I know that the transformer prime has Native Ps3 Controller support. You plug it in via dock and after a few minutes it works over standard bluetooth.
Is there a patch or something for the galaxy s5 active?
I have root.
and I know about six axis, but six axis will not work after I tried everything and it turns off bluetooth which I use for my android wear watch.
I tried using the PC tool and an OTG cable, neither recognized the controller. Randomly i got it connected once, but after I disconnected it, it never worked again.
I tried connecting a pendrive, a mouse and a keyboard through an OTG adapter and they all worked fine.
However, I couldn't get my wired xbox 360 controller to work. The device doesn't show any sign that it's trying to detect it.
I also tried connecting a usb SNES-ripoff controller that I had laying around and it actually worked right away, but half of the buttons on it wouldn't get registered on any emulator I tried.
Has anyone managed to properly connect a wired xbox controller to their Redmi Note 2?
i tried to connecting the wireless one (im not have the wired version), and tried this tutorial, and can't get it work. I think its because original kernel not support it, its lack of xpad.ko module.
and im sure the wired one can't work too, because there was not key layout for xbox controller in /system/usr/keylayout/. yeah we can copy it manual, but our kernel not support.
CMIIWsorry for bad english.
Good day guys. I've tried connecting my Ps4 and xbox1 controllers to the device via USB but nothing works. The Ps4 controller connects via Bluetooth after some trying, but still does not register inputs. Both devices run fine on the pc via the same USB cable.
Am I missing something?
Can anyone assist?
Edit: android version 7.1.2
I even tried opening the box and using the hidden ports. Still no controller response. Just lights up but no input whatsoever.
In for info. 2gb/16ram h96 pro plus android box
Hello, everyone!
As I have not found anything on this, neither on XDA, nor using friend Google, I'm posting this hoping to find a solution.
So I have an original PS4 bluetooth controller and it works like a charm with other devices (Win 8.1 laptop, K1 Shield on Android 7, Sony ZX2 on Android 8). but not on the M5.
Trying to pair it with the M5 first brings up an error message "Pairing failed Incorrect pairing key or the device you want to pair with is configured incorrectly. Tray again after viewing Help." ... which doesn't help.
A second attempt will then magically pair the device, but to no effect. It is shown as paired and coected, but will not work with the tablet and apps supporting controllers will not recognize that a controller is connected. Also the controller itself shows the "idle" instead of the "connected" light.
So, does anyone have any ideas how to solve this? I re-paired the controller with all other devices, just to make sure, and it worked. So the controller is still functioning.
If it's anything like the DS3 (dual shock 3) then the controller is very finicky and requries custom software. There's probably an app for it, the Sony phone will have the driver pre installed because it's sony, and probably the shield too.
If it's connected, then yeah there's no hardware fault, just needs the driver.

Well, PS3 controllers truly are difficult to set up, but not so PS4 controllers: Turn on bluetooth, put them into pairing mode, pair, done. I had my PS3 controller with Sixaxis running after much hassle but the PS4-one is really easy to set up. And I did it on multiple Android devices.
And then comes the M5 ...
By the way: Sixaxis does not support the M5.
Yeah I did notice the same thing on my M5 Pro.
I wanted to play the odd mame game with it, and as you say it paired on the 2nd attempt, but I couldn't get any controls to respond to any buttons/triggers etc.
I haven't tried using an OTG cable to see if it will work via cable, but disappointing that it connects but still doesn't work.
Can confirm that DualShock 4 and wired Switch controllers work with a USB C OTG cable.
Hi, it looks like that the Pad have a general Problem with Bluetooth controllers, because i tried a snakebyte controller:vr and the controller hangs or it is "endless scrolling" and in games very unprecise. the same Controller work with a P20 Pro like charm. So it looks like the Problem ist the m5 Pro. Oh, and the same with the PS4 Controller M5 + wired Ps4 working, M5 + Bluetooth PS4 "He´s dead jim", P20 Pro wired/bluetooth Ps4 working.

Is there something new about this issue? Someone tried with custom rom?
Hey guys,
So I recently bought a Hama USB hub, which connects to my phone with usb type c and its working fine with mouse and keyboard but not with a controller. I see the mouse cursor if I plug in, I can click on things etc... If I connect the controller it gets power but the games dont detect them. It only works with Steam Link which is weird. I tested it on 2 phone, Honor 10 and Mi Mix 2. I have a wireless xbox 360 controller and a wired Logitech F310. Please help, cant find a proper answer on google.
