Can anyone confirm if the A52 5G has ant+. I use this for connecting to sports accessories such as HRM, Speed/Cadence etc. Tried the Samsung Support chat but after 30 minutes no real idea. It shows up on some spec sites but not others.
TIA
It doesn't I'm afraid. Neither do the s20fe or any of the s21 devices.
****e move on samsungs part eh?
I bought it anyway and will connect my old external Ant+ dongle when needed. Seems to work. Great phone apart from that

Hello All,
I was hoping someone could help me. My old Samsung Galaxy Note 1 had started having issues. Broken charge port so had to swap batteries, broken headphone jack, pc not recognizing device, etc. So I bought a new phone (Nexus 5), and now I have this Note 1 laying around. I would love to use it as a media player (like an Ipod TOUCH or something). The problem I am having is that even with my wifi connected, NON of my network dependent apps will work. Facebook, Google Play, Youtube, Netflix, etc all seem to be looking for a cellular network, or a SIM or something. Is there a way I can use this as a wifi only device that all my network dependent apps will work (they same as they did before? I don't understand why I couldn't. Converting my old Iphone 4 into a wifi only Ipod Touch basically, was no problem. Connected to my wi-fi and life went on as normal. Please Help.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have this problem in either of my sim-less notes. I was going batty for a few days, getting notifications on both phones. Is WiFi set up correctly?
I'd try a reset to factory
And, wait, what's the point of turning an old phone into a media player if you say the headphone jack is broken?
Also - charging port piece is under $20 shipped (or it was when it failed on my friend's note) and the repair job isn't too hard.
Hello,
Basically what I want to do is use some sort of DTV antenna to get live local tv onto the tablet. I have found a few products that are designed for this, but none of them work in North America. It looks like I will have to get a regular antenna, and somehow get the picture onto the tablet, which is hard because most every antenna outputs a coax connection. A perfect solution would be something like the Elgato EyeTV W, but again, it does not work in North America.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Like the title implies, I was using a galaxy s7 to connect. Now that I have upgraded, I have not been able to connect to the adapter as usual. I have upgraded firmware on the adapter to the current version. The phone also updated to its most current version. I have been able to connect to a Samsung tv via smart view. It holds the connection.
I see on Microsoft's website that listed for Android support only goes to version 5.0. Why would this protocol not work though... thought it was standard.
Anyone have suggestions?
Anyone using another dongle to connect direct to tv without having Wi-Fi available?
Regards
That is the same problem for me. I wish I had a solution. It worked perfectly yesterday. Today my note 8 got the oreo update. Now i connect, shows the screen mirror as normal, but disconnects after about 2 seconds.
Microsoft wireless firmware is 2.0.8350. Wish I could roll back the android update.
Not getting much response on here but I think I found that Samsung has stopped supporting MHL a crucial protocol for using anything other than Samsung's smart view connectivity or Google Chromecast. These are not the best options for me and a serious setback for a new phone and operating system. I hope they change their mind if not I may be looking at other options.
Many are ditching the old protocols. You just got on it at the start.
Do you happen to know if there are any non-wifi dependent screen mirror options (either wired or wireless) that will work to an hdmi source?
I guess the usb-c to hdmi would still work. Miracast is the component no longer available?
As the title says really.
Since the October security and update patch came out and was installed on your device, have you had issues with devices connecting to your S9/S9+ or frequent disconnects?
I am having particular issues with my glucose monitor, but also my car, my headphones and some speakers. I've seen a couple of reports of people with issues with smart watches too. So, have you had any issues with devices like these, or any other Bluetooth device, since your phone got the October patch?
Thanks
I own a European S9+ and No I've had no problems before or after the 28 October update with my BT or anything else I can think about.
I use a pair of BT headphones that I use multiple times each week every week.
So sorry mine is working as o intended.
Where did you buy your S9? Europe or US?
I'm thinking it could be that EU phones has the exynos chip and US has the snapdragon.
So maybe some faulty patch for the snapdragon ones but we who got exynos did not suffer from it.
Just a broad guess my man.. Good luck!
Contact Samsung ?

I'm in the EU, so with an Exynos chip.
It seems that a few users of S9, S9+ and Note 9 have been having issues with two very specific Bluetooth devices since the update - the MiaoMioa and Dexcom G5 and G6 - these are Bluetooth transmitters for glucose levels which us diabetics needs to maintain a healthy blood glucose range (pairing with a phone allows us to get alerts for high/low glucose etc to help us maintain better control of our condition)
Samsung don't agree there is a problem, and are only offering a factory reset as a solution, but as this is happening with different transmitters made by different manufacturers it appears it is a Bluetooth problem rather than anything else. I have had intermittent issues with connections to my car, wireless speakers and headphones for example.
Qualcomm on Sprint here, but no issues at all. Connects to my home phone system, three different cars, and BT headphones without issue.
As title states how can I get around AT&T stupid cross platform messaging block. Absolutely stupid. Samsung does not offer an unlocked version of this tablet forcing you to buy it through a carrier and AT&T locks out key features. Which is absolute crap. Apple is allowed to sync there devices no problem why not us? How can I get around this???
IDK if you still need help. I'm not sure what phone you are using, but I was able circumvent it. I have a Note 20 Ultra from AT&T as well and a wifi only Tab s7+. I was able to load a U1 Firmware onto my Note (This will wipe the phone). I can now sync call and messages. It still doesn't want to work over mobile all the time, but if they are on the same wifi, or if my phone is on a wifi network and the S7+ is connected to the Auto Hotspot from my phone, it works pretty well. Here's the link to the U1 FWs for the Note 20 Ultra. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/ota-and-non-ota-firmware-for-n986u-and-n986u1.4143833/
I can't attest to this working on the Carrier version of the S7+ though. Hope you can find something helpful here.
Best of luck.
