I am using RSD Lite. It stops at step 3 which is a gpt.bin flashing.
You can't downgrade your gpt.bin or your bootloader from a higher version. You can bypass these steps using fastboot and a .bat file. BE WARNED: DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OTA'S after you downgrade. It can cause a hard brick.
it's mfastboot right? or just fastboot then gpt.bin something.
EDIT: I tried it manually and get this error in mfastboot: Preflash validation failed
EDIT2: tried it in regular fastboot and same error.
Edit3: wait, you want me to bypass the bootloader the gpt.bin files? I tried that and it fails on flashing the system stuff. When I edit out on the system stuff it flashed successfully and I am back to square one. (Kingroot still present in the system)
edit 4: I removed the bootloader and gpt.bin and when I reach the system part, it fails there. "version downgraded for system, invalid PIV signed system image"
edit 5: I am using the same version as I am on, 5.1. here is the file: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982087011156
My phone is stuck in a boot loop, I have attempted to use flash_all_lock to flash and relock my bootloader, but it's failing when it tries to flash vbmeta, if I reboot back to fastboot and flash it vbmeta manually it works (I then flash the rest of the contents of the .bat manually) but the phone remains in the same state and won't boot. The error I get is:
C:\MiFlash20191206\rom\firmware>fastboot flash vbmeta C:\MiFlash20191206\rom\firmware\images\vbmeta.img ||
Sending 'vbmeta' (8 KB) FAILED (remote: 'Error: Last flash failed : CRC Error')
fastboot: error: Command failed
"Flash vbmeta error"
Using this rom : umi_eea_global_images_V12.0.1.0.QJBEUXM_20200721.0000.00_10.0_eea_e47a18fd29
Please Ignore this Fixed via adb sideload Phew!
Try to use adb platform tools v29 and flash rom via fastboot using flash.all.bat
Your bootloader is unlocked? If yes then fastboot flash twrp and flash any fw you want sry just saw you fixed it
I have two N200.
I successfully rooted both of them. Some how the second phone got updated to android 12 and lost the root. Ever since this is a headache. Phone is already unlocked boot loader and shows "Device state - unlocked" in fastboot mode.
I wanted to try booting from the patched boot.img i had earlier (From version 11 i assume) just to see if it works but the command fails:
fastboot boot boot.img
Sending 'boot.img' (98304 KB)
Booting Failed (remote: 'unknown command')
fastboot: error: Command failed
Also maybe this is due to being on android 12? If so how can i downgrade? I downloaded the zip file from:

Thank you.
First, I don't think you can use your previous boot. Scanman has a thread on this forum with all pre-rooted boot files, you just need to match according to the FW you're on. Second, after A12 they don't allow fastboot boot anymore, the file has to be flashed instead with fastboot flash.
Again, make sure you use the correct boot otherwise it won't work and you may cause yourself a bigger headache.
So Im trying to flash stock unroted kernel to update to 12L.
I use Minimal ADB&Fastboot, newer had problem with it. And now I cannot flash boot image. I can boot it, but when flashing I get FAILED (remote: Error flashing partition : Device Error)...
Any one had problem like this?
