Don't use TWRP on Redmi 9, use SHRP.
SHRP is based on TWRP, with added features and Redmi 9 support, unlike TWRP.
There are unofficial versions of TWRP modified to work on Redmi 9, but some of these contain errors and bugs.
SHRP is the best Recovery available for Redmi 9 currently.

As long as you unlocked the bootloader, and properly flashed to the stock vbmeta with these parameters:
(--disable-verity --disable-verification). You most likely won't go into a bootloop after flashing either boot or recovery.
I already unlocked the bootloader.. I'm new on this though I need magisk root.help me out with the correct steps to follow.. Redmi 9 RJCMIXM (miui version 12.5.3.0).thanks
Flashes fine, but when I try to boot into it I just see "Redmi" logo. It then turns off and boots into system

The vbmeta.img that you've provided is not the same as the one contained in the Miui 12.5.3 fastboot file. Should I use the one I found or the one you posted? vbmeta that I found is attached, btw.
Actually, disregard my post about the two not matching. Apparently it doesn't matter what file you use, as long as it's the same size, because all you're doing is telling Android not to use the file with the --disable-verification tag.
I flashed the recovery file and then boot to recovery SHRP And then enter the recovery add-ons and flash the file which prevents going back to the official recovery and you will not need any other file
Is it going to work on newest miui update 12.5.3? It was released few days ago for lancelot on EEA and I am wondering if i need to wait for shrp update or it should work if i follow all the steps from tutorial?

Of course, you can install recovery SHRP on this latest update, and after installing it, go to the place of additions and flash the file that prevents the return of the official recovery. Congratulations.

Hi guys, today I have a good news for le pro 3 elite users. We have MIUI 10 BETA!
Steps to install: DOES NOT NEED GAPPS!
First, remember your risks!
Let's go...
Download the rom, install the rom *WITH TWRP 3.2.2 *(wipe/format data, *OTG/PC) and here we have an issue: TWRP is broken! Now, go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/how-to/leeco-le-pro-3-root-t3476560 and put your X722 on Fastboot mode (NOTE* THE ROM IS WORKING, BUT MIUI BROKES TWRP) and make a flash on Minimal with le pro 3 connected on your PC. Now, put the original recovery from LEX722, reboot, put it on recovery mode (THE ORIGINAL RECOVERY ONLY), unmark the first option (chinese update) and mark the second option (wipe). Now reboot your phone and miui 10 will be installed correctly. To install the TWRP, just install like a any other rom.
Second way: Use 3.2.2 TWRP and install MIUI (does not need gaps) and done. If you have an issues with touch, just put any older version of twrp using fastboot method!
How to fix possible issues:
For DPI issues install root and install EASY DPI Changer to change dpi settings. Choose the best for you.

No,it happens because normally people install the ROM after of Oreo but when you come of previous version, for example Nougat or Marsmallow it does not happen nothing. You only would install TWRP 3.2.2.
The installation of MIUI 9 get wrong the first time but you only should reboot to recovery mode and install again .
The problem of encryption maybe before you use 8.1 rom. To go back from 8.1 to 6.0 stock rom need to format data (lose all data on internal storage).
I think maybe same thing apply if you want to go back from 8.1 rom to 7.1 (in this case Miui 10 which based on 7.1 Android).
if the above is true it's not TWRP version issue but what I mentioned above is the problem.

Yes all you say is true so you should format data always you have a problem with encryption.
Format data and use TWRP 3.2.2. IF YOU LOSE YOUR TOUCH ON TWRP, JUST PUT ON FASTBOOT AND PUT 3.2.1-1. MIUI CAN BE INSTALLED WITH 3.2.2 WITHOUT ORIGINAL RECOVERY.

What? Why are you wiping all partitions? I install magisk(25.1) with this twrp without any errors. You can only wipe partitions if you are going to install custom rom, please note that other than ported eu rom, there are no available custom rom for 10c yet, maybe soon, or after a few months

Tried EU ROM (v13.0.8) in Redmi 10C but honestly it still have some bugs (minimal)
Bugs i found:
- Volume Slider is not optimized in landscape mode (not centered).
- YouTube: When you watch videos on full screen, you can't go back to portrait mode.
- Gesture Navigation is not fully optimized in some apps (you'll see tiny black screen below, kinda different from Global version)
I just go back to Global ROM, flash magisk, flash some modules, and customized my device a little bit

Redmi 10C was released just 3-4 months ago. It will take a long time to wait for normal ROMs
It seems to me that MIUI global works very well, as for MIUI

Yeah, but in Redmi 10C i experienced random freezing for a few seconds, later it will show "System UI isn't responding", i think it's because of MIUI 13 is not fully optimized yet, luckily i have root, i already fixed that by flashing MemeUI Enhancer
Btw, do you guys know the default data partition for Redmi 10C? Is it f2fs or ext4? I just can't find any info about it lol
I'm currently using f2fs

it seems to me that f2fs, because xiaomi would not use the old ext4 in new devices with the UFS 2.2 memory standard

Thanks bro, i also thought the same thing, i just want to confirm it, actually ext4 is also good and more safer and stable than f2fs, but i still prefer f2fs, i had no problem with it

hi i want to install shrp or twrp and I'm currently on miui 12.0.1 and android 10. Which ver. of shrp or twrp should I install.
Just for general knowledge can you tell me whether I should be concerned about the twrp and the android version on which I'm installing it?
For twrp you should be able to install this twrp and other twrp but shrp I'm not too sure of
My phone isnt detected in sideload, is that because of the TWRP or have I done something wrong?

Used a twrp from the messenger group and it worked fine.
Does it work on the M2003J15SG model with the MIUI 12.5.5 RJOEUXM? (1st April 2022 Patch)
It has an unlocked bootloader and I'm trying to escape the MIUI.

Yeah, I saw this recovery earlier. Will it wipe my phone and internal storage after flashing this? What, if the flash fails or something happens during that? I've heard, that MediaTek phones are harder to unbrick. I just need a root to get rid of the MIUI apps. Unless there will be another daily driver ROM like the Project Elixir that is in the beta. The only thing I would miss will be the Redmi Buds 3 Pro pop-up message, or the Mi Band 5 proximity unlock. It's wonderful that someone is still trying to develop something better for that phone.
Edit: Ignore my broken grammar.

You can rest easy my friend i have used shrp for android 11 and it's great
It will not wipe your data
And my phone was rooted while flashing shrp
Just don't forget to disable avb before flashing both magisk patched boot.img and
shrp(fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img)
Coz I have faced the aftermath of not doing it which got me stuck in a bootloop.

Does this twrp support installation of custom roms and have close avb2.0 option?
Custom ROM installs should be supported but avb2.0 patching isn't included in the recovery as this is a clean unmodified twrp
doesn't boot from recovery.img not from fastboot boot either
