@Alexey71 thanks for the link
Are you experiencing the error as well?
I want to diagnose the cause of the error first.

Yes. Android 10 was due to the modification of system files
Try via PC
Code:
adb shell logcat
and ckick try again
Thank you @Alexey71
Modification of system files might be the problem for me too. I am rooted with Magisk.
I got a screenrecord and a logcat (with Logcat Reader app) but I don't know what to look for. Any help is appreciated.

Hash-sum SHA256 does not coincide. Probably some module magisk or other root app changed system files. Just update via full ota, all data and settings are saved. Goog luck

[Q] "unable to capture screen, try again" and impossible delete screenshots folder!
Hi,
I have some issue to take the screenshots. Everytime that i take a screenshot I get a toast notification "unable to capture screen, try again" (as u can see from the image); its very strange because, actually, the screenshot is saved normally.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
as you can see from the screen i tryed to delete the folder by terminal with root permission (command su) but i just get permission denied; I tryed also with es explorer files same result!
If i delete the screenshots folder with my computer, it works!
Some ideas?

What firmware were you on? And were you trying to access DRM protected content?

I already tried to fix it by flashing the current peristent.img of the newest fastboot image (mido_global_images_V9.2.1.0.NCFMIEK_20180113.0000.00_7.0_global_88ecfa543f)
But the problem still exists.
/edit
same problem in safe mode
/edit
i tried to restore them via dd (not the same command but almost "dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist of=/sdcard/persist.img")
/edit
tried to delete my fingerprints https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/guide-delete-fingerprint-profils-via-t3686722
but can't find the user.db. the folder is empty. i renamed the settings_fingerprint.xml, but didnt help.
/edit
after taking a look in the logs i found this error
FINGERPRINT_ERROR_NO_SPACE = 4, /* No space available to store a template */.
are they stored in another partition?
i can't find a working solution. any ideas?
Thank you!
I've been trying to fix this all day and I can't find anything that works. Basically, I successfully rooted my Honor 7x (BND-L24) running android oreo, using twrp and everything was working perfectly. Then I tried installing xposed framework and now it won't boot. It just gets stuck on the Honor screen. I can't find a twrp backup to restore to, and I've tried disabling xposed, but it doesn't seem to have installed at all. I also tried flashing the Xposed uninstaller, but it didn't work. I can boot into twrp using fastboot, but I don't know how to reset everything. It seems like the solution is to flash a twrp backup for this specific model, but I am unable to find one. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
You should flash over with 'HuRUpdater' the same firmware you are on.
I guess it's:

This worked! Thanks!
I have Y5 prime has EMUI 8.0 based on Oreo 8.1
Got September security patch, installed it, ran into some problems, factory reseted it, then it was fine.
Afterwards, had this weird bug that prevent me from allowing apps to access data usage. I don't recall having that. I go to the menu through Settings>Apps and notifications>Special app access>usage access I can see apps which are allowed and those not. But i click and nothing happens. Any suggestions? I wanted to use some data montioring apps so it required this permission. Where other permissions can be toggled on/off normally (ex. Draw over other apps or Modify system settings)
I tried safe mode but with no luck.

back up your data 'cause you'll likely need to flash the device.
reach out to your carrier first and see what they can do for you
Newbie question. What does "flash the device" mean ?
In short, flashing means installing a new custom rom or re-installing the stock rom due to some error or issues.

Flashing is basically installing the update manually because, in this particular case, it is failing to do so automatically.
