I'm trying to get ahold of my Huawei Honor 7s bootloader code, and was following the above guide. I compiled and ran the code correctly, and it immediately opened a screen on my phone asking if I wanted to unlock my bootloader. If I press yes, it fails and kills the above code. But when I don't press anything and leave the code running, my cpu usage is at zero and it isn't doing anything.??

I obtained a code for my Honor v10 and stored it on my PC for the future since I'm not interested to load custom ROMs nowadays (I'll do it when phone becomes old & excluded from official udpates). Will the service termination have any effect on my ability to unlock my phone with the code I saved in the future?
I bought ANE-LX1 (P20 Lite) on June 2018 and immediately unlocked the OEM from the developer options (automatic factory reset was done then), but i never rooted or installed custom rom, recovery...etc.
All updates was normally arriving and i was updating my phone regularly (current build is: ANE-LX1 8.0.0.170(C185)).
I decided to root my device using fastboot, but when the device is in recovery mode i can see:
Code:
Phone Locked -- (in green font color)
FRP Unlock -- (in red font color)
When i try to flash using fastboot i got:
Code:
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
While searching online i found that Huawei decided to lock bootloader for all users (so we buy their hardware which contains an opensource software and then they lock it... PERFECT!), and it seems that the only way now is to get the unlock code by contacting third-party codes providers, pay money and they guarantee to provide the correct unlock code (pay and pray) + I will have to expose my device information.
My questions are:
-How can i see in the developer options that my OEM is already unlocked, while the recovery is not convinced?
-Do i really have to unlock it again with the code "after purchasing it ofcourse -- which i will never do" (e.g. using fastboot)?
-Is there any solution from xda experts for my case rather than buying codes and exposing my device information or stay with a Locked bootloader?

Thanks in advance for your kind support.
and Thanks Huawei for putting us as a development community in this situation, where we have to pay for the black markets to unlock our own phones in an unofficial way.
Yes please, shoot some answers!

IMEI, product S/N (if i correctly understood the process, i have to provide my device info so they can extract the bootloader unlock key)
According to the information that's available, the code used to unlock the bootloader is unlocked in a very complicated way and it's basically unique for everyone. Now, I don't know how much this is true and how and why these people got their hands on the "method" of creating the code, but no one has been able to find a way that's guaranteed to work or even work at all, except for, of course, these sites that make you pay for it. I hope I'm not mistaken and forgive me if I am, but I don't think there is any way to obtain the bootloader code manually or without exposing your information to random strangers on the internet.
Need to unlock bootloader with dc unlocker to get unique unlock code. Look guide bootloader unlocking
To unlock bootloader of several Nokia android devices you need to be on Security Patch prior to August 2018 and you need a Unique Unlock Key for your device.
{Mod edit}
If you satisfy the above conditions then here are the steps to unlock bootloader -
1. Reboot to Fastboot/Download Mode
2. Check for your devices using the following command
Code:
fastboot devices
3. Type
Code:
fastboot flash unlock unlock_key.bin
Note - Replace unlock_key.bin file name with full name of your unlock key file.
4. Type
Code:
fastboot oem unlock-go
5. You'll see a bootloader unlock confirmation prompt screen press power button to confirm.
6. Again reboot to Fastboot/Download Mode
7. Follow Step 2 again
8. Follow Step 3 again
9. Type
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock_critical
10. Follow Step 5 again
Now you've unlocked your Nokia Device Successfully.

This part is what I don't understand. How is it possible to downgrade a bootloader locked device from android 10 to Oreo without a signed android Oreo image that is accepted by the device?
There are only two options to get your phone downgraded with locked bootloader, first is Nokia Service Center and second is the websites that I've mentioned in the 1st post they'll downgrade your phone and provide you the unlock service.

isn't firmwarte DRG-237-WW.nb0 a signed firmware perfect for downgrading (with OST tool or SUT tool) ?
real question, i just bought a TA-1116 yesterday
If the image is signed, it can be flashed. They might have obtained signed firmware image from the employee in service center.

How to unlock bootloader without PC Nokia 6.1 plus
Techmesto released the tutorial to unlock the bootloader for some Nokia phones (including Nokia 6.1 plus) on june 21, 2021. Here is the link https://www.techmesto.com/guide-unlock-bootloader-nokia-android-phones/ (You must have a Windows machine)
I used it to unlock mine. It works
EDIT: It works. The timezone is EST as per my digging. I was able to unlock it for free.
Leaving below comment for historical reasons:
Their unlock works, apparently, 15 times a day, and the timezone is not mentioned. It is obviously an advertisement for their paid service.
From their website:
The OTP is valid for 15 minutes from generation.
Only 15 devices will be supported for unlocking in a day. After this further generation of OTPs will be disabled for the day.
Please contact us in case you have a bulk requirement.
There is no reason to believe they allow even 15 OTPs or even 1. Since they are obviously able to generate them in "bulk", I think it is best to not mention them here. Let them do their advertisement on Nokia forums.

@cubancigar11 You should first try it before dismissing it as advertisement. I used it to unlock my bootloader a few months ago.
Thanks. I was also able to unlock it after many tries. I have edited my comment to reflect this. Unfortunately there "donate" link is broken, otherwise I would have donated $5 which they quote as price.

That is awesome . Happy bootloading @cubancigar11
Huawei officially doesn't support the unlocking codes after 2018. But with the help of KingoRoot, you can still unlock Huawei bootloader[/URL]. But if you want to use another way then you need to unlock codes which you'll get by following these steps-
You have to go on the Huawei unlocking page.
Then create an account and login successfully.
Now a pop-up notification will come up showing that "I have read and accepted all terms above" just tap the yes box and go to the next.
Now they'll ask for the information of the device, just provide the required information and tap on the submit button.
Once you submit details correctly, Soon you'll get the unique 16 digit bootloader to unlock the password or code for your Huawei device.
Save this code in notes or somewhere safe drive.
By following this way you can get Huawei to unlock codes.
Hope it helps.

Sharing this here as I’m sure many people have been waiting for something like this.
This guide will allow you to unlock the bootloader on your US mmWave variant Xperia 1 IV (XQ-CT62).
This is using the new qunlock tool from Infinity Box. You need to buy a token from a reseller.
I used this reseller and it took a few days to get the email. https://***/server/Sony-Xperia-Cable-Unlock--FRP-Removal--0-Counter-Supported--qUnlock-S1-Unlock-Tool?pid=3
Another Xperia 1 IV owner used this reseller and got his token immediately, link here: https://***/resellerpricing/server
Download the tool (qUnlockTool.7z) from infinitybox here: https://***/00/pub.php?dir=software/other/qUnlockTool
Archive pw is 1111
Mod. edit: links removed. alecxs
Run the tool, turn phone off. Click “sim unlock”, after putting in your token. Then, hold the volume down key on your phone while plugging it in to a usb port until the notification LED turns green and the tool recognizes it. Make sure you have the drivers installed from the archive before trying.
If successful it will say “calculating”, will generate the unlock for you server side, then write to the TA partition and flip the bootloader unlock flag to true.
When complete, unplug and boot into android. You will see “bootloader unlockable = true” in the service menu. Enable OEM unlocking in developer settings, then reboot to fastboot using ADB or by holding volume snd plugging in to USB with the device off.
Follow the instructions for unlocking the bootloader on Sony’s website: select Xperia 1 IV, and generate the unlock code. Paste the unlock code into fastboot, then do fastboot oem unlock.
You do lose widevine L1 and you also lose the TEE key, so only basic attestation is working, as expected and as was the case with the Xperia 1 III as well.
Relocking the bootloader will restore the keys.
So first off, this worked. Thank you so much!
2nd of all traditionally talking about that particular tool (because it is paid) is frowned on this forum. Might have to sanitize the post a little!
