I've been looking on the internet for hours and I can't really find an answer so I'm hoping somebody here has one.
I have a 20 ultra 5G, I can successfully get any device to connect to PdaNet or netshare but the second my phone screen turns off all devices disconnect. I don't see an option in the settings for Wi-Fi sleep anymore, and obviously it has something to do with the connection from my phone to the other devices.
Does anybody know of a workaround or a fix for this issue?

On android 12 - System/Battery/Allow Background Processes for PDANET - Toggle on. There is also a high performance toggle somewhere on the path as well, but not sure if that was was involved in my screen timeout/disconnect issue. All is well now, however.. MJ

Hi Guys
I have the galaxy s2 and i am having problems with it atm, since the phone died on me during the night i woke up and left it on charge for a few hours till i woke up again and ever since then the phone WILL not sleep when the charger is plugged in? I have checked the settings on it and its all set to the way its meant to be, but when its off the charger it will go on sleep with no problems? Not a big issuse but its kinda annoying when you get a text or tells you its finished charging and the light wont go off when your trying to go to sleep yourself.
Cheers

Suppose someones got to ask haven't they? lol But looks like we might have to suffer cause not many people know of it lol
From a previously posted similar question the issue is a known one. If memory serves me right it's normal for the I9100 not to sleep whilst on charge but remain on either 100Mhz or 200Mhz (can't remember the stated value)

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT start a thread in any development section to ask this Question. You will just get ridiculed (by others, not by me, I'm just warning you) and the post will be moved back here to Q&A by a moderator.
Development forums are intended to release things. Not to ask questions.
Now, to answer your question....
As stated above by HANDSY, if your question refers to the sleep of the CPU, then that does not enter "deep sleep" while the device is in a charging mode. This is normal.
If you are referring to the sleep of the screen, for example, you get a notification which wakes the screen, but the screen then does not sleep afterwards even when the set screen timeout elapses, then that is NOT normal. There are several apps/widgets that are capable of keeping the screen awake while the phone is drawing a charge either from the charger or a USB connection, so I'd check for installed apps/widgets in this case.
Couldn't you place the phone face down while your sleeping so it doesn't annoy you?

Silly question but you're sure you've checked:
Settings > Developer options (under System heading) > "Stay awake" is unchecked?

And to the START of your post i didn't start the post in this development section it was moved here by another moderator and now its going to get moved back over?? I take it this forum doesn't have any communications with anyone on here so before you start going on at me get onto your other moderators first!!!!
It's not getting moved back anywhere. It belongs in Q&A, it was moved to Q&A. Problem ? Take it up with a mod. My clairvoyance tells me this thread is getting closed soon. A bare minimum of research on your part before you posted would have got you an answer to a question that is a known issue with this phone/common knowledge here (not going into DS on charge).
You've got your answer, this thread is finished.

You need to work on your reading comprehension. Read my post over again. I didn't say you started this thread in a development forum. I was just saying that if you DID start a new thread in a development forum to ask this question, that would be wrong. Since questions belong in Q&A.

You posted this in General, it was moved here by Crachel, a Senior Moderator, as it is a question, and questions belong in Q&A. There is plenty of communication here by those who pay attention and follow the rules, as well as between management. You need to do your own research, not ask questions in General or Development, and stop posting in such a contrary manner if you want any kind of assistance here.
Does anyone know any working method to bypass the t-mobile mobile hotspot limit on a S21?
Everything I have tried has failed me at this point?
Any direction or ideas would be greatly appreciated
I've tried pdanet but that doesn't work well when driving. Connection is dropped between cell towers.
I've read dun=0 doesn't work anymore
And changing apn settings hasn't worked for me either.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't see anything on the top of a page, I was also having trouble even finding a spot to make a post, I ve made post before maybe not in the right spot either, as I didn't receive much feedback, but I'm not seeing a spot for new thread, or anything about this I could have added too, sorry for the inconvenience, and your help
Hi there,
I could not find any Thread, that is answering my question and maybe I have to tell you something why I am asking:
I've got a new CarpeIter V4 Pad, which is basically a Soten T71 with a custom Android 9 from the CarpeIter Team
the magnetic field sensor is constantly off after a reboot of the device
none of my other android devices are doing that
I can recalibrate the magnetic field sensor every time, but to be honest: It's driving me crazy and it it totally annoying ... and currently I am asking myself: How and where is the calibration data stored? I mean wouldn't it be possible to save the calibration data somewhere and restore it on boot? And maybe add a schedule for the user to recalibrate it?
The question sounds maybe somehow naive to you guys, but as far as I can see there are many people with huge knowhow in this forum, so who don't ask don't get an answer
Cheers!
PS: Sorry for my bumpy "german english"

I found a "mag_bias.json" in "/mnt/vendor/nvcfg/sensor/" ... and I've tried to change values but the compass is still totally of after a reboot ...
Then I copied the "mag_bias.json" to "mag_cali.json", made changes, but no result on the compass
I am trying to have a script I would assume (I am not an expert on this) with AT commands to have my modem connect ONLY to a single chosen cell tower (or perhaps a whitelist of towers). This functionality seems to be difficult to achieve as the chosen cell tower will not be the tower with the highest power reading.
I need some help or a consultant to help me. If I cannot achieve this on Android (it does not have to be Qualcomm), i would ask for help to perhaps achieve this on PC based modenfrom Quectel or SimCom. I have also looked at some IoT vendors so I would be open to others. I need a data connection only and would prefer T-Mobile but am open to whatever solution I can find. Cheers
