Hi,
I've recently noticed a really bad jittery/ choppy playback when and only when the screen is off.
Happens with both MortPlayers and with native audio app.
I am currently on Android 4.1.2 official release, rooted.
Googling around I haven't found any other similar problem.
Any help appreciated
Many thanks.
Cheers.
Fixed
Solved -- trough a reboot.

Greetings! I have an Asus TF201 and here is my sound issue. Sounds and music can randomly turns off when playing various games. In some games switching to home screen and back can help, but for other games it's only restart fixing the problem. System sounds such a touch clicks or notifications are remain working. The problem was on stock Android 4 and still exist on custom katkiss 7.1 - 026. Can someone help me with this, please?
Ya
Hey guys! I am facing a bit a problem and I only noticed it only a couple of days back. After using anything that utilizes sounds like youtube, watching any video on any other app etc. the media volume suddenly lowers and keeps on lowering almost as if somebody was pressing the vol down button and even if I try to increase it it still lowers when I momentarily let go and then it goes up or down to the max .
I was using Aex 8.1.0 treble build before and it was working fine . Since the problem surfaced I have changed to Cosmic OS treble and then now using Dot OS treble but the problem is still there so it probably is a hardware issue but I have never dropped my phone ever.
I tried using magisk audio mod for music apps and then Sauron but that didn't make a difference. I tried both rooted and unrooted version of rom and that also doesn't seem to make a difference. I will repeat that it only started randomly 2 days back.
Any help or insight into the problem and possible fix(and the cost of it ;_; ) will be very much appreciated .
P.S I am noob so forgive me for all the mistakes I may have made
My model is SM-G965F/DS
Youtube is in sync even my videos playing through mxplayer and music aswell but when I play games, audio tends to delay for like a second. It's bothering me, I did try turning off wifi and scan nearby devices and still the same results. Tried 3 bluetooth earphones so far and all of them delays. Even my samsung level active on aptx codec. Is there anyway to fix this? will changing rom fix this? settings on changing the codec doesn't seem to stick.

A little bit different of a situation that I've got here, but I, too, began to notice the Bluetooth lag issue when playing music from my phone on my pioneer head unit after updating to the One UI beta. It got to the point where I couldn't even skip tracks and the album/artist/song title wouldn't even show up on it either. It just said "No Data Provided"
Anyway, I restored an old smartswitch backup and everything was working like it was supposed to again. I finally just re-updated to pie again, hoping that whatever was goin on with the Bluetooth in the beta would be fixed in this "Official" Pie update....yeah, not so much
meet the problem once i was playing PUBG, and solved with Pie.
