I bought a A52 5G mobile, but unfortunately it appears to be China version - SM-A5260/DS. As i live in UK, It would be convinient to switch it to European, preferably UK region. The problem is that there is no "Euro" firmware for SM-A5260. Could I flash UK firmware of SM-A526B? The phone is unlocked, knox not tripped. Currently it says: AP: A5260ZHU1AUH5,CP: A5260ZHU1AUH5, CSC: A5260OZS1AUH5, Model: SM-A5260/DS.

Been having a few problems with redraws and then my internet wouldn't open at all even after reset,it was like it had vanished,then i was getting loads of freezes and you couldn't open phone as swipe wasn't working

You need to ask O2 that question as its not normal .

No as long as you dont mind not getting UK updates and can cope with the language and the modem actually works in the UK .
Me i would return as not fit for purpose .

Just got off phone with O2 and they confirmed firmware was indeed Asia lol they are exchanging phone again and notifying warehouse that they have Asian units.
I have asked them to send a pebble blue phone out instead of white one
Just got new pebble blue galaxy and guess what ! it has same firmware as above

I'm a complete noob when it comes to firmwares and flashing and I have a few questions about carrier branding.
I bought my GT-I9300 sim-locked and have since unlocked it, but I'm assuming my firmware is still carrier branded? How do I change my phone to be exactly like it would have been had I purchased an unbranded & unlocked phone? That is unrooted, "Device status: Normal", and OTA updates as if I had purchased an unlocked, unbranded phone
Is this possible, and if so what do I need to do?
*#1234# gives the following (This is a carrier branded firmware, right?):

CP: I9300NELH1

I bought my SGS3 in France with Orange provider and I'd like to update my SGS3 with Android 4.0.4 to last 4.1.1 provided from SamMobile firmware, with this information:

Questions are:
1 - There's some problem if I do not update to a stock ROM provided by my provider (Orange)? Like using this one above
2 - My phone still locked from Orange, I have to wait 3 months until free unlock. This procedure will unlock my phone? If YES, I'll have any warranty problem?
3 - How to update? I didn't found any tutorial to do this... (I am an old Android user from Galaxy I5500 but I don't know if is same thing in SGS3)
Does anyone know whether i can I flash XEU firmware with odin to my network locked model? I'm on (EE UK) and would like to have the unlocked unbranded version on my device so i can receive ota's faster than a network locked model?

Basically, I've bought Galaxy Tab S7 in Israel, but when I booted it up, I've discovered that it uses TGY region firmware. I'd like to know if I'm allowed to change firmware to ILO region and will there be any consequences for doing so?
And is there any usable material to read of what firmware from what regions is compatible to firmware of other regions?
