Trying to encrypt Redmi 5 Plus just reboots the OS without encryption - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 / 5 Plus Questions & Answers

I have Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus with ArrowOS v11 2021-10-12 and TWRP 3.5.2_9-0 installed.
When I try to encrypt the phone, battery +80% and plugged, the phones turns off, the Arrow logo flashes a couple of times, then the phone turns on and asks me for the phone password (but not the sim pin lock). When I check it, it still says non encrypted!
Any fix to fix this problem and encrypt it.

MIUI Roms gets bootloop after reboot!!!

Hi i just bought a redmi note 3 sd version and i unlocked it officially, installed Alka recovery, and when i install MIUI based Rom or the official one. My phone boots normally but when i try to reboot my device, the device keeps showing Mi logo and it reboots to Mi logo again and again and again....till battery dies. Tried installing AOSP or CM13 but it looks im the only person that has a problem with fingerprint in both ROMs.

Hey, what kind of problem do you have with fingerprint compatible ROM?
Because I have problem with fingerprint compatible ROM too (always stuck in Mi Logo after flash)
And when I flash MIUI (Official or ROM based) it always reboot randomly, but random reboot always happen every 5-10 seconds phone booted up, it also happen in AOSP 5.1.1
This phone is driving me crazy
I can't use almost every single ROM
- MIUI & AOSP (random reboot)
- CM13 with fingerprint compatible (can't booted up / stuck in mi logo) and then can't enter recovery until it to re-unlocked and reflash TWRP again to able enter recovery
The only ROM I can use are CM12.1 and CM13 with fingerprint uncompatible, it can booted up normally (maybe because the bootloader still not relocked) but the battery drain like crazy
Android OS/System used battery usage more than SOT
Wonder someone can fix the problem

Sometimes no prompt for decryption pattern after reboot

Hi,
some months ago I started to notice a strange behavior when restarting my phone. I'm using LOS 15 and TRWP 3.2.1.0 as recovery and often when I reboot my phone it seems like the phone is stuck inside a boot loop (only the LineageOS boot animation runs forever) and I never see the prompt to enter the decryption pattern.
When I power off the phone completely and restart it, it usually works and the prompt for decryption shows up and the phone boots. I cannot tell If this started with a certain version of LOS.
Does anybody have the same issues and even a solution cause this is really annoying.

bootloop

hello everyone,
my redmi note 3 pro special (kate) with locked bootloader and always original roms (never modified) has been stopped for about 2 years due to inactivity, but before it had always worked great!
wednesday I tried to turn on my kate.
the device went into continuous bootloop. whereupon I tried to enter fastboot, activate edl and flash with miflash a whole series of roms, from the last, to 9.6, 9.5, 6.7 and all those that can still be found, but always with the same disappointing result: the device makes the first start (sometimes forcing it with a restart because it remained enchanted for hours in the initial animation after the "mi" logo), but immediately during the initial configuration of the so returns to restart without allowing use.
whereupon, I decide to open the back of the redmi and disconnect the battery overnight, in the hope that this could solve any problems.
but unfortunately nothing...
after yet another flash and I start, I can't even start this morning: when I press the power button the fixed initial logo "mi" starts, goes off and starts again ... I'm practically in infinite bootloop ...
I only need the kate as a forklift, but I would be sorry to have to throw it away completely.
does anyone have a suggestion to get out of this troubles?

Poco F1 Bricked?

Hello,
some days ago I noticed that my Poco F1 (with Lineage OS) is draining battery from 60% in the morning to 15% in the afternoon without using it. After unlocking it from lock screen it told me that it would like to stopp some apps from eating up battery. I agreed.
Some time later I grabbed my phone again and now I was not able to log in. The screen stayed black although my mobile was running.
I switched it off with power button and on again but I could not pass the Poco F1 boot screen. Fastboot Mode was possible too. TWRP was somehow gone. I was not able to enter TWRP. So I entered FasBoot and flashed TWRP (same version as before) again. Still not possible to enter TWRP. So I flashed Orange Fox. But it was not possible to enter that too.
So I flashed the phone completely with the automated Xiaomi Poco F1 repairtool back to the original Global ROM. The bootlogo change to a different Poco F1 bootlogo with the android sign on bottom and now the unlock sign was on top but still no chance to pass the bootscreen. Still no TWRP / or other Bootloader. Only Fastboot or Bootlogo.
What else could I try? I have opend it and removed the power cables so that it will not drain my battery cuz I could not switch my Poco off. (
Is it really bricked?

Check and follow the guide "Clean Install Official Stock ROM" at POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides.
Thanks. I will try and report back.

I think the problem is that since I flashed a new global system I do not have USB Debugging enabled. (?)
But there are other problems too:
I can only enter "fastboot" mode. No bootlader (No TWRP/No Orangefox/No Miui Bootloader)
The only screen I get is "Poco F1" Bootlogo.
No errors are reported back. The files seem all to flash fine. But still it won't boot. Just "Poco F1" bootscreen. (Bootloader still open though.)
:sigh:
Thanks anyway.

[Question] Bypassing Xiaomi MIUI PIN lock screen

Hello everybody,
I was trying to remove screen lock pin from my Xiaomi Mi 10, from the scren lock settings menu, the phone asked for the current pin and, after entering it (correctly I assume), the phone gave an error and shut down.
Since the next reboot I've still found the lock screen asking for the pin but no longer accepting the last one.
What happened? How can I fix? I did not change the pin, I was on the screen lock removal menu.
I have unbacked-up data that I absolutely need to recover, the phone comes with stock ROM, it doesn't have usb debugging mode active, bootloader is still locked.
I tried turning the phone on in safe mode but it still asks for the pin, I tried removing the SIM card too.
The phone is linked with my google account but (maybe for a bug?) android device manager can't connect to my phone until it is unlocked (last time seen is before the lock screen problem).
There is no Xiaomi account linked to my phone then I can't find it using Mi Cloud.
I'm able to access to recovery mode or fastboot. I also downloaded Mi Phone Assistant that is able to recognise my phone in download mode but the disclaimer says that updating the phone may result in data loss.
Is there any software I can use to reset the pin code without losing my data?
Thank you!
