, Lineageos or other custom roms on used phones I never encountered FRP before. Thank You for the hint.
You are also right that this is strange behaviour from the seller.
As there seems to be no possibility to unlock like ZF8 I will try to return the phone although it is really nice.
Thank You for Your help
