This week my phone seems to have lost the google search widget and the google nerws feed when swiping left from the goolge home screen.
Wondering if this is a known issue or localised to my device.

I have found that when searching my phone for appointments in the calendar, I get inconsistent results. For instance, if I use an app like Power Search from the Android Market, I get 20 appointments found with the word "dentist" in my calendar which is everything as far as I can tell. If I use the built-in search on the Hero, I sometimes get 2, or 3 or 4 results, but that is it. But then I also sometimes find all 20. It appeared random at first, but it _seems_ to be related to what info I have viewed in the calendar app recently. For instance, if I swipe backwards through several months in the HTC calendar app and then do a built-in search, I find more results. It is as if the search can only find results for calendar info that has been recently cached in memory or something? Anyone else see this behaviour, or is my phone crazy?
I have scoured the net and frustrated myself trying to figure this out. I have not found an ounce of info on the web about this problem.
How do you get the Google Calendar widget that is included on the galaxy tab to show the widget in full month view?
I have not found this in any options, the widget + sign doesnt give me the option, its frustrating, because it used to do it for me before, but now it doesnt.
I am not interested in another calendar application, so please dont bash google calendar app and tell me to go install such and such app instead.
Since the bright folks at HTC/Google took away the Search Button how do you search your contacts INSIDE Google Nav?
So frustrating.
On EVO 3D and EVO 4G I used to install ASOP Contacts.APK.
From the home screen I could hit Search say a Contact Name and it would pop up the Conact (once you set things up right). A Google Nav Icon would be next to the Address in the Contact and I'd click it and be on my way.
So I gave that up for now. HTC Sense (People) puts Google Maps next to your Address which requires a lot more waiting and many more clicks.
So fine, I'll go to Nav directly and search my contacts.
Now I can't do that.
WTF.
I have installed the Google experience launcher and updated all the Google apps but still I don't get the OK Google to activate voice search feature found on nexus 5 after a lot of search I found that changing the language to English us would enable it but noting happened even after that I don't have OK Google written on the search bar but I have a hotfix enabled to turn on voice activation for Google now but when ever I say OK Google noting happens nor does the Google experience launcher show the voice search app icon in the app drawer it is shown in other launcher so is it the problem of launcher or some thing else
This is strange: Recently my Chrome app will crash 100% of the time I tap the search box to enter a query. The app itself will launch, I can change settings and make new tabs, but as soon as I try to type anything into search or URL bar the app instantly crashes.
The really weird part is, it ONLY does it if I use Google for the search provider. If I change to Bing, Yahoo, Ask, etc then no crashing!
Corrupt setting somewhere? I am running CM10.1 on an HTC Rezound and the problem has only been happening for a week or two. I reverted from Chrome 37 back to 36 and it still exhibits the same behavior. I wiped Chrome settings with Titanium with no luck. Is there a different underlying app in the system that handles taps to the search box that I can wipe settings and see if it helps?
Thanks!
