Hi everyone
I have 7T Pro and I tried to install LinageOS 18.1 on it over this weekend. I followed the directions on this link. https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/hotdog/install
After many hours, I was able to install the OS on the phone and when I was done, I slipped my T-Mobile sim in the phone and I get nothing. I tried it time and time again and no luck. The sim is not being recognized but I have another phone with GrapheneOS and the sim works fine.
Have I missed anything? does anyone else has this issue?
Thank you
If your phone is started, type #*06#
Then you can see if your imei stated on both slots. If you have 00000000 imei that is the perhaps reason why
Thanks for the reply but when Im in the OxygenOS it shoes my IMEI
but when I switch it to LinageOS nothing happens. My wifi is not working and my sim is not being recognized.
Anyone had the same problem? I have 7T Pro McLaren Edition
Please help. Thank you
Are you using the build for the op 7t pro or the op 7t pro McLaren? As there chips are different.

dear seniors, believe me i've tried to search for awhile for a solution and posts with similar problem, but unfortunately i coundlnt find it.
so here's the deal,
i am in indonesia, for some reason certain certain xiaomi devices that is sold in here is bootloader locked and 4G LTE BLOCKED.
unsatisfied with the condition i tried to find a solution for that and yes, the answer is there.
after fooling around for a few days (official unlock request and granted, rom flashing, and custom recovery flashing), i managed to somehow break the device (baseband "unknown", and IMEI missing for both sim slots). Tried to find a solution (yes, there was a solution to this), but before executing the solution, because it seems it can only recover IMEI in sim slot 1, i tried to flashback the rom with the original official rom (global stable 8.0.5.0) and the problem was fixed, both IMEI EXISTED.
so i assume the problem was gone, kept using it for few days with only 1 sim card, everything was fine, but then i tried to use 2 sim cards at the same time, and there it goes like this :
- when i use both sim slots, both sim card keeps restarting to find a signal, its like they cannot get a hold on a stable signal.
- when i use only sim 1, but sim 2 is used for SD card, everything is good.
- when i use only sim 2, but sim 1 is empty, the problem persisted, the signal keeps on restarting.
by those conditions i assume the problem is in sim card slot 2.
I noticed this redmi note 3 only have 1 IMEI number for both simcards, but i dont think that is the problem, because i checked other redmi note 3 phone, they dont have this problem (they also havent tried to unlocked BL, flash roms, etc) and i also tried to write the IMEI 2 SIM and changed the last number, so the IMEI on sim 1 and sim 2 is different by the last number, but still the problem persisted.
i really hope any one here will be kind enough to help me with this problem.
REDMI NOTE 3 PRO SNAPDRAGON, OFFICIAL FIRMWARE V8.0.5.0 LHOMIDG.
THX A BUNCH
Not having solution..best bet to read the threads about EFS recovery.
But a question, why have you posted to wrong section? This is Guide section and not Q&A
Sent from RN3 Pro
I bought an Xiaomi Redmi note 3 last month December supposed to be my mom's Christmas gift. I have an Xiaomi Redmi MIUI 7 but the one came was MIUI8.
So I had to downgrade to MIUI 7 then unlock bootloader. - then install CM13. The problem is when I placed her sim card in and try to activate it. MetroPCS said the activation was a success? but the issue was the phone can't detect the sim card and there is no service on the phone.
Stranges part was when I went back to twrp to restore MIUI 8. The phone was able to detect the sim card and I got data service plan.
Does anyone has the same issue? any help please.
im using the rn3 on mpcs and i get service across all roms.
Hello
I have a problem with my Redmi Note 3 (kenzo). After updating to the latest Xiaomi.eu ROM version (7.2.24) I cannot get the sim cards to work. They varies between not being detected at all, and being detected, but not being able to connect to the networks.
I still have an IMEI for both slots, as well as MAC address for wifi/bluetooth, but the baseband version is "unknown". The sim cards works in another phone (and other sim cards don't work in this).
I'm not really sure where to start looking, so any help is appreciated.

I have same on my Kate . Everything working great and it has baseband version -8976_GEN_pack-xxxxxxxxx...... I know its a different file for Kenzo but likely related to file you downloaded. Either you downloaded wrong one(xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote3Pro_7.2.24_v8-6.0.zip) or the file got corrupted somewhere along the way.
I suggest you do the whole process again.
Have you checked your phone is a Kenzo ?

I am on 7.2.24 and i have no problems as such. I updated it from 7.2.16 via in built Updater app. I have zcx twrp installed. Since you have unknown baseband, my advice would be flash the latest firmware.....If unsuccessful then flash using MI flash tool via EDL mode

Hi;
I received Xiaomi Redmi 6A from a week but when I install 2 sim cards, the sim card in slot #1 work fine all the time BUT the problem is with slot #2 the sim card not activated and work by it self for maybe a minute and then turn off again.
When I tried to swap the sim cards to check if the sim works or not it works in slot #1 and the swapped sim from slot 1 doesn't work in slot#2.
this problem is not with my device only my friends got the same device and they have the same problem as well.
I searched the web for solution and found people talking about " Find My Device " turn it off and other methods, I followed all of them but still the same.
I hope you can help with this issue, thank you all.
